Not as powerful as the ending of Children of Earth. Jane Espenson is not Russell T Davies and I really hope he'll be back if the show is renewed. Really disappointed by Jane Espenson work.
Still isn't up to par w/the British version. Captain Jack isn't just gay but bi in the show. Come on just get w/the program. Please. I want my old Captain Jack back.
Just because the setting has changed doesn't change who's responsible for the content. RT Davies is still the person at the helm as always. It's his story and he oversees the episodic content.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Can't wait
ReplyDeletefinally the story seems to be moving along
ReplyDeleteThe ending of that last one was terribly disturbing.
ReplyDeleteyes you can
ReplyDeleteInteresting... this is a different promo than the one that aired in Canada tonight. I'd heard that SPACE is airing the UK version on Saturdays though.

ReplyDeleteThis IS the British version of Torchwood.

Why we're not Friday yet ?
ReplyDeleteStill, it has been lacking something the previous series had storywise...
ReplyDeleteThat may very well be so. My point is that, good or bad, RT Davies and his writers get the credit. Saying it's "too American" is just scapegoating.
