  3. Geez.  I think Grey's is trying to give Cristina another breakdown along with the one Teddy is sure to have.

  6. Owens is a punk b*** but i can understand why he hasnt told her. We all know Mer doesnt get hit. Damn it my heart is breaking for Cristina and Teddy.

  7. I second that emotion!

  8. If any one can pull it off, and she has proven it, its Cristina. Sandra is a phenom!!!!

  9. Owen hasn't told her for the exact reason Chief Webber explained in the fall finale.  He can't be her friend right now.  There's a person on the operating table and he has to be the Chief of Surgery.  It's a rare, necessary dick move.

  10. Sorry but Owen needs to grow a pair! How long is he going to torture poor Christina? She is exhausted, depressed and again she has to go in an operate, and work side by side with Teddy. Then to top it off Teddy asks Christina she she is mad at her,the look in christina's eyes is heartbreaking....You know the other shoe is going to drop, now, like soon. Really this is almost too much.

I don't think Meredith gets hit by the car,or truck though god knows something always happens to her,but it usually happens as a cliffhanger.....

Really, this is too much, its becoming unbearable, the waiting, and those damn masks does such a good job,to good in fact, and i think the writers knew that, and thats exactly why they wanted it like that. You don't need the written words, just look at there eyes, the pain is plain to see ............really......

  12. Owen did grow a pair.  He's willingly being the *sshole in this situation in order to save a life.  Both Cristina and Teddy will probably resent him after this is all over but sometimes doing the right thing isn't easy.

  13. I can understand what you're saying too.  If I was Cristina in that situation, I'd probably want to punch Owen in the face.

  14. i'd give a high kick to the head lol

  15.  Oh i know it isn't easy,and i wouldn't want to be in his,or Christiana's shoes right now.
It wasn't just this situation that i feel Owen hasn't lived up to shoulder some of the responsibility, but there have been some others since becoming "Chief"

In this one tho, look at what Christiana has done and been through in one day(there day)not only did she operate, lose a patient, then finds out who this patient was, almost goes into shock because of it,then is asked to put all of this aside and operate again, with Teddy.  If Owen had just told Teddy after that first surgery,Christina would have been able to handle it on her own.The news would have been out,it would have been difficult but Chris would have been able to focus on the surgery. And all of this extra drama would have been avoided......But we both know that is exactly why the writers wrote it this way,for the drama,lol.... :)

  16. there is another sneak peek which doesn't seem to be up here, of Teddy and Cristina do a woo dance it was the most sillest one i have ever seen it's up on GG.
Can see why Owen is being like he is, sometimes it sux to be the boss, although i think the undercurrent is gonna twist back to the abortion.  Also think both Teddy and Cristina will hate Owen more then ever but like i said he will hold the abortion against Cristina sort of like blackmail.
We know Mer doesn't get hit, going by the promotional photo's, also the speed the oncoming car is driving at suggest's it could be Derek coming to the rescue but don't think it is, all i'll thank god the got good brakes.
As an end note would of liked to have seen the xray scene between Derek, Lexi and Julia as a peek.

  20. i really hope this stoyline helps to increase the ratings... they've been getting lower and lower as episodes go, and i can't even imagine what's going to happen in season nine if McDreamy is really not going to be there :(

  21. I get what you're saying, but they aren't friends. They're married. I feel like a lot of the Mer/Der drama revolved around Mer sometimes struggling with balancing her professional relationship with Derrick and her personal one- and that she was criticized for keeping things from her partner that were a lot less destructive than this current Cristina/Teddy/Owen drama. Also, as a chief how is it a good thing to create such a grief-anger-snowball between one of your best interns and their mentor? Wouldn't you want to minimize the fall-out however possible? I mean, I get the whole "save this patient" perspective but come on.... How many patients could suffer from the cardio surgeons essentially being in such an emotionally volatile situation? Seems a bit far fetched to me especially given their (Teddy/Cristina's) working relationship was already fairly sketch prior to this recent make-up.

  22. In Owen's position, the fact that his subordinate is also his wife cannot be a consideration.

"Also, as a chief how is it a good thing to create such a grief-anger-snowball between one of your best interns and their mentor?"

Obviously it's not but that will always be a secondary consideration.  The first consideration is always the life at stake on the table.

"How many patients could suffer from the cardio surgeons essentially being in such an emotionally volatile situation?"

In the current situation, only Cristina is burdened with the actual events that have occurred outside Teddy's operating room and Cristina is tough enough to handle it.  Teddy is just fine for now.

"Seems a bit far fetched to me especially given their (Teddy/Cristina's)
working relationship was already fairly sketch prior to this recent
    make-up."

From my perspective, Grey's Anatomy is almost always far fetched.  :)
