  2. Best Drama - Brea... oh wait... WHAT? The award doesn't mean anything to me with no Breaking Bad involved.
Best Drama Actor - Bryan Cranston is the best, but Buscemi or Grammer will probably win.
Best Drama Actress - Hopefully, Claire Danes.
Best Comedy - Modern Family, as usual.
Best Comedy Actor - Wait... what? Galecki is in there but no Parson? What the... Anyway Baldwin or Duchovny should win.
Best Comedy Actress - One of the two Lauras.

  5. hard to remember to vote for who I think will win as opposed to who I would like to win.  Defintieyl different answers!

  6. Best New Drama is really a tough one. I guess "Boss" has no chance and "American Horror Story" won't make it either, also it is really great. I think Homeland will take the price home.

Actor: I voted for Bryan Cranston. He was just awesome again this season. But I think Damian Lewis has also a very good chance.

Actress: Kind of surprised to see Madeleine Stowe nominated, but that's great for her. Don't know why Mireille Enos is even nominated. I think and hope Claire Danes will win.

Comedy: Absolutly no idea. Glee shouldn't be on the list. I love the show, but they didn't really do something to get nominated.

  7. Don't understand why Breaking Bad isn't nominated either. The fourth season again was just brillant and topped itself again. Never seen such a great show that surprises me every single episode and never loses one bit of quality!

  8. Best Drama - Homeland (but ASH and not Breaking Bad? what the hell?)
Best Drama Actor - Bryan Craston, Breaking Bad
Best Drama Actress - Claire Danes, Homeland
Best Comedy - I mean. Where are Parks and Rec, Community, or Raising Hope, The Big C etc..? New Girl is the new Glee or what?
Best Comedy Actor - Alec Baldwin, 30 Rock (Galecki? seriously? and not Parsons?)
Best Comedy Actress - Fey, Poehler or Linney

  9. Homeland in the first 3 polls, Amy Poehler in the last one
didn't vote for the others due to lack of good nominations :P

  11. I didn't vote on who I think WILL win, I voted on who I think SHOULD win:
American Horror Story (only one I've seen)
Bryan Cranston (the last ten minutes of Crawl Space)
    Julianna Margulies (amazing actress)
    New Girl (it's hilarious)
Johnny Galecki (because Jim Parsons isn't on here)
Zooey Deschanel (best part of the show).

  12. I really really hope Mireille Enos wins, but I'm guessing it will be either Julianna Margulies or Claire Danes... Claire Danes is really good on Homeland, granted, but I think Enos is brilliant on The Killing!

  13. The only one here I even care about is that I'd like to see Galecki win for "The Big Bang Theory"--and maybe that I hope Zoey Deschanel does NOT win for "New Girl." Lord, I despise that show.

  14. Best Actor: Either Bryan Cranston or Damian Lewis. I think this is the first year where it's not a given that Cranston will win.
Best Actress: Either Claire Danes or Julianna Margulies. Both have perfect episodes to put forth, but I give the edge to Claire Danes, as she's playing a much more immersive and less subtle role.
Best Drama: Homeland or Game of Thrones...
Best Comedy Actor: My guess is Alec Baldwin
Best Comedy Actress: either Amy Poehler, Laura Dern, or Laura Linney (All three deserve all the awards for their awesome performances!)

  15. Who I want to win ? Game of Thrones, Bryan Cranston, Julianna Marguiles, Episodes, Matt LeBlanc, Amy Poehler, Peter Dinklage and Kelly MacDonald.

Now, who will win ? American Horror Story, Jeremy Irons, Callie Thorne, Glee, Johnny Galecki and Zooey Deschanel. That's the exact opposite of what I want, but I bet it'll be much closer to the actual results than my picks.

Seriously, I think Homeland is going to do really good, it's getting a lot of heat this fall (I haven't seen the show yet but I've read nothing but great things about Claire Danes, Damian Lewis and the show in itself).  I think Amy Poehler has a genuine shot to win, even if the two Lauras (both blondes, both Oscar nominated, both in their forties, both leads in cable dramedies which don't really intent to be funny) are definitely contenders to win, and I wouldn't mind if either of them won (especially Linney) but Parks and Rec is struggling ratings-wise and getting a Golden Globe would be a good thing.

  18. I haven't watched Homeland but will when it comes out on DVD. I'm sure Claire Danes is excellent, but I voted for Julianna Margulies. The only comedy shows I watch are Community, Parks and Rec., and Raising Hope and not any of those listed, so didn't vote. Didn't vote for comic actor because I'm tired of Alec Baldwin and don't watch the others. Amy Poehler FTW!

  19. Homeland sweeps the board for me, thou GoT is a very very close second.  These two new shows have become firm favourites very quickly :D

    Don't watch the comedies.

  25. I completely agree. I can laugh at most any sitcom.
Very few make me want to hit delete or stop watching. New Girl is one that does.

    New Girl for comedy.

  27. I see that I will not be watching the Golden Globes again.  Not a single network show for best drama or best drama actor.  I'm already less invested in the results.

  36. Isn't it funny that Boardwalk Empire is the only nominee in the Best Drama Category that ISN"T a brand new show?
