Crap. All of them? Is that an option? Either Clarke or Bellamy, probably, if I have to choose. The show has done such a good job of fleshing out their characters and making them complex and entertaining that I could easily vote for anyone on the list, as well as Kane, Monty, Miller, Anya, or several other characters. It's one of the things I love most about this show.
I love everyone but Clarke, Thelonius and maybe Lincoln. I voted for Bellamy, but Raven and Octavia are close, like Monty and Jasper who wasn't included.
This is a strange poll... with like half the characters not listed haha. But Clarke's my number one for sure after season 2. Bellamy was in s1 but the arc for Clarke this past season was incredible & Eliza just took off with it. Octavia,Bellamy,Kane, & then Lincoln for top 5. Murphy too has been surprising but theres still more to explore before I say a favorite. I don't really think I've disliked any character on the 100 besides Finn for how questionably written he was. & Anya will always be one of my favorites :(
i agree it's a strange poll, would've liked more characters on there and I am surprised Lexa is more popular than any of the main cast, considering she is a guest star. I don't really like her tbh.
I love all of them, but Bellamy won a especial place in my heart, so I'll vote for him even when he didn't have that many chances to shine this season. Clarke was a strong second though, Bellamy merely edged her out
Lexa is the worst. She sacrificed so many people in Tondc for nothing. She was in the winning position in 2x15 and she just walked away. If Clarke will ever forgive her, I'm done with the show.
Sorry to see you don't understand the character and her duties as Commander. You should read some of the metas on Tumblr or even just answers from the writers about this. It'd help you see things a bit more clearly. I mean, if you're interested in seeing Lexa's side of things of course.
LOL. She promised her people revenge and then she was just walked away. We're talking about 97 years of war when Mountain Men were killing grounders and turning them into reapers. I can understand why she chose the easy way out (she's young leader and she has much still to learn) but it doesn't mean that I have to like her. Tumblr won't change that.
I actually really liked her when she was first introduced. But she's not one of the sky people.. shes not part of the main cast. The stories never going to be told through her eyes. I love the grounders & their culture is maybe more interesting than the arkers.. So I get why she's popular. But I don't understand the love over many characters that have been here since the pilot that are just as complex, developed & well written if not better than she is.. not to mention just likeable. Also I think its unfair for all her obsessive fans to actively defend or justify everything she does. Clarke's my favorite character because she screws up and makes mistake and hell I don't even know if I'd like her in real life. But I like that shes like that & I don't defend her when she does something questionable. Basically the obsession over Lexa has made me like her less haha. I'm hoping a lot of her fans understand how good the show is and always has been before her introduction cause shes not going to be around much at all in s3
The thing is though.. everyone is entitled to their opinons about every character Lexa included. The writers shouldn't need to answer things and or clarify them for people. They are going to interpret it the way they choose. I mean if the writers have characters such as Octavia not supporting the commander's decisions than its a valid point of view for fans to also not support them. That's usually why the writers are so damn good .. theres never a right or wrong answer to the choices the characters make.
Huh, I am wondering where this poll got posted that suddenly Lexa's leading by a large margin. I get that she's popular, but like four hours ago she was way behind Clarke and Bellamy.
Only one vote? It has to be Bellamy then, with Clarke and Murphy a close second and third. Actually all of them are great characters with an amazing development over two seasons.
OT: ProSiebenSat.1 recently renewed the output deal with Warner Brothers. Among others they got the rights for iZombie, Constantine and The 100.
same! the lexa fans actually made me like her less unfortunatley. I am happy they have a character they like but the show is just so much more. There was one article which Jason Rothenberh retweeted that was how great the show was but I searched through the article and not one mention of characers like Bellamy or Raven. Not even their name! I just love the show for all that it overs. I liked Lexa in the beginning actually but I don't get the results of this poll at all :/ oh well :)
I didn't mean for it to sound as if having a negative opinion of Lexa is wrong. It's just that I've seen people (admittedly young people, and I think Bellamy/Clarke shippers?) trashing Lexa for reasons that didn't make any sense and I thought maybe this was one of them, again. The words "she was in a winning position" and "she sacrificed people for nothing" rubbed me the wrong way.
Lexa sacrificed people in TonDC so that the Mountain Men remained unaware of Bellamy's presence in Mount Weather a bit longer. She played the long game, no matter how hard it was for her. Her (and Clarke's) decision bought Bellamy time and probably saved his life.
