  1. Freaking loved it! The beginning with Worried, Overprotective, and Crying!Dean was adorable. And I love Lisa and Ben and I love Dean/Lisa, so the montage was cute and I'm sad they won't be together anymore. But at least we got closure! And Ben hit puberty! And I'm still convinced he is Dean's son!

Also, thank God the Impala! That was a pretty terrifying commercial break. Poor Metallicar keeps getting wrecked!

And the end and the cuteness!

  2. Highly disturbing. The best part was the conversation at the end.

  3. I have a headache now from the fake people but otherwise, the episode was okay. Not sure what the whole Dean/Lisa montage was (didn't really feel very SPN to me) but otherwise it wasn't a bad episode. So excited for next weeks though it's not even funny! O.o lol

  4. :P Love that episode....ok..not awesome, but I still love it.

Especially the ''I have your back'' from Sam, since Sam-thing said that in Live free or twi-hard and Dean was all sad....and Sam is the one saying that and Dean was smiling this time...I wonder if he was smiling cause he remember that too^^

  5. That's exactly what I was thinking - made it one of the best end-conversations of all-time in my opinion.

  6. I really liked this episode. Which is nothing new on my part. Love that Sam and Dean are getting back to being brothers. The mannequins freaked me out. I felt bad for the sister though. I wish Rose had gotten all the idiots that messed with her.

  7. OMG, that episode was so awful! It made Third Man and Bugs look great, though. Nothing interesting - not the mannequins storyline, and certainly not the Lisa/Ben/Dean storyline (if you can call it that). I've never been a fan of that, but I thought I would at least get an "awww" moment in it. Instead they really played up the soap opera angle, especially with the flashback scenes. Filler is too kind a word. For the first time I was really wishing I had watched Fringe instead.

  8. absolutely awesom. I loved it. My heart is breaking for Dean, torn up into little pieces and lying on the floor of the Impala. Ben couldn't have cut him more if he'd used the demon blade and Dean believes he has to go to save Ben from becoming just like him, (like that's a bad thing but that angst and self-doubt combined with his ability to majorly kick ass is one of the things that makes him the Dean we know and love) And Sammy is back to being the guy we loved, the one Dean could trust , the one with a heart. Oh this episode stays on the DVR until S6 comes out on DVD

  9. lisa so lied. Ben is Dean's son. It's there in everything about the kid.

    That was GOOOOOOOOOOOD!

I loved that it ended with a nice bother moment like they used to!

I was hoping to have a more finished story for Lisa and Ben though. I just want that to be done with. It ruins he Sam, Dean story for me. They are a team, they need to hunt so I just can’t get behind Lisa, the whole thing irritates me becaue that is NOT what Supernatural was about, it is about Sam and Dean saving people, hunting things, the family bussiness.

Other then that though I did really like the episode. It was a ghost hunt like the old days. Sam and Dean were very caring towards each other like the old days.

And it ened with a brother moment like the old days! We need that in every episode PLEASE!

Oh and next weeks ep looks so funny!

  11. It's character development, showing us that Dean has accepted he is never going to have that white picket fence life and believing he has to stay out of their lives to save them, especially save Ben from being in the life. Lisa can't handle Dean in the life and Dean can't leave it. But if he stays in Ben's life Ben will become a hunter and Dean doesn't want that for him. So he sacrifices what he wants most because he has finally accepted that he is not just IN the life, he IS the life. Being a hunter isn't what he does it is who he is but it doesn't have to be who Ben is.

  12. Ahhh makes sense I suppose. I think it was the cutesy music that through me off :)

  13. Hey guys! It's Dahne. Anyone have a streaming site I can go to tonight? I missed the first half. There's a site I've used a couple of times but it's not on my laptop and FB is screwing with me so I can't pull up the link there.

  14. I LOVED it so much. It's freaking crazy. And the part with Lisa and ben AW! My heart was crying (cause yeah I wasnt so proud of me for that) but then Ben said that he and lisa were his family or what ever and i di cry but it was the end! ANY WAY IT WAS GREAT and the mannequin creeped me out so much

  15. omg when the car was going to hit the wall I was screaming NO lol.

And yeah loved Ben and Dean/Lisa it was perfect. But I thought it was a bit weird that it stoped after ben told him... gosh the cute thing he said.... what ever you know what i mean

  16. An ok episode, moved the story along and offered some closure but so heartbreaking! Tearjerker from the get go with Dean crying over Sam's body. Loved how the sisters were so close to each other (just like the brothers) wonder if that was on purpose? Teared up at the Dean/Ben scene...I really like Lisa and Ben but it just won't work with the dynamics of the show. Poor Dean, he's just having a shitty season 6 - even with his brother's soul intact. Think besides the Dean flashback to AHBL1, the Ben/Dean/Lisa tearjerker the sisters really had me in tears too. But Sam can handle the the wall cracking and doing his job while said wall is cracking so that's something good.

So an ok episode...heavy on the emotions, we now know Sam can handle his own, and that Ben is SO Dean's kid ;)

    ReplyDelete
  17. Talking about AHBK,,,,,the opening scene of this episode....it was reminding me SO MUCH of AHBL 2

    Am I crazy?^^;

  18. I really hated the montage, to ... i dunno, cliché I guess. It was okay for me in the finale of s5 but.... argh i really dont like romantic montage. And i thought there was a little thing missing with the lisa ben story line, cause obviously the point was to close it officialy but he left at a point that you ould think it would be reopen... dont know if i make sense right now im too excited for French mistake to thing and write corretly lol

  19. wow good ahaha, scared it was just me

  20. So let's see, we had killer mannequins and a woman named Rose. Was this an homage to Doctor Who? The first episode of 2005 had Rose and The Doctor on the run from killer mannequins. Oh we even had a "doctor" in Lisa's new boyfriend. In Doctor Who they played it as campy comedy and I think the episode worked better. The suspense in this did not work as well for me.... mannequins are just not scary.

Nice to see a little closure to Lisa and Ben, but not enough for me. Not wanting the son to get involved in the "hunter" life.. Hmmmm... Haven't we seen this somewhere before? I know it saves money, but I loathe flashback montages with music to show emotions or loss.

Nice to have snarky Dean make an appearance since he was conspicuous in his absence last week. Even if the snark was still too light in this episode! Some better than last week, but still nowhere near the top echelon of SPN episodes.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I thought it was great - not outstanding - but great.
Sam wasn't out of it too long after his seizure ....but it was real scary for a few minutes there....
Sam and Dean hunting together.....just like old times...
    Dean 'molesting' the anatomy dummy....
Dean leaving Sam, and Sam doing ok on his own....
Ben telling Dean exactly how it is....good on you Ben for laying it on the line like that (and great acting Nicholas)
So glad they seem to have got the Lisa thing out of the way. I like Lisa but I know there was no future and no real place for her long term.
I'm a bit sad that it probably means the end for Dean and Ben too.... they obviously have a real attachment to each other :(
Haunted Impala chasing poor Dean.....and him having to deliberately make her crash..... :( poor baby
I found the mannequins kinda scary - especially the last one - but I think that was as much to do with the creepy guy talking to it as anything...
And the brotherly talk at the end was just awesome...Sam telling Dean he's got his back and really meaning it.....loooooooved it.....all in all I'm happy.....(except poor Dean :( - but we always knew he and Lisa were doomed so it is what it is)

  22. It was right there with Bugs I agree. Better overall episode with the B-plots, but still at best a middling episode for SPN.

