I love all olivias, but she has to admit to herself how she screwed Fitz up! I hate myself, but Jake is Hot and he better turn out to be on Liv's side.. which I believe.
I believe Liv has already admitted to what she has done. That's one of the reasons she was so depressed a couple of episodes ago and she told Fitz that he didn't know her and she tried to talk to him about it after that closet scene but he shut her down. And Liv didn't screw Fitz up...he was already screwed up from his dad and even from being married to Mellie...Liv just disappointed him because he believed that she was different from all those other people. He put her on too high of a pedestal and you should never do that because people will always let you down in some form or fashion. He should just accept that she is human just like the others, and even him who is so very flawed...so far he's had two affairs, lied to Liv about one affair to try to save himself from public scorn and her wrath, killed Verna (that heffa!), has a bad temper (he's very cold and brutal to people around him when he's angry or as Cy says...he ticks), didn't call Mellie out on her lie about her fake miscarriage when he was running for Prez, and he hasn't resigned (which would be the right thing to do) knowing that he is not legitimately the Prez. So even though LIv made her bad decision (out of love for him and pressure from the DC5) she didn't do it to hurt him. She thought she was doing it for him. While he was grieving after his father's funeral, he told her he wanted it and I believe that is what propelled her to do it. She didn't want Fitz's father to win either because she didn't like him for Fitz's sake. I also believe that she felt guilty that he was losing because she basically told him that had she not been involved with him, she would have been on top of her game. As she said in the very first episode, he "clouded" her judgment. Yes, Liv hurt Fitz but he's going to have to start dealing with all of this like a grown man who is the leader of the free world!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Bring on Thursday night!
