CASTLE STRUGGLES TO KEEP BECKETT SAFE AS SHE HUNTS DOWN THE MAN WHO SHOT HER, ON THE SEASON FINALE OF ABC'S "CASTLE"

"Always" -- When the murder of an Army veteran puts Beckett on the trail of the man who shot her, Castle must decide how much he's willing to sacrifice to keep her safe. As secrets are revealed and feelings are put on the table, the lives of the detectives at the 12th Precinct may never be the same, on the Season Finale of "Castle," MONDAY, MAY 7 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

"Castle" stars Nathan Fillion as Richard Castle, Stana Katic as NYPD Detective Kate Beckett, Susan Sullivan as Martha Rodgers, Molly Quinn as Alexis Castle, Penny Johnson Jerald as NYPD Captain Victoria Gates, Tamala Jones as Medical Examiner Lanie Parish, Jon Huertas as NYPD Detective Javier Esposito, and Seamus Dever as NYPD Detective Kevin Ryan.

Guest Cast: Tahmoh Penikett as Cole Maddox, Judith Scott as Evelyn Montgomery.

"Always" was written by Terri Edda Miller & Andrew Marlowe and directed by Rob Bowman.

    This anticipation is going to kill me! The last time they said something about lives not being the same, Montgomery freakin' died!! And I don't like "Castle" and "sacrifice" in the same sentence!!!

    I'm on the same page, but I still think that there will be making out or maybe more and then BAM, Beckett finds out about Castle's secret (mystery man and all) and they fight, she doesn't know if she can trust him, "wah wah wah" and they spend some months apart.

    Yeah, that's exactly what I'm afraid of. I'd like it so much better if they only start something when everything is out in the open, because otherwise when secrets come out their trust issues would be getting incredibly big.
    But since the latter makes for better drama, I fear that they'll indeed spend another summer apart -.-

    I know - really makes me wonder what kind of 'sacrifice' they're talking about: personal safety?  Or losing Beckett?  (If it's the latter, I really might not survive.   Just this ONCE, I'm hoping for a finale where Castle and Beckett are still on speaking terms at the end!  A girl can dream!)

    Me too, I thought the talk would have been way before the season finale. And I agree that a summer in the Hamptons would have been a fun way to end this season. Oh well, we all know that it's not going to happen.