    ReplyDelete
  23. God, I loved this episode so much more than I thought I would. So surprising...even the story of the week was outstanding... The effects are above average, the humor and references were hilarious, and I was happy to see Lisa and Ben. It seems as though Ben also has the bullshit-detector his mother has. This episode is one of the best of the season, easily.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I could've done without the montage, but I cherished the scenes with Ben, and I still think Lisa is a realistic character female character that this show seems to lack overall...

    ReplyDelete
  25. I just want your opinion on last week's episode.
Did you love or hate last week's episode?

    ReplyDelete
  26. Completely agree that of the females in this series, she is one of the very few realistic characters.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Loved Unforgiven. It was an old-fashioned monster hunt story written in a different/creative style for Supernatural. I elaborated more in a comment on Dahne's review, if you're interested. In that case it was a new monster and a different story-telling story, and it also moved forward one of the bigger storylines which was Sam's state of mental health post soul reinstatement.

On this one I found the mannequin storyline boring. It was reminiscent of season 1 ghost stories and had no connection to the monster-mother theme of season 6 from what I can tell. The Dean/family scenes were horribly corny - everything from the flashbacks to the music, and Dean and Lisa have already broken up multiple times now. It didn't move anything forward. I hate to say it, but trashing the Impala was the highlight of the episode.

    ReplyDelete
  28. thanks so much for your advice.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Know what you mean and agree with you, but it still sounds so wrong to call trashing the Impala a "highlight"!

    ReplyDelete
  30. I love the Impala. It was just one of the few moments that I cared about what was going on.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I liked this ep much better than last week. I like how they don't wrap everything up into a pretty little bow each ep. The case was done, but like Sam said, they're not counting this one in the win column. The Winchesters' lives are crappy. It's their lot in life. Every tiny bit of happiness they have comes at a price. I didn't get any real sense of closure with Lisa and Ben. Dean left, but what was resolved? I loved that Ben called him out on leaving his family, although I can understand Dean's desire to leave them to a normal, happy life. He knows he can't be a part of it, and sacrifice is the Winchester way.

I liked the case. The mannequins were downright creepy. I'll never go into an Old Navy store again. :) And the haunted kidney? That's a twist. What could be a good way to handle that? I do have a question, tho. How did the sister get stabbed with the glass? I'll have to watch it again because I missed it. She didn't seem to be anywhere near the broken window, but then I was busy chuckling at Dean running from Baby, so I probably just didn't see how it happened. It was too bad, tho. She was innocent in all that. It was sad they couldn't find a way to save her.

I applaud the writers for allowing Dean to make a mature decision about Lisa and Ben. As he tried to explain to Ben, with him there was only one road. And even tho I'm not sure he really believes he's all bad news, he knows Ben deserves a better chance in life and wants to give it to him. He's not leaving his family, he's protecting them the only way he knows how. Unfortunately, there's no good answer to their problems. And Sam also made a mature decision -- to actually listen to caution and not scratch that wall no matter how much he wanted to atone for RoboSam mistakes. Once look at Hell is apparently enough to drive that point home. Don't push it, Sam.

All in all, a good episode in my book. Next week looks pretty humorous. I was kind of uncertain about the meta ep, but from what I've seen, I think they just may pull it off.

  32. The episode wasn't like EPIC but it did cover some ground and I NEVER regret watching SPN, good, bad, cliche, its what makes my TGIF mantra nowadays. Okay, so I screamed 'WINCEST' at the beginning, sexy!protective!almost to the verge of tears!Dean had me rubbing my hands together in anticipation. Hm, I seem to prefer Dean's version of his hell flashbacks. At least he look utterly traumatized and broken-ish, Sam's sooo...unreadable I guess. So he gets over the week of hell flashbacks that happened in like 2 minutes with only a headache. My fav moment was when Dean grabs the heart from the dummy and says 'Be my valentine' and to Sam's reply, 'Have a heart' lol Aww Dean.

When Ben told him about Lisa's strange behavior my first immediate thought was 'holy shit she might be in trouble' then I was like 'But he can't leave now *pout'

I don't understand Dean and Lisa's relationship, I guess they tried to justify it with the video montage of their year together but seriously I was just waiting for them to cut to Sam's scene again. Ben and Dean's relationship is believable and rather touching. John should've had a young kid called Ben lol (*Adam who)

The girl with a possessed kidney dies (*smh) but not before Dean almost gets run over by his baby. 'Son of a bitch!' hehehehe. His love for his impala stands true :) Super awesome brotherly moment at the end, wow, these seem to happen a lot around the impala hmm. If Supernatural were a novel I did in Lit we'd probably be analyzing the impala as symbol of unity and family togetherness and blah, blah....

The next episode now....OMG! I read about this happening but I just thought it was a rumor! How hell is this gonna go down??!!?? Sam and Dean as Jared and Jensen hmmm.....!!!! Where do they come with this stuff? I'M SO EXCITED. I wonder if they get to dress like Jared and Jensen too lol, get em outta those stuffy jackets and into black V neck shirts, black leather jackets and sunglasses. The Padackles show :)

  33. Just rewatched and decided it's growing on me.....

  34. The only redeeming thing about this episode was the promo at the end.
    That's it.

OK, I'll admit that there were some funny parts here and there (no more than the average episode) and a couple creepy shots of mannequins but overall just a bunch of wasted potential and retreading.

This is the first episode in a LONG time to actually really bore me.

    ReplyDelete
  35. You know I was thinking, Sam might be handling it now, but you know when he told Dean he was fine he was straight up lying. You could see it in his eyes. Sam's never been able to lie properly to Dean. Dean knew it too, but he chose not to push Sam because Dean knows. Sam will speak in his own time. I just don't think Sam is ready to talk about Hell or deal with it. I think he's just pushing it down and focusing on his job. He still wants to fix his mistakes while soulless as well. He told Dean he'd stop, but I don't think he will. Sam might be able to handle his own right now, but for how long truthfully? How long until it starts affecting him to the point of where he does need to open up and talk to his big brother about it?

    ReplyDelete
  36. I'm with you on this: I sort of wished that I had watched Fringe this week. (But for all I know that episode might have been sup-par as well!)

    ReplyDelete
  37. I loved Unforgiven as well.
And the Impala scene was fun.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I don't know, mannequins can be creepy... they could have made this one really scary, and I probably would have liked it a lot more. Or, they could have really amped up the cheese factor, and I probably would have liked it more. The problem is, is that I felt like they tried to do a bit of both, but failed on both accounts: the montages and music just felt out of place instead of overly cheesy...

    ReplyDelete
  39. I felt it was slow too. It started and I was expecting a great episode... then the middle dragged until the Impala attack. I appreciated having a little more humor than last episode, but overall I felt it was a sub par episode too.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I just have to know why it is whenever one brother is clutching the other's jacket, or checking for a pulse or crying for the other or over the other's dead body, or hugging it's automatically Wincest. I mean really? It is no different than what any other brother or sister would do for their sibling if put into the same situation. I have epilepsy and there had been a few times I'd seized when I'd been by myself with my sister. When I woke up my head was in her lap and she was stroking my forehead, so that automatically screams incest? I mean wtf.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Completely agree that it was not scary enough or campy enough and fell flat because they split the difference.

