How I Met Your Mother - Casting News - Martin Short joins cast

Martin Short (Damages) will appear in a recurring, multi-episode role during the next season of How I Met Your Mother.

Short will play Marshall's new boss at the head of an environmental law firm. Dave Foley played that part in the season 6 finale but his new sitcom How to Be a Gentleman has been picked up by CBS, making him unavailable.

How I Met Your Mother returns this fall on Mondays at 8/7c with a 1-hour premiere.
