  1. These  are cool.  Now, the only thing that would make it perfect is if the system could keep track of our votes and autogenerate a score card at the end of the season.  :-D

  2. that would be wonderful to have! :)

  3. I think that most of the series will be renewed

  4. Sorry Fringe's fan but there a lot of possibility for Fringe to be cancelled. How can the 70% of people think that will be renewed?

I think that House, Fringe risks. I hate my teenager daughter too. The finder will be a modest hit, New girl and Terra Nova will get great ratings.

  5. Most will be renewed (even Fringe) but...

Cancelled:HouseI Hate MY Teenage DaughterTerra  Nova (I would have said pulled early, but I think FOX will try to recoup as much money as possible by airing everything they have complete.)Freshman Renewals:The FinderThe New Girl

  6. I hope The New Girl and Alcatraz are gonna be awesome. So if they are..I hope they're gonna be renewed. House's gonna be cancelled because they announced it's the last season. Wonder how they're going to fill the void next year.

  7. Alcatraz, Bones, Family Guy, Fringe, Glee, House, Terra Nova and The Simpsons - renewed. The rest cancelled with the new shows among them possibly being pulled early.

  8. saw Alcatraz and Terra Nova pilots... I don't think that Alcatraz has a future and Terra Nova will only be renewed to justify his cost and the time they took to prepare/film/ release it

House lives its last moments... the end of Bones is programmed, Fringe has the favors of the network, the critics and some devoted fans...

and for the anime shows... well, they know the recipe to have a long and happy TV life

no opinion yet on The new Girl (wondering if they can keep the genuine thing during few episodes...) Finder (too much persons already hate it without seeing one episode)

    Raising hope has great chances....

  9. If Terra Nova is to have a chance, it will have to find a different time slot.

  10. lysiane, where did you see the pilots. I'd love to discuss some things with you if you like. You can contact me on darkufo@spoilertv.com

  11. renewed: The simpsons (but I might be the only person in the world who doesn't like it...), Terra nova, Glee (although last season was :/), Fringe , Alcatraz and Bones
    cancelled: the Finder, House

  12. Maybe I'm being hopefully optimistic here, but I'm hoping for Fringe to get renewed...

  13. Fringe renewed. House is a different question, will have to wait and see.

  14. I think Fringe and Alcatraz will be renewed, House cancelled !

  15. Apparently I'm not as positive on the outlook of 2-3 shows as everyone else, but mostly my votes added up.

  16. Terra Nova canceled and Alcatraz renewed. At least in my opinion.
Also I think that both Fringe and House will end this year.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Because Fox said that as long as it performs as well as it did last season they'll be happy. While that doesn't mean it will be renewed for sure it is certainly something to be optimistic about.

Personally, I'm not really worried about cancellation as long as they plan for it to go either way and write accordingly.

  18. For me Fringe deserves at least one more season...

  19. Renewed :

    - Fringe : see the reasons why below.
    - Bones : the renewal is pretty obvious.
    - Glee : I still don't get why this show is successful, but it is, there's no denying, season 4 is a sure thing.

    - Raising Hope : I fear the ratings might be slighter inferior to last year and New Girl's, but enough though.
    - Cleveland Show & American Dad are already renewed ; The Simpsons & Family Guy have nothing to fear.

    - New Girl : everyone likes Zooey Deschanel and it airs right after Glee, it will be a hit.
    - Terra Nova : huge international sales + a family show with dinos at 8 + Spielberg + profitability : renewal.
    - Touch : there's Kiefer Sutherland, the pilot is getting positive buzz, I think FOX will want to go on with it.

    Cancelled :

    - House : all signs point towards season 8 being the last one.
    - The Finder : will act as a temporary replacement for Bones' short season, that's the reason it was picked up.

    Pulled early :

    - I Hate my Teenage Daughter : it starts on Nov 23 but it'll manage to get axed.
    - Alcatraz : I want this show to be good but I don't have a good feeling + the timeslot is tough (Mon 9pm).