I hate musical montages in most cases and this one did feel out of place to me too. Like they did not originally have it in the episode, watched the "finished episode" and felt they needed to show more of how much Dean cared for Lisa and Ben. Then they rushed to make this montage...It felt thrown together and broke the flow of the episode for me.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Ok if you are just going to complain about how i should have watched the Fringe instead why not ?. You are not a true , i liked it but you know you get good and bad episodes in every season . If you would rather watch a cow that watches telly lol then be my guest . And for the fringe its in danger of being canceled so just shows you supernatural still has it .

    ReplyDelete
  43. OMG I am so sick of some people on here . Frist they complain they want to see Lisa more , then they want moments with Dean and Lisa . Then when they get them they are like still not happy. May i raise the fact that Supernatural is about Sam,Dean,Bobby e.g family. It has always been about blood . They cant have relationships . Dean wanted so badly to have a family but its true Ben would have grown up a hunter and Dean loves him to much to do that . I thought this was a good good episode . For you people who hated it fair enough , but please please stop saying one thing then another. We all are in titled to our opinion's, but thats just being A. Not a fan of the show B. lame . Dont anybody take offence at this if you have said you hated it , its just people i have saw saying one thing then not happy when they get it.x

    ReplyDelete
  44. Well that was unnecessary... and nonsensical.
    a) "True Fan" ? Really?
    b) There was really no need to insult Fringe, and by describing it as a show with "a cow that watches telly" proves that you have MAYBE seen the pilot, and are therefore in no position to judge the show, or take a condescending tone.
    c) So if you think that ratings are a direct reflection of quality, then American Idol is the best show on TV right now?
    d) It wasn't the fact that "i should have watched the Fringe instead" it was just to prove that this was a really sub-par episode, and in retrospect was not really worth the time. It was just a reflection on this episode and in no way will change my (and I don't think I'm alone on this) viewing habits.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Just to clarify, I am in no way saying that you are not entitled to believe that this episode was great.

    ReplyDelete
  46. This is true. Except, in the first scene, when the anatomy dummy moved his eyes...that creeped me out.

    ReplyDelete
  47. got distracted by the promo. Awesome!

I really liked that ep....except for the Lisa and Dean and Ben shall never be push. Liked the ghost. (My brain is still skittering away from the sex doll scene. :-D )

Wow Ben nailed Dean right in the heart. :-) "You're running out on your family." Go Kid.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Not a great episode but much better than last week's.

    ReplyDelete
  49. The difference between the two montages is that, you're right, that Lisa/Dean montage was pointless. The montage at the end of season 5 drove that moment in the story.

One of my biggest problems with the scenes between Lisa....well all three characters was that it felt like they (the writers) were trying to hedge their bets. Every time Dean was asked a question that would have provided a definitive statement on Deans part...they cut away. It felt like they wanted to leave themselves room to revisit it all and start the couple up again.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Atrocious! Worst Episode Ever! Anyone who made that episode needs to be hit upside the head with a metal glove!

There were some great parts but they were ruined by montages and horrible music/score or loud thumbing noises or CGI!

    The mannequin wielding a pipe...wth?!
Obviously we know it's the mannequin but to actually show a horrible CGI version of it killing the security guard was ridiculous! The best part about the deaths is you never saw who or what did it, you kinda knew but it didn't show it so it made is scary.

    Dean's montage in the Impala...
Why? Was that necessary to see that he's obviously torn up about the situation? On top of the horrible montage WHAT WAS THAT AWFUL SCORE?! It cheapened the sad moment into a cheesy soap opera.

    Sam piecing the puzzle together...
The flashbacks of the crimes and that thumbing sound effect was flat out stupid and unnecessary. We know what happened, we saw ALL of it...why do we need to see Sam finally figuring it out?!

    Ben and Dean moment...
Such an amazing moment and it was truly gut wrenching but jumping back and forth from close ups to wide shots and back again just made that moment lose it's momentum. If it just was strictly close ups and you could see the pain and heart ache in both the actors it would have been 100x better.

Sam and Dean talk at the end...
The score...it's just annoying noise now and it needs to stop!

I've never hated an episode of Supernatural and I wish this one could be wiped from my brain and the series.

  56. Me.....Oooo.....me...I don't have a migraine Rochey.....can I consider myself glomped?
    *glomps Rochey back anyway*

I'm liking this episode a lot more now I've had time to think about it...see it takes a while for my mind to process this stuff......so I'll probably get that migraine in an hour or two.....
Overall I'm just really enjoying having Sammy back.....
And Dean is more himself now Sammy's back too....

I thought the concept of a haunted kidney was fudgin' HILARIOUS...I mean WHAT?
but then I thought 's**t that's kinda scary'....what if it could really happen? ....You know how we were talking phobias on one of the other pages? Well I've suddenly developed a phobia over organ transplants......(apologies to anyone who's had one) but sheesh.....

And that guy talking to his mannequin girlfriend....that was the scariest part of the whole episode..... I mean seriously creepy.... Ohhh....wait...no the scariest part was haunted impala... Dean's baby turning on him....and hasn't he sacrificed enough...now he's got to sucker his baby into crashing into a building?

And at the end? 'I've got your back Dean'...... does our show get any better than that?

So bring on next week's episode.....Jensen and Jared pretending to be Dean and Sam pretending to be Jensen and Jared....Misha being Misha....Genevieve being Genevieve...and me LMAO

    ReplyDelete
  57. Awwww JillyAnne...You should know that i have special 'Glomps' on hold just for you.

    *Glomps jillyanne for effect*

"Overall I'm just really enjoying having Sammy back.....
And Dean is more himself now Sammy's back too...."

Yeah i'm revelling in Sammy being Sammy too <33
See i was right about Dean's personality being attached to Sam's Soul :))

seriously how heartbreaking was that scene at the start ?

*wipes blotchy face and pretends she has allergies*

"I thought the concept of a haunted kidney was fudgin' HILARIOUS...I mean WHAT?
but then I thought 's**t that's kinda scary'....what if it could really happen? ....You know how we were talking phobias on one of the other pages? Well I've suddenly developed a phobia over organ transplants......(apologies to anyone who's had one) but sheesh....."

Yeah...me too...i was all "shit...how are they gonna get out of this"

I was imagining Sam/Dean pretending to be surgeons.....so they could convince the girl to let them cut the kidney out.....although even though that was never happening.....surgeons......fan girl fix sorted :D

"And at the end? 'I've got your back Dean'...... does our show get any better than that?"

    Awwww....chick flick moments.....fav part of show....boys being all vulnerable/emotional...I heart infinity <33

Yeah next week looks MENTAL....Damn those expectations :))

    *prays JillyAnne goes Migraine free*

    <33

  58. *sigh* So, this place is turning into 'hate central' too? I mean, I thought this episode was only 'good', not 'great' myself but to say it was 'atrocious' or 'worst ever' is a little strong, don't you think? Bile, bile, bile and not a positive thing to say? Wow. I wonder why people who didn't find anything good about this ep - not even Dean's humor or Dean and Sam talking about the 'Great Wall of Sam' - even watch this show because these things are the cornerstones on which this show's built.

