I think you're right: Neal's father was a cop, and he grew up thinking his dad had died heroically in the line of duty, only finding out later he was actually a dirty cop. That fits the picture perfectly: the son idolizing his policeman dad.
Didn't know Beau Bridges would be back. His character has an interesting relationship with Burke. He brings a unique wrinkle to the plot that I like so I'm glad he's returning.
I'm more excited for this show in January than any other, including Supernatural. They left it at such an intense point. It appears the Elizabeth kidnapping will be cleared up within the first three episodes but I expect fall out for a lot longer than that. Excited that Bridges is back; not so much Sarah. I am surprised that Peter is going to the mat for Neal over his former mentor given the tense relationship between them.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
All looks great to me. Can't wait for it to start again.

ReplyDeleteMaybe it was him as a little boy, maybe he wanted to be a cop but choose the opposite in the end to fill a void
