Series creator Shonda Rhimes tells TVLine exclusively that the ABC drama’s new season will find one of the show’s couples exchanging “I dos.”

“We are going to have a wedding this season,” Rhimes confirmed. “But that’s all I’m going to say.”

Considering that three of the show’s main duos — Derek/Mer, Cristina/Owen, Callie/Arizona — have already taken the plunge, that leaves Bailey/Ben and Jackson/April as the perceived frontrunners.

    It's got to be Bailey and Ben. Though I suppose if it's Jackson and April they can be irrelevant together instead of apart.

    I've no idea and am not particularly interested in a prospective wedding anyway. With all of the recent and upcoming departures Webber and Alex are the characters I'm most interested in and they're real long shots for marriage anyway.

    Well if i'm not mistaken Shondra said Alex was going to find his true love this season.If he indeed does it could very well be him?

    Besides B&B getting married.

    I think it'll be Webber & Jackson's Mom. Isn't the actor who plays Ben in some other show so he won't be in Grey's very much? I can see him & Bailey splitting up if they're doing the long distance thing.

    B&B sounds like the obvious choice, so probably will not happen. Jackson/April could be more interesting, it would be really effed up if he offered to marry to make their intercourse less "sinful" and even more if she accepted.