    ReplyDelete
  59. o.k - so I've said it countless times - it's my show and I love it and as long as it's on the air I'm going to watch it... but mannnnnn.... What the hell was that?!?!

It seems like the writer who came up with the plot started to write it sober and than got gradually drunk and lost all trail of thought. It was so all over the place.... The mannequin story line could have been so awesome! and the part with the kidney - great idea to explore but it was executed so badly - the car chase (?!?!) than she dies??? WTF ? how come she dies? her ghost sister accidentally killed her? how does it serve the plot? and what's with lame ass montage with dean and Lisa ?

I'm sorry but I didn't get this episode at all...

the things I liked tough -
I'm still so so glad that Sam is back.. ^________________^
Dean freaking out in the beginning.
    The talk with Ben.
The fist manniquine was oh so creepy.
Sam's molesting accusations towards Dean =D

    ReplyDelete
  60. I voted 'POOR' -great brother moments, MOTW story was good (though not perfect) but the Dean/Lisa/Ben soap opera ruined it for me. It's not something I want or need from this show, separating the brothers when they'e only just reunited? not good. I watch this show for the brothers dynamic, I enjoy how they work together, ho they play off each other. I was right back to where I was at the beginning of the season-reaching for the fast forward button.

    ReplyDelete
  61. All I have to say is we know where Sylar has been hiding out now :p

    ReplyDelete
  62. I think it was perfect. Scary, sad, funny, cute... just how I like my SPN:) But I think I was more worried about the Impala than I've been about Sam this whole season, haha.

    ReplyDelete
  63. yeah that how I felt : "It felt like they wanted to leave themselves room to revisit it all and start the couple up again."
And I mean that's okay if that's what they wanna do and not be like with cassi lol (never talk about her again). BUT if that's not the case then, wth lol.

we'll see I guess. I think we might see them again s7 :D I love them ahaha, I know it would piss a lot of fans off but hey I dont care haaha, for once

  64. LOL! took me a moment to get it *bad hero fan badbadbad*

    ReplyDelete
  65. I love that the girl died, it felt new to me. I know caracters have died before *duh* but this one was different... i dunno weird ahhaa.

the first mannequin WAS CREEPY agreed lol. I watched with my bff and she was like "i didnt know you were scared of mannequin" I'M NOT but look at those eyes. and they kept doing close up and YOU KNOW they will move but they didnt = more creepy any way yeah first time i was scared

    ReplyDelete
  66. wow I don't get you poeple what is going on! I understand that you can not like the episode but omg... usualy when an ep is that bad all the fandom agrees *cough* route 66 bugs *cough*

seriously I'm just like... shocked lol. I don't get it, we dont watch the same thing, it's one of my fav this year.

only thing I hated was the montage cause I HATE montage but I it helped with delivering the emotion (except that we all hated it hahah)

I wanna get it I dont.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Funny, because I found last week's episode to be almost unwatchable for all the cheese and outside of seeing some of the stuff RoboSam did, I really just hated it.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Fringe was wonderful.
    Especially the last couple scenes!!

    ReplyDelete
  69. WHAT'S GOING ON WITH THE FANDOM? I don't undestand I wanna know. Or maybe I don't and I wanna stay an happy fan who sometimes doesnt "like" an ep BUT NEVER "HATES" one, atrocious? or what ever word you use... omg I watch 90210 and the eps arnt atrocious come on. this is crazy. how can you sit through 1 hour of this shit? I dont understand *cries*

It was like old time, ghost how long as it been? original = mannequin. Dean and sam working together, yeah I know dean left for Ben and lisa but that was like 15min cmon, and they kept speaking on the phone. Kidney, pretty new stuff there. ANY WAY I just dont get it. Dont freaking say you miss the show cause that was the closed we got to season 1-2

    ReplyDelete
  70. I'm not entirely sure what your point is, but that whole post reeks of ignorance...

    ReplyDelete
  71. DAMN! I'm so late on fringe. I feel like if I catch up on the eps then I'm gonna be sad on friday nights for not watching it live ahhaa.

    ReplyDelete
  72. As far as I can tell, you've seen a chick-fila commercial once or twice and someone has told you that was Fringe. The plot has very little to do with the cow... The storyline is anything but crap, and to say that you're a bigger fan because someone said maybe they should've watched Fringe instead is just ridiculous. What if they're disappointed with how the show has been going this year so far? What if they're such a big fan that they would rather not watch when it's going in a direction that a true fan would know the show should never go? For you to start attacking someone over what they watch is just stupid...

    ReplyDelete
  73. OMG! I missed the "Be my valentine" thing! damn.

WINCEST???? WHERE R YOU FROM? how can this scene be wincest? (and can you clarify if you wanted it or not... cause I know that when you want it you just see it every where... *cough* destiel *cough*)

    ReplyDelete
  74. I hope it will be the same for every one. AND great now I HAVE to watch it again too ahaha.

    ReplyDelete
  75. lol I could never leave Supernatural I mean come on ppl, six seasons in and as fans always bitch anyway I don't rely on their opinions to watch this show :) And I'm starting to get into Merlin hehehehe. So it works, right after my take of SPN I go straight into Merlin.

    ReplyDelete
  76. lmao lol :D First off I don't know u so I could care less. Let a girl have her fantasies :)

    ReplyDelete
  77. I COMPLETELY AGREE ON THE SCORE!!!!!!
I almost jumped ship after last week's episode...
I didn't understand the montage either...

    ReplyDelete
  78. I really enjoyed it. I thought even the mannequins were creepy and not bad...

    ReplyDelete
  79. i really enjoyed this episode
it was pretty classic MotW stuff that i love and miss
the mannequins were CREEPY!!! almost as scary as the evil clown!!! (nothing is scarier than the evil clown)
i liked the kidney transplant idea, that was new and original
dean getting attacked by the impala was hilarious, very reminicent of the pilot
"you leave my baby alone! she's got nothing to do with this!"
didn't really like the whole lisa and ben stuff though, i thought it was pretty pointless seeing as how it didn't actually change anything

but on the whole i really liked it
soooo unbelievabley pumped for next week its insane, hope its good

    ReplyDelete
  80. I KNOW RIGHT!?
    Especially the first guy's death!
I was like "OH SNAP! He's gonna kill the mind reader again!"

    ReplyDelete
  81. OMG the close up shots of the mannequins were just really creepy! I was like "Oh crap, don't get any closer!!!" lol

    ReplyDelete
  82. Lol I don,t understand the SPN/MERLIN thing.. oh wait the sword??? (btw MERLIN IS AWESOME! love arthur lol)

And yeah I know the fans always bitch, Kripke warned me with Swan song lol (cause I had not met the fandom yet) BUT WOW! I couldnt be a writer ahaah. I would cry like every night. cause this starts with good comments but then they are all bad after hahaah. any way. I'm just confused..

    ReplyDelete
  83. lol yeah, fear of organ transplants

why was that creepy guy in love with a mannequin? i never got that part
i thought it was really weird.
obviously they needed a manequin to kill him but it was just weird
i honestly thought it was a joke

haunted imapla was heartbraking, seeing dean's baby attack him!!

