The House Bunny may headline her own primetime sitcom next fall.
Anna Faris has been cast in Mom, a multi-camera comedy in development for CBS that’s from uber-producer Chuck Lorre. She will play a sober single mom who attempts to turn her life around in, all places, the Napa Valley.
Lorre penned the script with Two and a Half Men scribes Eddie Gorodetsky and Gemma Baker. Besides headlining The House Bunny, Faris’ other credits include Observe and Report and The Dictator.

ReplyDeleteFaris, not Farris ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for all your work! Great site!
Meh.... I really don't think it's good for CL to wear himself thin with so many shows...
ReplyDeletewell given the success of all his other comedies on CBS I'd say they'll be crazy not to pick up another one and well Faris is well liked and actually funny.
ReplyDeleteCharlie Sheen told me he was a no talent hack.
ReplyDeleteYay another Chuck Lorre sitcom......
ReplyDeleteI can't say I'm angry for another Lorre comedy, the fries and soda equivalent of comedy.
ReplyDeletePlus, I love Faris. "Would you poop on me?"
