It was a perfect series finale for this show. Tina Fey is the best. I honestly felt like every single joke and reference was written so that I'd personally enjoy it....All the way back in 2006 when it came out and I got the first few episodes on my little iPod and was the only one who cared to get the jokes. LEMON OUT! :D
That capped of a wonderful last season. I was disappointed a lot with parts of S5/S6 and was ready for the show to end. Having a final season was such a creative push for the show. They really planned the storylines well and gave everyone a great send off. Going to miss it a lot now it has gotten so good again.
I loved it to bits and I am going to watch it over and over again! The best series finale in TV history! Tina Fey is a genius and I can't wait to watch her next show and movie and read her second book (hopefully someday). 30 Rock always hit my humor spot on and with this finale they made no mistakes. I loved it. And I always knew Kenneth was immortal!
Finally caught up and watched the finale, and LOVED it. Everything definitely took me back to all the inside jokes that really endeared this show to me. Sure, it got a little rough and uneven in the recent seasons, but the characters of the show really were the centerpiece and this ep really gave them all a chance to go out on a high note, which they did for me. I'll miss it...
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteEverything was perfect, from the recurring gags like Jenna finally coming clean about Mickey Rourke, to the emotional farewell between Jack and Liz.
ReplyDeleteWe did go to there.