    ReplyDelete
  84. i totally agree with everything you've said
especially that stuff at the start about dean's little tremble
and when his mouth quivers and shakes and he starts crying
my soul shatters when dean is sad!!!

    ReplyDelete
  85. oh god thanks. I was sad with all the comments.

AND YEAH! Mannequins! I am NOT gong shopping soon omg... im so creeped out. Havnt decided if no eyes was scarier than with eyes lol

AND omg have you seen the long version of the preview for next week. I'm already pissing my self (from laughter of course...)

    ReplyDelete
  86. Seriously I mean this show doesnt scare me at all. I jumped once. But this OMG! The sex doll was pretty creepy too, i had a "wtF" look on my face all the time.

    ReplyDelete
  87. iknow right haha! At first I thought he was controling the dolls with his big sex doll HAHHA! but then when it moved he was scared so I got confused again ahhah. (Am I the only one who thought that actor was AMAzing)

    ReplyDelete
  88. An other thing. The acting was great or was it just me? I mean imHo Ben (dont know his name sorry) wasnt... really good in the fist couple of eps. But this one was way better, and the guy that dies the last was great too, I usualy hate them. Jared well... I really didnt like him last week and this week he was back to Like a Virgin = great.

AND I'm still not getting what all off you are saying about mother of all. I think it's something aout her face... i dont know she creeped me out so that = not so bad acting in my head lol. I'll wait till we see her again, but I hope im right cause a bad actress for the bigbad is gonna suck

    ReplyDelete
  89. holy shit the music sucked. Wow, sorry lol I'm rewatching it. and WOW... I didnt realise it cause I was to much in the "moment" i guess cause i love dean/lisa BUT WOW... WOW. I get it .. you know classic rock is not cheap and blablabla but you dont put classic rock there any way WHY DYOU put this omg.. okay sorry im really in shock ahha. Who chooses this? I need to know if they changed the guy cause WOW. okay im stoping now im okay ....

    ReplyDelete
  90. yeah, i don't understand how people canvote awfull, especially fans

i can't decide which was creepier either
i was first gonna say the firt one coz its eyes were all weird and scary and piercing
but then i'm like, the other one had no eyes and still stared you down and killed you

then of course there was the last one all dressed up and creepy in the bed and on the couch

yes!! i have watch the trailer at least 18 times today
i reward myself after finishing a section of hmework with watching it again and laughing my headoff in excited anticipation!!

    ReplyDelete
  91. HAHAHA! my bff was with me last night and she got pissed off cause I couldnt stop watching ahahah! What can i say the more I watch the more I laughed

    ReplyDelete
  92. i thought the acting all round was pretty good
    especially ben, he was awesome
it was weird seeing him all young again in the flashback (what was up with the pointless montage?)
i don't think we saw enough of mother really to be able to judge her acting.
she really only had one line
and that line gave me the biggest shivers i've ever had so i think she was pretty good...and pretty menacing!!!

    ReplyDelete
  93. "Gotta Say Dean....You give sucky advice....What was it "bury it as far down as possible, where it only comes out in spontaneous bursts of violence and alcoholism" ....Excellent advice....so tell me Dean...How's it working out for you so far ?"

Agree with this part. Sam's a processor. He needs to process and work through things. Nothing good ever comes from him bottling up things inside. That's how we got Ruby. Dean may have given different advice if he had seen Sam in Mystery Spot after he died.

    ReplyDelete
  94. yeah, ithought so too! that he was controlling them
    i was sooo very confused
then he died and that quickly cleared things up, he was not doing it

    ReplyDelete
  95. My idea is it will break slowly off and on as he scratches and Dean's presence will be the glue to put it back and make it ok in the end. Even soulless Sam was relying on Dean so I'm hoping that's where the writers will go.

    ReplyDelete
  96. I KNOW RIGHT thanks ahaha.

and omg im watchin the montage NOW ahaha... gosh. It's like if they put a fanvid in the show, AND FANVID HAVE GREAT MUSIC btw. I getta say it grows on me a little ahha. cause now im passed the shock of "omg this is supernatural get the cheesy love montage away from me" and more in the fase of I wanna cry cause i love lisa and ben! AND DAMN YOU CANT LIVE without saying any thing after " You know you are walking out on your family right" ARGH i will never get over that one ahha, I had accepted it was the end off lisa ben but with this... nay nay, you better bring them back writer ahhaha. (so im kinda happy actualy) WOW Im turning in bitching me too. but in a i loved it kinda way.

    ReplyDelete
  97. There's an SPN/Merlin thing lol? All I know is that it shows right after SPN. *shivers* Arthur! :D Well I am a writer but I'll never dwell into fandom cuz keeping up with irritating *keep-them-in-character* fans is too much. Tru Tru, when I post here I just feel the need to pour out all my thoughts on the show so I mostly do it right after the new promo (or right after Merlin nowadays) And I'm thinking of rewatching 'Bugs', hmm can't remember it sucking hardcore but you guys seem to differ lol *smh

    ReplyDelete
  98. Lol I actualy like bugs, but I know that fandom hates it so I refer to it. And I didnt like route 66 but it was a black story and that touches my heart every time and makes me cry so it was okay for me, but again I know most of us agree it sucked ahha.

    ReplyDelete
  99. AH! Again me, I know I'm anoying. But I'm watching a convention from back in 2007 and wow. There is this army guy that came in and said that a lot of guys back there (at war) watch the show and they got a letter from a general and WOW i'm in tears so proud of the show right now. and any way if you wanna watch its there: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lp7Zv5cP5fo&feature=BF&list=QL&index=21

its at 2:45min until the end and wow.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Hmph, some ppl have beer goggles, some have wincest xray glasses lol. M'not hating though, since wincest sightings are the least of our problems. I originally was going to say this fandom was going to shit but then you and few others highlighted the reality that....I dunno, I just feel grateful that its been running for six seasons and that we won the magazine cover and I appreciate all that the actors are doing and I know they're really trying their best to give us what we want. Dean/Lisa/Ben isn't all that bad, it sorta goes along with the hunters-never-having-a-stable-life-to-come-home-too mantra and I see that Dean really tried to move on with them that awful video montage lol, unexpected much, but still as you said it did cover some ground or whats not. Can't wait for the next episode either.

    ReplyDelete
  101. tru tru. U shud chek out the promotional pictures for the next episode. They're on...on here...0_o somewhere < ^ >

    ReplyDelete
  102. lol, I don't know what the big deal is. For a minute I was like 'Destiel, what is that? A Fringe thing -_-?'

    ReplyDelete
  103. Its weird that they've been together a year and there's still no clarification as to whether or not Ben is Dean's son. hm

    ReplyDelete
  104. lol maybe I wasnt clear (like always sorry)
I just meant that if you are a wincest fan I understand that you see it every where cause im a destiel (Dean/Castiel) fan and I do see it EVERY where lol.

