  3. That was pretty good, got a big ol' grin on my face when Community was there.  Kinda felt bad that since Chuck is now over they weren't included.  Ah well, good job NBC, first good decision I've liked from you in a long time.

  9. Aces, NBC !

First, I love that they didn't forget about Community (10 seconds, it's better than nothing), and second I find it somehow comforting that in this montage Parks & Recreation and Community are right after the two shows which clearly matter the most to NBC (30 Rock and The Office), while Whitney and Chelsea barely have a 5-second scene long after. Niark niark. It probably doesn't mean anything, but I like that.

If only NBC could heavily promote Community during the game with, I don't know, a 30-second spot with Joel McHale facing the camera and saying something like "if you don't watch Community, you suck", followed by the big NBC voice saying "Community returns next Thursday at 9:30/8:30c on NBC".

Or even better, if NBC execs suddently feel like programming episode 3.11 of Community and episode 4.15 of Parks & Rec right after the game. Ah, they would have been be the greatest if they had done that.

Anyway, enjoy the game everyone !

  23. When I first saw this I almost died Mariska Hargitay with cuffs AND singing!!!!

  24. She wasn't really singing, I was hysterical laughing seeing her with those cuffs. Mariska does have very good comedic side to her.

  25. Everyone in this commerical was, the song and the lipsyncing didn't match up. Whatever, it still was funny and enjoyable to watch

  26. I only checked this link out because Law & Order SVU...the musical is about the most bizarre thing I can imagine. Interesting choice for NBC.  Perhaps it's to highlight the Voice and Smash.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I don't think that is why, they highlighted all their shows and made it into a musical for the superbowl..

  28. Bahaha Ron's thumbs down was awesome. Also yay for Community and Grimm!
