Jaime is one of my favorite roles on the series. That says quite a bit since in the first book he was almost an afterthought and in no way one of the characters I liked most... if at all.
I think Emilia's done a fairly good job, adequate at least. I agree that sometimes subtlety has been lacking in her performance, but it's hard to find a young actress that can provide the complex layers that the Daenerys role needed to truly bring the character to life. Without the Dany's inner dialog, I think it was almost impossible to capture the Daenerys character arc from the book. So I may be judging her performance unfairly.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Nikolaj is so cool. Hands down of the best piece of the cast. Emilia is fine too, but I found her to be more good-looking than a good actress.