I think FOX will make some changes in their mid-season schedule : frankly, I'm not sure Alcatraz will stay on Mondays at 9pm - which is the
toughest timeslot of the week with Thurs/9pm. Before the May
upfronts, I always thought Alcatraz would be paired up with Fringe on
    Fridays. It's a JJ Abrams-produced sci-fi show at 9 on Mondays : The
Voice, Ashton Kutcher and DWTS will crush it. It'll be like Dollhouse,
FOX will realize the show doesn't have what it takes to be a hit (it's a
sci-fi show, for starters). On the other hand, I think FOX will want to put Kiefer
Sutherland back to Mondays/9pm after House, 24 was successful in this
timeslot for years. Sure, Touch has some sci-fi elements in it, but
    there's The Kief' too.

    * ---> The reasons why Fringe will be renewed (aside from the fact that it is an outstanding show) :

    - Episode 4.22 will be the 87th, every show needs at least 88 episodes to go to syndication (= $$$).
    - Kevin Reilly (FOX entertainment president) is a fan of Fringe.
    - FOX executives don't expect season 4 to have higher ratings than s3, if they stay the same it'll be okay.
    - The network is aware there is a huge following behind the show, a devoted fanbase on the Internet.
    - FOX doesn't have many critically acclaimed shows aside from Fringe.
    - House is likely to end in May and some Glee cast members will stop
recurring on the show after season 3, so I like to believe FOX will want
to have a stable, reliable returning drama aside from Bones for
    2012/13.

  20. Fox will have the best season out of all the networks.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I love that the majority of people have said Fringe/Alcatraz/Terra Nova will be renewed. I would love for that to be true, but I don't like Fringe's chances and most reviews of Alcatraz have been lukewarm.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Optimistically Voted Renewed for fringe, cant see it been pulled early FOX likes it too much

    ReplyDelete
  23. This won't be a good year for FOX.  Nothing will get pulled early but there will be plenty of cancellations:

    Terra Nova
    Alcatraz
    House
    I Hate My Teenage Daughter
    Fringe

(Disclaimer:  The fact that I believe they will be canceled does not necessarily indicate a dislike on my part for these programs.  I would be more than happy to see both Alcatraz and Terra Nova to succeed and for Fringe to get its final, fifth season.)

    ReplyDelete
  24. The way I see it, Terra Nova is either going to be a HUGE flop or a HUGE hit. It can go either way at this point and I am hoping that it becomes a hit. The show looks both good and ambitious and I am looking forward to seeing it.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Sure bets - Glee and Simpsons renewed.  One I'm most pulling for - Raising hope renewed.  It's one of the funniest shows around.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Terra Nova will be a success or a huge failure.  I don't see it having a middle ground.  I am betting on success and renewal.  I too am unsure about Fringe.  Quite frankly it was a miracle that it was renewed this year, which points to Warner Brothers selling it fairly cheap to get to syndication numbers.  I'm not sure if that can happen again.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I think it will have less to do with ratings and more to do with how low Warner Brothers can sell it.  It is unlikely that the ratings will rise or stay steady in terms of ratings history, but I think that Fringe has a really good chance to stay above the drop mark and have slightly smaller numbers than last year.

    ReplyDelete
  28. That would leave them with only 7 hours of programming plus their reality TV.  I think they will need to hold on to more than that or FOX will become all reality TV.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I'm not a fan of the Simpsons either but it does have longevity.  At this point I can see the Simpsons going on far longer than I will.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Your greatest argument for a Fringe renewal is the 87th episode for me.  I thought this year brought it through 88 but if it doesn't then WB has a lot of incentive to offer it very cheap.  I'm kind of surprised that Fringe doesn't have a 23 episode season this year to be honest though.

    ReplyDelete
  31. When counting their reality shows, I would agree - no question.  If talking just scripted numbers, that will go to CBS again.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I agree that the voting seems to be more wishful thinking and reflect which shows people want to be renewed.  Of the 3, I'd say only 1 goes forward.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I am really not a Family Guy and Simpsons fan.  I would really like to see them cancelled.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I think Fringe will get a shortened season 5 to get to syndication, like Chuck. Also, House will get the ax.