Lexa wasn't in a winning position if she was going to lose more of her people. Yes, they surely would have won but at what cost? Her people inside would have likely been executed before they could even reach them. Her people outside would have suffered losses in battle. She was offered a deal that meant ALL of her people walked away and there would be no more reaping of the Grounders. She couldn't really say no to that. Since we met her, Lexa has been repeating over and over that her people come first. She's shown to be insightful and level-headed. So I don't see how she was wrong in her decision.
Clarke is my favorite character--I actually voted for her in this poll--and I think she does understand why Lexa made that choice, even though she can never forgive Lexa for leaving her behind. If Clarke had been offered the deal--get all of your people out in one piece and no more MM hunting them down--what do you think she would have done?
I like them all equally. Clarke and Lexa are great leaders, Bellamy is like a nice soldier, Octavia is turning into a badass, Raven is really good with tech and has been through a lot and Abby and Lincoln are really cool
WB usually switches between RTL and P7 every year. This year is the first time they renewed the contract (with P7). Maybe that's why they mentioned it on THR.
I hope they are realising a bit continuity makes for better treatment of material and better programming. I assume iZombi will be on sixx. Not sure about The 100 and Constantine though.

To be honest, I don't care where The 100 will be shown (ok, I DO care because of the ratings), but I hope it's as soon as possible to get an early DVD/Blu-ray release. ;) I know there is the UK import, but I'm too curious how they will translate "Camp YOU ist that way!" ;)
yeah what a nightmare. But honestly ever since Supernatural I gave up on watching genre shows on German TV the dubbing is always a nightmare. hahah to support The 100 I even bought S1 on prime. I did not realize that they had subtitals, partially in the middle of the screen!!! awful.
You got my respect going through the German dubs. Ratingwise you can only support the same as in US, if have those rating boxes.... I watch almost everything online now svod vod so actually I only use TV for the occasional zapping and talkshows. DE Programming and production's improving but very slowly.

My reaction exactly. Out of all of them, Lexa? May I ask WHY THE HELL? Because she spent the entire first season (off screen) trying to kill the 100? Because she wanted to kill Octavia just to keep her silent? Because she talked Clarke into letting the missile drop? Because she betrayed Clarke? I really do not get it. If it's about being a fearless warrior, Octavia is just that (and then again, when did we ever see Lexa fight? or bleed?). If it's about being a strong leader, Clarke is just that. Then there is the protective warrior Bellamy and probably the strongest and most clever girl this show has seen, Raven. There is also Marcus Kane, the only one who tries to understand every point of view involved. Seriously, so many great characters to chose from and Lexa is winning? What the hell is wrong with everyone? btw, voted for Bellamy. His devotion to protecting the 100 is heartwarmingly strong. Raven would be my second choice.
Just like Jon said Lexa Bitches!!! The showrunner is dying to bring Lexa back for sesaon 3, so much so that they are trying to get AMC to let Alycia Debnam Carey be allowed to be on both their shows. Fear the Walking Dead ( AMC ) and The 100. You Bellarke shippers may hate Lexa, but she's really popluar, and shes got the producers and writers really wanting her back. Oh and I have a feeling that Clarke is going to be able to get past Lexa's deal that was made. She may not have liked what Lexa did, but I bet she understood and would make the same deal for her people. I have to admit I thought Lexa would make the top 3 or 4 fav characters. I wasn't expecting her to be # 1. Also for those thinking that Lexa will only be a very small part of season 3. I don't know about that. They thought enough of the character to leave it open for her coming back, so they may have big plans. I could be wrong but alot of people like her, and if so then she's good for the ratings. When it comes down to it, the ptb will do what it takes to keep the ratings at least where they are, and are hoping for better. If bringing Lexa back helps that then sorry guys Lexa will probably be around for awhille, and I couldn't be more happy about that.
The season 2b ratings were actually very, very weak (to the point that the show has now been moved to mid-season and is on the brink of cancellation). I don't think Lexa presence in the show bettered the ratings at all, and I certainly don't think she is overall the most popular character on the show (in truth, it's probably Clarke, Bellamy or Octavia). Lexa is kind of like the Stannis Baratheon of the GoT fandom; lots of hardcore stans, lots of people indifferent and lots of people who dislike her. On Tumblr; she is loved, but if you talk to a casual fan of The 100; they usually don't care that strongly for her or (after the betrayal) don't like her. The hardcore stans are the ones who take polls like this, put it all over Tumblr so people know to vote for her. But yeah, she's definitely not THE most popular character on the show.
The show could continue without Lexa, but it couldn't continue without Clarke, Bellamy or Octavia. That's popularity.
(Btw Raven is my favorite character. So I'm not speaking from any particular bias here; just stating facts).
