    Ya it's the season one photo used as the background, but it is them promoting the return to the series recently I believe...

    So more of a Season 4 press photo than a poster I guess....
    Regardless.... this made me smile this morning! XD

    IT's one of the more unique sitcoms I've ever seen.
    It's a serial sitcom for one. There are constant callbacks to running jokes that go throughout the 3 seasons. There is a fair amount of meta humor as they mock themselves and/or FOX network. The cast  is each perfect in their roles.

    I think there are more laughs per episode on Arrested Development than any comedy I have ever watched honestly. It is not like one or two quotable lines per episode... it's dozens in many episodes. 

    That said, it's unique so it is an acquired taste for many...It's also irreverent and can be over the top at times. For me it strikes on all cylinders, but some may find it offensive or unfunny etc.... Also being that there are a lot of reused or jokes called back to, if you don't find the jokes funny the first time it probably will not be funny the next few times around either... 

    For me it's  one of the best sitcoms of all time and my personal favorite. If you do check it out be sure to watch the "On the next episode" previews at the end of each episode..... that material rarely actually appears in the following episode and is there just for giggles.

    I finally finished watching the series tonight and can say that I understand and completely agree with all the love and the critical praise the show got despite never getting the ratings. (Kinda sounds like Community nowadays) Just a great cast with outstanding writing and I'm bummed that I didn't get to enjoy it live, but am very psyched that it's coming back!
