    they slept together once, and we didn't even see anything close to them going to sleep together besides some cuddling maybe. I'm stil frustrated about that... the show honestly lost ALOT of points with me in the finale with that alot! 

    come on really, not even like the oh 'walking up the stairs scene' or like with feaux/peter on fringe, you know what follows so when shes pregs your not to shocked. But here nothing. 

    in regards to the clip: cute, he'll be funny...I like hodgins but it all seems repetitive, we just went through this bones pregnancy stuff with angela so not new! 

    and yeah i know its all bc Emily's pregers but really come on, they could find another and better way to do it. 

    sorry for the rant but really... its true.

    ... but Angela's reaction to what Bones told her was pretty obvious, imo. No need to see any action if you get this kind of reaction from Angela.

    I don't mind that they wrote the pregnancy into the show, especially since I'm hoping for some cute scenes with Parker, maybe, and also because Bones herself being pregnant is absolutely different than Bones' best friend being pregnant.
    Which doesn't mean that I don't agree on some of it being repetitive ... I hope they'll find their way around that though so it doesn't actually seem like that.

    I'm not saying it won't be a good thing in the end. I just think, personally, it was bad story-telling. We never would have known they even slept together if it hadn't been brought up later.

    We see them, emotionally devastated, hugging in bed. The next thing we know Bones is all smiles and she's pregnant. Whatever happened to "show don't tell"? What's next? We fade out after the baby is born and then we find out they got married while we weren't looking?

    I understand that we weren't going to get some steamy sex scene but a hug? Really? You don't want your audience to feel like they missed out on the story while the show was on commercial.

    I like how they did it subtlety though. During the mini- memorial for Vincet I like how she looped her arm through his and laid her head on his shoulder or even in the season finale how they were acting at the diner with her father.
