I stopped watching the office some time ago. It had become too predictable and had a lack of real character growth. I blame #LOST for my need for better TV shows. #LOSTties
I thought this was a pretty fun episode, actually. Jim's prank at the beginning was pretty hilarious - it's amazing what a dad on his kids' sleep cycle can get up to haha.. it's terrifying that Creed wrote 12 plays - I shudder to think of how his mind works! It was kind of strange that they didn't push the Kathy/Jim thing - it seemed like they built it up and didn't follow through. Will they still be in Florida next week?
I'm disappointed they are doing this whole Jim/Kathy thing; I'm sure they'll pick it up again while the group is in Florida. As much as I realize they need something to carry the show through to the season finale, we all know what's going to happen there - nothing - and if it does, trying hard not to be a troll here, it'll be a classic jump the shark moment. The one thing I did not want to happen when Michael Scott left is for the show to become the Jim & Pam show, and at points, that's what it has become. Tallahassee was a great standalone ep showing the writers can still do well without manufactured drama. Please kill that storyline quickly & gracefully!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteBest episode in a VERY long time.
ReplyDeleteIt was good, loved the open to the episode, loved Stanley. But the lady, forget her name, is just as bad as I thought she was last year.
