NBC’s Animal Practice is about to reveal the underlying cause of its lead character’s hellacious disposition: Annie Potts! TVLine has learned exclusively that the Designing Woman vet has been cast as Virginia, the intractable mother of Justin Kirk’s grumpy veterinarian, George.
