With 2012 rapidly approaching I though it was time to see which shows here at SpoilerTV were the most popular for 2011.
Note: The Popularity score is based on a calculation of Page Views, Video Plays, Poll Votes, Comments, Facebook Likes, Google+1's and Tweets.
Any shocks or surprises?
For me it's incredible that Once Upon A Time has made it into the Top 25 seeing that it's the only new that has made it onto the list. Testament to how popular the show has become on SpoilerTV. Also worth noting that Smallville made it into the Top 25 seeing how it ended earlier in the year.
Wow for OUAT! Hopefully next year it will be in the Top 10
ReplyDeleteAWESOME. Supernatural is number one this year? That makes me ridiculously happy~ <3
ReplyDeleteWow, to see OUAT in the top 25 when it only started this autumn is a huge surprise to me. Other than that no surprises really in the top shows.
ReplyDeleteWow I just realized looking at that list that I watch 18 of those 25 shows. Just goes to show how much tv I watch
ReplyDeleteFunny that The Big Bang Theory, one of the most popular shows at the moment, is nowhere to be seen...
ReplyDeleteYay for Supernatural!
ReplyDeleteNow just have to wait for Peoples' Choice Awards to see if they won Favorite Network Drama and Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy Show! I'm keeping my fingers crossed...
Not bad for The Vampire Diaries at #4 although seeing Gossip Girl at #3 was a little surprising.
Pretty Little Liars at #14 is great. It's one of my guilty pleasures on TV and it has a really good plot, even though it can get too thick at times and give you a headache if you spend too much time pondering over the endless possibilities of who the stalker really is.
As for Once Upon A Time, it is the hottest new TV show of the season and it definitely earned its spot on this list, albeit at #25 - a notable feat nonetheless as it is the only new show which made the list.
woohoo! supernatural at the top. after all our long discussions and debates this year, i would have been surprised if it wasnt number one
ReplyDeleteit's really weird!
ReplyDeletelol and I thought my 14 were insane XDDDD you beat me!!
ReplyDeleteThanks very interesting
ReplyDeleteIf only Gossip Girl would do so well with the ratings too.
ReplyDeleteNice to see "Supernatural" at the top, where it should be. And "How I Met Your Mother," representing the CBS Monday night comedies, makes sense too. What surprises me a bit is that, "The Big Bang Theory," isn't also here somewhere.
ReplyDeleteI only watch 4 of these. Glad to see The Good Wife is getting consideration.
ReplyDeleteThis is pretty awesome! :D I'm not surprised in the slightest by Supernatural haha
ReplyDeleteFringe's SpoilerTV's rank and the ratings are totally not matching. its sucks. It is one of the best shows that been in TV, but yet the rating is poor. I think all the hiatus and Fox moving it to friday... it's like Fox got gold and treat it like a stone.
ReplyDeleteI only watch 3 of these top 25, lol. Most of the shows I do watch like Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy and Who just aren't that popular here :(
ReplyDeleteAwesome! And yay for OUAT!
ReplyDeleteSupernatural no 1. hell yaa!!!
ReplyDeletei'm happy for H50 and NCIS!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing Once Upon a Time in the Top 25, especially as a new show! I think they've earned it. I'm even HAPPIER to see Supernatural on top.. if nothing else, they have a very dedicated fan base :)
ReplyDeleteI am not a huge television watcher, with work, school, and my writing, the time just isn't there. but to see my favorite show, Supernatural in 1st place makes me feel good. Hawaii Five-O made the 25. I see that Vampire Diaries made 4th. Jared Padalecki has a good friend who stars on Fringe and he watches the show, so I am glad it made 2nd. One of these days, I'll start buying the DVD's and watch it. All in all, I'm pleased
ReplyDeleteI only watch 9 of these shows. Do I feel good or bad about this? Hmmm...
ReplyDeleteI knew Super would be #1,but in my heart Fringe is #1 i love that show....I was surprised it see where GG placed i thought it would have be Castle or H5-0.....Knew Once would make it,just wait till next year i think it will place much higher.Unless it somehow tanks i think it will be in the top 5,we will see!
ReplyDelete17 for me! oh man....
ReplyDeleteSupernatural ;) number 1 , that´s incredible ;)
ReplyDeleteSo all our 'civilized discussion' on the Supernatural threads has led us to number 1 most popular show on SpoilerTV? :)
ReplyDeleteThis clearly shows what a fantastic community we have here. All the SPN fans who get tired of the flaming, brother wars, and negativity on other sites end up here. Thanks Andy for providing refuge from the insanity!
Yay for Supernatural! :D
ReplyDeleteI wouldv'e liked to have seen Fringe at #1 but number 2 is just as good! You can't get everything on your Christmas list I suppose...
ReplyDeleteCastle at #6! This works for me...I'm just glad that its in the top 10! :D
ReplyDeleteFringe!!!
ReplyDelete21 for me i beat you
ReplyDeleteCool House, Castle and OUAT
ReplyDeleteYay for Fringe, Castle and OUAT!!!
ReplyDeleteFringe has some awesome die-hard fans!!!
ReplyDeleteWOW I am really happy supernatural is no1 that is soo soo great I really love this show.
ReplyDeleteMe, too.
ReplyDeleteI watch 13 shows on the list
ReplyDeletePreaching to the choir
ReplyDeleteIf it does get cancelled, maybe another network would pick it up, NBC definitely needs a show with a hardcore following or CBS (they do have the better relationship with JJ)
ReplyDeleteGOSSIP GIRL - UK FAN
ReplyDeleteIt sure does! :)
ReplyDeleteAll my favs on Top 25..So glad to see ..
ReplyDeleteWhy is Castle not first?
ReplyDeleteBecause it's not as popular here as the shows above it.
ReplyDeleteYay Fringe!!! We have to keep it up people, we might just get a 5th season!
ReplyDeleteI only watch 5 shows on TV right now. And 4 of them are on the list. Fringe and Chuck (my favorites!). Glee and Gossip Girl (unfortunatly, 2 shows I do not like as much as before).
ReplyDeleteMaybe I'll start to watch #1, Supernatural. I'm kinda sure that I would like it.
Awesome my 3 favorite shows are in the top 5! Supernatural, Fringe & Vampire Diaries! Pretty awesome! Now lets just hope these shows don't get canceled anytime soon.
ReplyDeleteWow I didnt expect Supernatural to come in first but thank god it did, I love that show. Nice to see Vampire Diaries made it, though I thought it would come before Gossip Girl, but guess I was wrong.
ReplyDeleteYAY for Fringe!!!!
ReplyDeletean some yay for Gossip Girl - The Vampire Diaries - Grey's Anatomy - Castle - House - Glee - Bones - True Blood - How I Met Your Mother - The Walking Dead - Private Practice - Once Upon a Time
I watch a lot of tv--
smallville i miss that show
ReplyDeleteNo Dexter :( although i watch 5 in the top 10 so nearly perfect :)
ReplyDeleteBy the end of 2012 the walking dead will be #1
ReplyDeleteEveryone <3's Shane <3 <3
