    The way things seem to work out, Dean'll probably end up having to save them from something! LOL

    As for the amulet... maybe that's why Dean is going after them... (I keep thinking that maybe the amulet could be a way to help Sam if/when the wall comes down, and it kind of sounds like Dean is going it alone on this one)

    Yeah but it has been soooo long since it happened. and there are bigger issues going on right now than hunting down these two hunters. It just does not seem to fit. I am all for him going and getting payback. I actually thought he would have done it before now, but it just does not sound like the right time for payback. Not to mention isn't REVENGE part of the achilles hill of the Winchester family? There has to be some kind of link to what is going on now and not just "hey, no that we got your soul back, let's hunt down those two SOB's who shot us 2 years ago. It would be a year for us, but this is SPN so we are 2 yrs.

    I was thinking (dangerous, I know) I don't see Dean seeking out these guys out of revenge now, but maybe he would have right after Sam's swan dive... could this be part of the flashback episode? Just another thought...

    I don't believe so, according to Jensen and Jared the old west episode will be based on the story of the COLT and how/why Daniel Colt made it-something to that affect.

    Roy and Walt murdered Sam and Dean, they deserve to pay for that. That being said I wouldn't want the boys to kill them, that's just not who Sam and Dean are. I envision something a little more creative, like when Sam called the cops on Gordon in 'Hunted' giving them an anonymous tip off about his weapons cache. Remember how Dean wanted to kill Gordon for trying to kill Sam but Sam said he had it covered and how proud Dean was of Sam when the cops pulled up. I want it to be something smart and very Winchester like.

    Not to be awkward here but how come it is alright for Dean to go off and seek vengence and yeah you go for it Dean , they deserve it and yet when Sam seeked vengence where Lilth was concerned for what she did to Dean . Sam was painted has wrong, bad, dark , selfish .Where is the difference , vengence is still vengence regardless of who is doing it . If it was considered wrong for Sam then Dean going after Walt and Roy is no diffrent.

    While I understand and agree with your point I think the whole 'Dean going after them' and them making it sound like it will only be Dean was due to the question being asked of Jensen. I think the fan asked if Dean would be going after the hunters and he just replied Yes therefore people assumed it meant it would only be Dean.

    If anything Sam and Dean should be going after those Disney characters together, they murdered Sam in cold blood without even listening to his side of the story the only reason they killed Dean was because he recognised who they were. If her hadn't had made them he'd have walked away scot free. YES he should want vengeance for his brother but in all honesty I'd quite like Sam to be the one dishing it out, and very much in the style of how he tough Gordon a lesson in 'Hunted' with his brain.

    Perhaps it is less that Sam tried to get revenge on Lilith and more the way he did it. I don't see either of the brothers siding with demons to take down Walt and Roy much less getting addicted to demon blood. Certainly they wouldn't break their relationship to do it either. However, it's all a moot point because I don't believe that the Winchesters would murder humans in cold blood if they didn't absolutely have to. No matter what those humans might have done to them.

    Dean's never been one to hunt for revenge...not even the YED. His more interested in helping people, protecting his family, and killing the things right in front of him, not go after a couple of hunters who aren't hurting anyone.
