  1. I wasn't going to watch Being Human (US) until the UK version ended, but insomnia intervened. The first couple episodes were basically scene for scene rehashes, but the last couple episodes the US version has really put their own twist on things! I find now I am actually enjoying the US version more than the UK's. I guess I like the darker direction and the more understated nerdiness of Josh compared to George's hyperactive spas. Plus I am connecting to the characters more in the US version. Maybe its a cultural thing being I'm from the USA.

Enjoyed the glowing ghost writing... It added that spooky effect to the scenery at a low cost. Loved the bedwetter scent mockery! Was an interesting twist on the werewolf look... I think I dug it, but need a better look. The last 2 or 3 episodes have drawn me into these characters themselves and separated them from th UK for me...maybe it's just me. Or the fact there is enough change in the story I do not find myself directly comparing... or maybe it's just my memory and I don't recall the similarities. Either way this was a great episode! :)

  2. Josh really needs to ask the big question - "Are you a dog person?" Ruff ruff! Growwwwwllllll- I really love this show! And nice seeing that the mom across the street is Lisa from Supernatural - she can't get away from vamps can she?

  3. Let's just hope for Josh's sake that a Bob Barker fan doesn't get a hold of Josh on a full moon! *SNIP*

  5. I started to watch this on show on a whim and I am really enjoying it. I have never watched the UK version but darq your comment about Josh compared to George's "hyperactive spas" made me laugh out loud. I think Josh is a total "hyperactive nerdy spas" all the time. Sometime it is annoying.

The promo for next week looks great.

This has turned into must see television for me, and Bendy Lisa from SPN did not hurt that at all. Dean or Aiden - yes please to both. ;)

  6. This version is beginning to grow on me as well as grow into its own identity. I like that some of the plot points that are coming from the UK version are being given time to be fleshed out, rather than being rushed through to get tied up in one episode. I think this element is the main reason that this show has begun to grow on me so much.

Really liked this latest ep but I have to ding it because I really really really hate the werewolf design. I am not a fan of werewolves that look (and/or move) like monkeys (Oz on Buffy a time or two) nor to I like werewolves that don't have hair. They should still look like wolves not be morphed so close to the edge of the definition that it looks like a completely different creature all together. I want to be able to look at it and think WOLF! Completely subjective personal opinion but there ya go!

The actors a growing on me quite a lot as well. (Even the young woman playing Annie, who impressed me the least in the pilot.) What did make me laugh is that after so many fans posted about the US production trying to make Mark Pellegrino's (Bishop) hair look like Herrick's

(spoiler alert about the UK version !!! --

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzHerrick returns without most of his hair!)