But I thought at first that you were scared it would happen so thats why I was confused cause to a none shiper that was nothing. ANY WAY point is I'm crazy you,re crazy ahahah

    ReplyDelete
  105. lol lol wincest for me kinda goes into those fluffy sammy and dean moments which the show is famous for, I'm trying to ship it others :) o_o so yeah I'm crazy. Glad to know m'not the only one. *sniff there's hope for the world yet lmao

    ReplyDelete
  106. Absolutely fantastic! I was so glad that the episode picked up where the last one left off because I think we would have been left wondering just what had happened. I hope that Sam feels comfortable enough telling Dean about what he remembers in the cage.
For all of you NJ viewers out there, I was pleased to see that Paterson was where the show took place. My Dad is from Totowa. He has not been there in years (14) since his Mom died suddenly, but it is nice to see a little piece of home every now and again.
I thought the ending was rather sad last night. Too bad the boys could not have saved the girl.
Cannot wait for next week to get here! It is going to be hilarious and probably one of the best episodes yet!

    ReplyDelete
  107. Oh definitely, definitely. I'm totally agreeing and I'm on the same lines as you Kat. More or less what I'm wondering is if it's going to get to the point where Sam really struggles to deal with it, deal with the soullessness and Hell and has an emotional breakdown kinda like how Dean did in Heaven and Hell, you know? If that makes sense. I mean he's keeping it all to himself. He said it's not fun and that it felt like a week as opposed to Dean's Sam was out for 2-3 minutes. I'm just sorta wondering if bits and pieces are going to leak out of Sam's wall, you know? *scratches chin* I'm just kinda hoping we get that little emotional moment of Sam talking about it to Dean and Dean supporting Sam and helping him through it because Dean is the one person who definitely knows about Hell and can identify with Sam more than anybody. Though the two may have been on entirely different levels of Hell here and different experiences, Dean still knows.

    ReplyDelete
  108. I did not like the "monster of the week" story line for this one. I've heard stories of organs being haunted, but the twist of the person not even involed with what was going on was very lame and seemed added on to somehow make everything connect (not smoothly either) the only thing that saved this was the Dean, Lisa and Ben part of the story where Dean has to face his part of the past year (and he didn't really seem to resolve anything, just put more things to stress on)

    ReplyDelete
  109. I honestly and truthfully cannot get over how many people bitch about this show. It's like all people do is criticize criticize criticize. It's like you all expect it to be perfect at all times and when there's a weaker episode of the season you bitch and moan and complain and carry on about how it sucked and insult it. I mean seriously, what is wrong with you? Can you NOT just be happy that we've still got a show or are you just that unsatisfied with it? If you are so unhappy and unsatisfied with how the show is going then WHY do you still watch it? Can somebody please answer me that? Is it just for the sake of watching, decide it sucks and then come on here or on the forums so you can piss and moan about how terrible it was? And you know, if we don't get a Season 7 (which I doubt will happen), I can guarantee you that a lot of people are going to piss and moan about that too. I just don't understand, I guess. I just don't understand how people can't be happy that we still have a show, we still have the Js, the brotherly bond is coming back and all that extra good stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Totally agree with this. Thank you.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Yay! <3 Glad you agree with me! =D

    ReplyDelete
  112. I understand you point, but I see it differently. I enjoy the show, but why does that mean I can't see faults in an episode? Even the best series have weak episodes and sometimes even the best episodes have flaws. Some people, myself included, are just critical people... and that is not to say critical as in negative. It's critical as in having a discerning eye for merit. Seeing the truth or faults in something does not necessarily mean you like something any less.

Like I read somewhere... the key to a relationship is not finding someone who's positive's you love... the key is to find someone who's faults you can tolerate, or even embrace.

    ReplyDelete
  113. I agree with what you're saying. the Sam plot and the Dean plot did not enhance one another this week at all. I get that both had love at the center, but it just didn't work for me either. I would have preferred to see more brotherly bonding as they both took on the mannequins/ghost for the entire episode. I think it would have flowed better. The Dean ending it (if he truly did end it even) with Lisa and Ben plot seemed trivialized by how it was handled. This was Dean's one chance at normalcy, his true love and his child (if not by blood by emotion) and it was a glanced over B-plot tome. I think it deserved more.

    ReplyDelete
  114. Ha!
Sorry I made ya make a mess..... but at least it's easier clean up than blood... or dents in am Impala!

    ReplyDelete
  115. Interestingly enough, both shows dealt with love and relationships, both good and bad tonight. I think Fringe pulled off the connectivity of the two plots better though. They actually enhanced one another and played off one another and in the end, the two parts made one complete storyline. Just felt like two separate almost incomplete stories on Supernatural...

    ReplyDelete
  116. If there are people coming here and complaining week after week about everything related to this show, then I haven't seen it. What I've seen is that some episodes, characters and storylines hit people the right way while others don't. Last week a group was highly critical of Unforgiven (I gave it high praise). This week it seems like a different group is highly critical of Mannequin (myself included). I come here to read other people's viewpoints. I don't want to go to a site where people feel pressured to post only cheerleading-type posts about their show. If everyone was voting "awesome" every week for all shows, these episode rankings would lose their meaning.

Personally, I find that if other posters are annoying me too much, then it's a good time to take a break from the internet boards and come back when I'm a little more receptive to other people's comments.

    ReplyDelete
  117. I agree, Awesome should be a rare rating to give to an episode not a weekly occurrence.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Hi Kyelinn :)

First off: SPN fans have to complain - it's canon.... :P
Second: I think for some people it's like picking at a scab (gross analogy I know) or like Sam scratching at the wall...they just HAVE to do it.

I love our show too.....even the not so fantastic episodes.....there's always something great even if it's just a one-liner. Call me a 'cheerleader' if you must, but my philosophy is that negativity breeds negativity. I have no issues about people honestly and rationally stating their opinion. If someone 'hates' an episode that's their opinion. Fine. So long as they can say why they hate it. That's what this site is about after all, but when people start attacking others for voicing an opinion that riles me.

I come to SpoilerTV because generally we have a much more 'polite' community than a lot of the fansites.

I for one am loving S6 overall.....yes there have been a couple of less than stellar episodes, but that happens with any show.....

I guess what I'm trying to say is: I understand where you're coming from.
I'm 'happy that we still have a show, we still have the Js, the brotherly bond is coming back and all that extra good stuff.'

    *hugs Kyelinn*

    ReplyDelete
  119. One of the worst episodes I think. The A and B storylines were both tired and boring. The less we see of Lisa, the happier I'll be. Luckily next week's episode looks awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Alright, I'll be sure to catch up soon! Thanks

    ReplyDelete
  121. If I ever stated that I "hated" this episode then I apologize, I just really thought that it was a very very below average episode.
And by that, of course, I mean compared to the rest of the series, not the rest of the shows on television.
And normally I really enjoy the filler episodes, but I just didn't feel like this one was very good. At all.

    ReplyDelete
  122. Critiquing an episode = bitching now?
I think its better that we find some episodes weaker than others rather than going around all the time shrieking "OH MY GAWD its like the best show EVAA", which we do get from time to time. And I agree that, yes, if a poster were to think that every single episode was "awful", then they are not a fan.

But, I mean, we're not talking about Sam's hair here.

