Thanks to Laura3341 for the heads up
USA Network is ordering a pilot from writers Cheryl Heuton and Nicolas Falacci based on a short story from the Elmore Leonard anthology "When the Women Come Out to Dance."
The drama from Heuton and Falacci, who were co-creators of CBS' procedural "Numbers," centers on a Miami businessman who is contemplating a run for political office and tries to increase his chances of being elected by marrying a Colombian woman who is on the run from her troubled past.
What starts as a marriage of convenience quickly escalates into much more as the woman proves to be more resourceful at "fixing" any problem the corrupt political scene throws at her husband.
Untitled project comes from Universal Cable Prods. and Doug Liman's Hypnotic shingle.

Might be fun. Will keep my eye open for this one.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a possible replacement for Uncommon Law or one of the other USA shows that are on thin ice if it gets ordered to series
ReplyDeleteThis seems more interesting than the pilots USA has been picking up lately.
ReplyDeleteI miss Numb3rs, tbh.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds pretty interesting!
congrats to Fallacci and Heuton for their very human, believable and contemporary characters in Numbers. Each episode ends on a laughable note and focuses on the something good (if not fallible) in the character of the Epps family. It may have been filmed some time ago but your ending messages about love of family and relationships is timeless. Thanks a lot for a good show
