(Spoiler alert: Don't read this if you don't want to know anything about what's coming up on "The Walking Dead."

"Walking Dead" showrunner Glen Mazzara doesn't want to reveal too much about the upcoming third season of the show – but he will say, emphatically, how the entire series won't end.

  1. Very good interview. I liked that he explained that TWD does not have a revelatory theme. We don't really need to know what started the outbreak. Interesting that he completely ignored the Darabont question and went on to say how great Kirkman is. Take that, Frank!

  2. I like Mazzara's emphasis on clarity in his interviews. It's something I appreciate. There's nothing more irksome than reading an interview where the interviewee is vague and averse to straightforward answers.

Hey now, Frank Darabont made a great first season. I think he would have handled the second season well too.

  4. Oh, I wasn't dissing Frank. I was dissing Glenn dissing Frank. He was asked if he had some feeling where Frank was headed with the show, and he completely ignored the question. Odd.

  5. They seem to be following Kirkman's lead with the comics, in never revealing how the outbreak began. Every few months, someone will write in a letter to Letter Hacks and ask if he's going to ever tell that story. Every few months, he says no.