    ReplyDelete
  123. ...."Jensen and Jared pretending to be Dean and Sam pretending to be Jensen and Jared" - Jillyanne, reminded me of ....
" I'm sitting in a laundry mat reading about myself sitting in a laundry mat reading about myself...... my head hurts." - Dean

    ReplyDelete
  124. No problem. But I like Sam's hair ... except in season 2 ... and 5 .... and parts of season 1.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Ok you know what you sound a rude pige head bitch . Cuase i said sorry for being cheeky but told you my big brother just died i am so angry but i should have not took out on you . To me you seem an unsentimental bastard and , do you know what its like to lose someone that close , i am not talking about a papa or that am talking about your mum dad brother. But the fringe suck big time it is for stupid little people like you i said sorry , but you cant accept sorry can you ?. You know what you are not worth a thought .

    ReplyDelete
  126. Dont think so......LOL Come on The Fringe compared to Supernatural no wonder i said what i did . I did not want to watch no more of that horrible t.v show as oh a cow that can watch telly , god he's smart . I mean i know you have your opinion's and you are in titled but it's insulting to say should have watched fringe . Joshua Jackson is amazing actor but the plot is well crap in my opinion. Like i say you get good and bad episodes with every tv show. You can say you hated it , you can say anything but THE FRINGE LOL , thats comical. As for viewers who agree with you there is like 5 at least the rest say ok , and by far nothing like bugs . Bugs sucked BIG BIG BIG BIG BIG time . But even if they did disagree they give every episode a chance you said i should have watched Fringe instead , like Supernatural not worth the bother. I gess i am kind of eagedy as i have been for a while just you dont seem like a major fan as you would rather watch something else . I will say something though i should have not said what i said at the end that was nasty , just i am angry at the world the now . My big brother died just last month on the 7th he was only 23years old. Lol he liked fringe i guess i am insulting you cause i used to ,to him in a jokey way . But i hate that i cant now . We used to have debates over the cow lol and supernatural . I am sorry for that . Just like i say you seem not that into it. Anyways i dont want to agrue i know i started it but , its just over a show at the end of the day. Anyway take care .

    ReplyDelete
  127. It was alright. The monster story wasn't that interesting but I liked the reveal with the haunted kidney. I didn't see it coming. The problem was that it didn't make sense that the ghost vanished after her sister dead. Only when they burned remains ghosts vanished and now it was when the liver started to work. Stupid! The good part was Lisa and Ben. Ben just broke my heart with his speech. And Sam isn't as intelligent as I assumed, I thought the hell flashback would change his mind and he would stop trying to remember.

    ReplyDelete
  128. You come off as a blathering fool.
I'd feel more sorry for you if you weren't using your brother's death as a way to insult other people and their opinions. Take your name calling elsewhere.

    ReplyDelete
  129. I liked the episode. The MOTW storyline was rather weak, but the haunted kidney was a great idea - too bad they didn't focus a bit more on it - it'd really like to see them go hoodoo and deal with it instead of just having the girl killed. All in all, I think it was a really awesome idea, yet pretty badly sold unfortunately.

As for the Ben and Lisa storyline, I actually loved those scenes. Nice to see Dean care that much about someone else than his parents, Sam or Bobby. And the "you know you're walking out on your family, right?" from Ben really got me. Wow, that kid's good. A point for him for prefering Dean as a father than some doctor. Also loved (LOVED!) the scene with Dean in the Impala and the flashbacks on his life with them (the opening the door especially got me). I really don't want this to be over. Unlike many, I really loved the storyline of Dean being a hunter with a family - it also gives a lot new emotional dillemas to deal with, which has always been what this show is about.

OMG and the first scene. Dean just broke my heart there. Well, actually he was breaking my heart through the whole episode. And that is at least one reason why this episode didn't suck.

So did Sam just remember a week from hell or did he like lived it again? He surely now knows much more about what happened in the cage than we do. Damn it!

    ReplyDelete
  130. Hi Psych Bud :))

"Sam's a processor. He needs to process and work through things. Nothing good ever comes from him bottling up things inside. That's how we got Ruby. Dean may have given different advice if he had seen Sam in Mystery Spot after he died."

Yeah...totally Awesome....and look at it this way.....What happens in reality terms if normal people bottle their emotions/feelings.....well.....those feelings/emotions aren't filtered properly....so they sit inside you and fester...then in the long run, cause you aren't dealing with them....blow up into something much bigger, cause hindsight is a total Bitch......Next stop 'THERAPY CENTRAL'......or for people who freak at that route....bitter and angry/depressed.....WOW i never stop do i LOL

    Wuv you :D

    ReplyDelete
  131. Hi lostrocksforever *hugs*

i know....you're right...thanks......Jensen is wonderful with his facial acting......How oh How is he able to cry with just his eyes....and his face stays so still.....I want that talent/gift.....Nobody cry's pretty.....I wanna cry pretty :((

    *Epic Sulk*

    ReplyDelete
  132. 'and he didn't really seem to resolve anything, just put more things to stress on'

Dean being stressed? not sure I agree that would be the term to use, I'd say it piled on more guilt and amped up the self-pity.

    ReplyDelete
  133. You're assuming it's Dean's one chance at normalcy, there's no reason he couldn't have normal in the future as far as I can see. There isn't actually anything holding Dean back from having what ever he wants other than Dean himself. If he wanted to quit hunting and go live with Lisa and Ben he could, he managed it a whole year just fine and even if anything supernatural was to show up, Dean is a good hunter I'm sure he's be able to handle it?!

    ReplyDelete
  134. I've seen many montages like the one used in the episode in soap opera's when a character(s) leave the show (either through death or just moving on to greener pastures). Which is why I'm inclined to believe that this story arc is over as far as Lisa/Ben appearances are concerned-Dean's part not so much.

    ReplyDelete
  135. Indeed. I would say it was 'bad' by SPN standards.

  136. LAMENTANDO MUITO A SAÍDA DO MESTRE KRIPKE. AINDA NÃO CHEGOU A UMA BOA FORMA. É MUITO DIFÍCIL MANTER O MESMO RESULTADO SOBRE UMA VERSÃO SÉCULO XXI DA BÍBLIA...MAS "SUPERNATURAL" SEMPRE SURPREENDE!

  137. The instrumentals in the whole episode were completely off. It was like that last week too. Ugh! Either classic rock or nothing people.

  138. I lean more towards your viewpoint. In my opinion, they were both equally bad. As humdrum a set of episodes as I've ever seen on Supernatural. Generally the boring, filler episodes are separated. I guess they decided to be equal-opportunity in their meh this year. Unforgiven was Sam's uninteresting filler episode and this was Dean's uninteresting filler episode. If we can get through the meta episode, we may even get back to this season's story line. What a concept! I have a hard time believing that the Mother of All can be a Big Bad with only 7 episodes left. How annoying!

  139. So maybe we don't agree. I thought this one was as humdrum as last week's. Just in different ways. Although my favorite part of the episode was Ben telling Dean off. I also thought it an awesome scene and I like Ben even more because of it. I'm just ready to get to the action part of the story. We got 2 minutes of the Mother adn nothing for 2 weeks. They are running out of time to make her scary because right now I'm indifferent to her place in SPN mythology.

  140. I like Lisa and Ben and I do think they are a part of his family. He was a part of their family for a year and for Dean that's like 30 years for every one else. (Yes, we have hell time and now Dean time. :-P). Besides, Bobby is not blood either if that's how you are judging family.

