  1. Grimm has the potential to be sooo good....but right now it's lacking that oomph that made Buffy and Angel classics in there own right....in my opinion the casting for the lead is all wrong ...David Giuntoli is just not hero material.....and he comes across kinda cartoonish....the supporting cast is great, especially Silas Weir Mitchell who plays Monroe.....maybe they should kill of Nick at the end of the season and cast a new character as Grimm.

  3. Shut your mouth! LOL  * shields Nick protectively*  I love Nick! I think he's perfect for the role, personally, though I agree that Silas is a key component to how awesome the show is (and could be).  But I can respect that others might have a different perspective.

  4. I was distracted, but I did notice when Captain Renard ordered a divine intervention in a confessional no less. Oh. I'm going to like rewatching this episode.

  5. Soooooo glad that we  finally get some movement on the mytharc as it pertains to the police captain (royalty of some kind) and who he works for/with  with the introduction of the priest who obviously holds some high station as well. The one thing that I wish they could explain is: is there any other abilities that a Grimm can wield other than to recognize a Wessen when they are in monster mode? Like at least limited bouts of superhuman strength, speed, or super fighting ability or something? Because it seems that without his gun, Nick is just a regular guy, and if he doesn't get the drop on a super strong/dangerous perp who doesn't fear what he is, he might be toast. I know I'm asking for him to be like something of a slayer who is a chosen one, but that's how the story has presented itself and would like there to be more mystique attached to a Grimm that the other Wessen should fear other than his ability to see what they really are. I hope that they keep going down the path with the mytharc and move it along and give us more tidbits as to what else is going on there in Portland besides all the granola and hipsters....

  6. This is such a great show. I really prefer watching a couple of episode in a row, but I just can not wait that long. I really wish they would get rid of that girlfriend of Nicks soon though. I find Juliette exstremely annoying!

  8. I loved getting more information about the universe and the background on the captain...royalty?  Was that literal?

But the case of the week was weak.  I think it might have been better if Brian had survived.  I could have gotten something more out of the ep.

Was I the only person that had trouble getting a read on the almost fiance's discovery of the ring?

  9. I've felt that, in terms of screen presence, David Giuntoli is the weakest link in the cast.  I think he's  perfectly fine actor but my eye tends to go to other actors.   But he's grown on me quite a lot.  He still doesn't command the screen for me but I'm liking him much more than when the show started.

  10. Apparently they do NOT automatically get super strength.   Unless he's taught something new when his aunt's friend shows up he's going to have to continue to fight smart.  :-)  So far his only super power seems to be information.

(incidentally loved Monroe bouncing up and down about being trusted to enter the inner sanctum)

I'm torn on whether or not I agree with you about there being something other than a great library and the ability to see the Wessen's true form.  There's a part of me that likes the idea that a normal guy can fight this fight.  But on the other hand...if you're going to be special enough to save the world....shouldn't you be "special"?
