    I had the biggest grin on my face when I heard "Surprise, motherfucker!" Curious how everything is going to play out. I'm hoping Deb doesn't go down with Dex, and I hope that somehow Dex gets out of LaGuerta's harness. Gah, I want to know what happens now.

    Going to be a flashback off past of doakes, that last sec of clip LT arresting Dexter I feel is his fantasy , Hannah cant live wont live so who gets it Laqurtia as Tom and Deb team up to put her down alive or dead . Dexter finishes it Quinn possible danger

    My gut is telling me that Deb set Hannah up. What better way to get rid of her than to make Dexter doubt her & think she is threatening a member of his family.

    First of all... WOW! Last episode is going to EPIC! I also think that it will be second in the history of "Dexter" cliffhanger episode (first one was last season with Deb finding out).

    On the other note... Doakes is clearly flashback or nightmare - there's no way that they bring him back... Nope! :) Maybe Doakes is going to be Dexter's "apparation" of Dark Passanger or something like that?

    As for LaGuerta... well... she can of course arrest Dex, but I don't think she have any solid proof... Maybe she will do it just to shake him up, to test him... also this whole arrest scene could be just Dexter;s imagination (just like Deb's reaction in season two)... we all remember that :)

    So many questions, and soooo little time :P

    1) If Dex really is arrested, that final season 8 could be his trial, ale ultimate test to his forensic skills for all of those years and burrying the evidence. Rule number one people... "Don't get caught!" :P
    2) Bay Harbour Butcher Trial.... wow... just wow! Imagine the possibilities! :)
    3) If season 8 is going to be the final season, than the story arc need to be close. And there is so much more to tell....
    4) If Dex is arrested... even under suspiction... how it will affect Deb job? Police Lt. and sister of BHB? Press would have a field day...
    5) My hopes for this years finale? Wellll....
    ---- Hannah dead... I love you darling, but I'm sorry... you need to go :P
    ---- LaGuerta disgraced or dead... one way or the other is acceptable to me :)
    ---- Deb finnaly accepting Dexter curricular activities.... ok, I know it's a long shot, but guy can hope... :P
    ---- Batista retiring... he deserves it :)
    ---- Some epic Vince Massuka scene... yeah!
    ---- And finally.... some clever way for Dexter to escape LaGuerta's trap :)

    Flashbacks? Could be another voice in his head. Like Harry or Brian. As I said, it's
    probably fear. To be arrested, to go to prison, to brand his son as the son of a killer, to get Deb arrested, … Since Doakes no one was ever so close on him.
    12 eps on a trial? I don't think so. Especially cause there is nothing he can do from inside
    a cell. You know, like faking evidence, make them disappear, … As from the point when he is arrested there is nothing he can do. Neither can Deb, cause I think she'll go to prison along with him. Or at least be suspended till the case is closed.
    When Hannah drops in her cell, or the car, or whatever, I think she took poison. Like: I rather die than go to jail. Or maybe she took something so she would be taken to a hospital, so she can escape.
    I said before that it's always a problem to kill a cop or make him disappear. And since
    LaGuerta is telling her theory to everyone, killing her would probably cause more problems that it would solve. No. Dex has to make sure, no one would believe her.

    I have a suspicion that Batista is going to die. He is setting up a new life for himself he is retiring story wise it makes sense. This isn't a show about happy endings.

    It seriously makes me question how smart people here are when they really think that Doakes is alive and back. Its a past scene, guys. Flashbacks. If he was alive, it most certainly wouldn't be revelead on a promo.

    If she has done it which seems pretty convincing than BOY she has put her relationship with Dexter in danger.If and when Dexter finds out that she took away the love of his life. don't think he could ever forgive her.Don't want him to.

    I know what you mean! -The episode title made me think, what if this is the finale and writers just didn't want to tell us, "Surprise, Mother--------!"


    But it does look like a scary finale. I have know idea how Dex is going to get out of any of it!

    I just can't buy that Hannah would be dumb enough to go after Deb, it would be way too obvious to Dexter. Hannah also said she doesn't make mistakes & after Sal Price, there's no way she would risk screwing up like that, she would make sure Deb went down. Deb is like a dog with a bone when she gets a bug in her butt about a case, this time its Hannah. Couple that with her "feelings" (VOMIT! Worse storyline they ever introduced!) for Dexter & all the covering up she's been doing for him to protect him, damn right I think she's capable of setting Hannah up. She asked Dexter to kill her so I don't think its a stretch that she would drug herself just to get Hannah gone.

    I was discussing with ShatteredOne the possibility that Dex is just imagining being arrested. Like in S2 when he imagined what could happen if he tells Deb he is BHB. He could think about his possibilities. What happens, if he kills LaGuerta, or if he doesn't kill her, what happens if he tries to make a run for it … At least I hope so. Cause I have no idea how Dex will make it out of it, once he is arrested.

    And Doakes could be his new voice in this stage, like Harry or Brian. I mean that guy IS dead, isn't he?

    Since the cops already have evidence that the BHB is still in business (thanks to LaGuerta setting Dexter up) I'm going to guess that Deb will cross the ultimate line and do a little Bay Harbor Butchering of her own while Dex is in custody to clear his name.

    The guy who is in the trunk is Astrada, the one who got away in episode 11.

    Fantastic season so far. I almost cry at the scene when Hannah is arrested. Somehow i feel very sorry for Dexter. The writers hav done a great job setting a love interest for Dex, one that is very true.

    I wonder how Dexter will react when he finds out that Debra poison herself, because that is very obvious.

    also... Hannah is planning an escape. She faints and maybe then she fools the guards. WE can see her later in the promo well dressed (not in the orange jail suit).


    I keep up wondering about Doakes. In the promo we can see him for a split second, but before that is a short scene where Deb is looking very strange towards the door, and then Doakes apears.



    Not sure that the two scenes are one after the other.



    It will be a big surprise that Doakes is alive, and Laguerta knew offcurse. That's why she was so intrigued to find out the real BHB. And obvios Doakes stayed hiiden....because what else should you do when you are incriminated as the BHB.