I like that you are sharing your opinions. However, please stop telling people that they are not a fan of the show if their opinion differs from yours. We all have different things we like about Supernatural and things that bug us to no end. I wouldn't trash you for disliking Lisa but I also wouldn't expect you to trash me for my opinion. We are all superfans or we would not spend out time commenting and reading others' comments.

PS - I am truly sorry to hear about your brother. That has to be devastating to you and my thoughts are with you and your family.

  141. I love how the Impala possessed is revenge for tarping her. I'm going with this one and saying Dean deserves what he gets. Poor Impala. Dean's baby should never, ever be covered up.

  142. "it's my show and I love it and as long as it's on the air I'm going to watch it... but mannnnnn.... What the hell was that?!?!"

That perfectly sums up my feelings about the last two episodes. I still think a bad episode of SPN is better than most show's "great" episodes. But these two try my theory.

  143. I thought the Dean/Lisa/Ben part was the most compelling of everything this episode. The MOTW story line was far too lame and conveniently wrapped up.

  144. I disliked both last week and this week's episodes. Yes, I am more critical and negative about them because I didn't like them. However, I have been over-all pleased by season 6 and would never think of not watching because of 2 episodes I thought were meh in a row. I think people vent here because it is usually a safe place to do so without being attacked by others, unlike other sites where you have to watch every word you say. This makes people more free with their criticism. I look at it as people have such high expectations for our little show that they are genuinely shocked when something sucks. In a way, it's almost a compliment to the show although, I agree it gets annoying when the same people always have something negative to say and nothing positive. My guess is that you will see a lot of positive comments next episode and the one following. Except for by me - I hate meta. :-P

  145. I'd venture that people who are more sympathetic to Sam liked Unforgiven better and people more sympathetic to Dean liked Mannequin 3 better. Although that is generalizing perhaps too much. I thought they were both subpar.

  146. Coming late to the party since I was out all weekend. And yes, I am going to be critical but I hope not overbearing. For me the last two episodes were about as humdrum as Supernatural gets. They weren't the complete clunkers of Bugs and Route 666 or even The Third Man for that matter, but they were both dull with strange recaps in the center like we weren't paying attention. One time is bad judgment, a second time makes me wonder if the writers think our collective IQ's have dropped 20 points. But by far the worst thing in both was the terrible background music. Did the sound guy even watch the show or just put the CD changer on shuffle? Nothing matched the mood. I hereby issue the request that if it's not classic rock, then let it be silence. I felt like I was listening to the Supernatural edition of elevator music and that is a complete sin for this show.

What I loved - I loved Ben. All things Ben. But mostly I loved that Ben called Dean on walking out on his family. They have been his family and for someone who has never known a stable life, they were his center at a time when he needed their support most. Dean loves them and they love Dean. They deserved better than ignored phone calls and avoidance. Dean really annoyed me in this episode. I also liked how the episode began and ended. Good brother moments, even if they depressed me to no end.

What I disliked - The MOTW story may be one of the lamest they've ever done. Naive girl gets pranked by a bunch of 6th graders and dies. She haunts them through dolls. Who wrote this? I did think the haunted kidney twist was interesting, right until the writers made the whole episode obsolete. She died and the ghost went bye-bye. Problem instantly solved. Did anyone else think Insta-Dawn from Bugs at this point? I'm not used to Supernatural taking such cheap cop outs, although they are a dime a dozen everywhere else.

For me, the Lisa/Ben/Dean scenes and Sam's support at the end are all that saved this from sinking to Third Man status. Well, that and Metallicar. Please can't we get back to the Mother of All before they have to convince me that she's scary in three episodes or less.

I did not mean to come long nasty just people are saying like i want to see more Lisa Dean scenes then when they do they say it hated seeing them together , then they say i want to see them again. I should not have pocked my noise into it i gess i am angry at life as my brother was only 23 years old. But saying that People do complain about stupid things and its just a T.V show at the end of the day what happened to my bother is life , i gess thats why i got on eaged . I was not judging about booby dont know how you got that , i meant bobby is not blood at that family does not mean to say you have to be. Also i dont dislike Lisa so again dont know where you got that from . I however know i should not judge on people's opinion's and i have even said that before . That you are free o say whatever , but theres opinion's and then theres being a hypocrite . But i am usually just ironing it like before my brother died but i was just mad at the wrong people . 148. It felt like the jazzed version of Jay Gruska's 'Slightly South Of The Border' from Charmed(Paige's theme when she confesses to Henry)... listen to it once...
May be they wanted to put some romantic atmosphere... ;)

  149. I agree with this in part, but there were differences in quality between the two episodes that I think influenced many decisions. The filming style of Unforgiven was modeled after classic film. The filming style of Mannequin was modeled after Days of Our Lives. I used to watch Days when I was growing up. I know it when I see it. Last week when we had the Days reference in the dialogue I wondered if they were poking fun of what was coming, and that Days was a running gag behind of the scenes. In Unforgiven there was more quality in the development of the MOTW story and the way it was integrated to the current action. I had problems with a lot more than the Lisa/Ben storyline this week, and I think we share some of the same opinions on that part.

I'll admit, I've read the Dean/Lisa/Ben story to be little more than an extension of an exploration of his daddy issues. Lisa was nothing more than a fun time from a bendy weekend to him before he realized he could see himself being Ben's father. However, Dean's not ready for that yet, and he split a little too quickly as soon as Lisa gave him a guilt-free out in the beginning of the season to make me thing that he's really in love with Lisa. I'm getting bored with Dean's daddy issues and was annoyed that Lisa and Ben keep resurfacing, but I'd love to see Dean look at a woman the way Sam looked at Madison, and believe that that relationship will not be instantly doomed.

I see the Sam storyline as covering some new ground. There have been parts of Sam's subconscious, such as the idea that family holds you back, that have been hinted at earlier in the series but never fully explored, which resurfaced during the RoboSam period. I'm looking forward to seeing how that all works itself out. With these last two paragraphs, I probably made your point, but there's something to the first part - about the differences in filming and quality - as well.

  150. We had Jensen in a bad soap opera this week (Days of Our Lives) and Jared in a bad horror flick (House of Wax). Is it possible that this episode was an inside joke - an intro to the meta episode - that got lost on about 98% of the viewers?

  151. Go to hell you sicko. I am not fucking using my brother i loved him so dam much and to die of cancer at 23 years old . I said to you that i was angry at the world but i should have not took it out on you , i also said that i used debate with him about the fringe that why i targeted you , cause i miss it so much and if you dont get that then you are by far not right in the head. How fucking dare you say i am using him, i miss him like crazy and horrible people like you should be in his place . 153. The worst episode this season. I was waiting for the proper "end" of Lisa/Ben/Dean storyline. I hated the character of Lisa and how she turned Supernatural into soap-opera and Dean into a wuss. I was waiting for Dean to tell her that all he ever wanted was to be with his brother and that she doesn't understand what they (Sam & Dean) mean to each other. And Ben's speach? Come on... it was rude and made no sense. Dean's family is Sam and Bobby - not this "instant/fake family". I'm not interested in watching Lisa and her 12-year old kid on screen anymore. They belong to the crappy soap-operish type of shows. I want my Supernatural again, with cheerful Dean (Dean the womanizer) and supportive/understanding Sam.
