How I Met Your Mother - Season 8 - Cobie Smulders Interview

Thanks to Babar for the heads up.

Fans of “How I Met Your Mother” finally saw the reveal of Barney’s (Neil Patrick Harris) bride-to-be at the conclusion of Season 7 in the form of, none other than, Cobie Smulders’ character, Robin Scherbatsky.

But with the curtain falling on Season 7 before the “I do’s,” where will the upcoming Season 8 begin?

“We’re picking up right where we left off,” Cobie revealed to Access Hollywood Live’s Billy Bush and Kit Hoover on Tuesday morning.

However, don’t expect to hear wedding bells in the season premiere – or, potentially, anytime soon on the show.

“We have a very weird timeframe. The wedding takes place at the end of this season,” Cobie added.

  1. I guess Cobie doesn't read the execs interviews, or she would have known that the wedding is happening.

  2. She didn't say that the wedding is not happening... she just said that it is not in the first episode of the season, but at the end of the season.

  3. But the Barney/Robin wedding will happen… right?

    “Our
show is very mysterious and we like to keep it that way – even for
people who work on it! So I don’t really know. I think that they’re
intending to get married. I don’t know what’s going to happen,” Cobie
    admitted.
