British actress Gugu Mbatha-Raw, the breakout star of J.J. Abrams' short-lived NBC spy dramedy Undercovers, has landed the female lead opposite Kiefer Sutherland in the Fox drama pilot Touch, written by Tim Kring.

    I hated her on Undercovers, but that likely had a lot to do with the terrible writing and sappy plot. This makes me a bit more dubious of the project, but I will reserve judgement until I see her in Touch and not judge her solely on Undercovers.

    Everyone was awful on Undercovers, not just her.  When that happens you know its the writing and direction.

    Summer Glau shoud have been cast for the role.
    She’s beautiful, humble, talented and a little geeky.

    Summer Glau is an amazing actress, unfortunately she was underused in The Cape. I hope one day she gets a show that’s awesome and doesn’t get cancelled. She deverves that much, such a talented actress.
