  • 17th December 2015 - Official Synopsis
Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.

  • 2nd December 2015 - First Look at Black Panther + EW Magazine Cover
As for fighting style, Black Panther has a unique amalgam of moves. “There are some animal forms, but not just cat. He could be a snake, or various different styles. Obviously there’s an opportunity to do some capoeira,” the Brazilian martial art that combines fighting with dance, Boseman says.

Part of Panther’s power is not just brute strength, but thinking ahead. “The key with T’Challa is to keep everybody on their toes. It’s to do the thing that is surprising, that you wouldn’t expect. So there’s a lot of agility and a lot of, like, ‘Why did he do that? Oh now I know why he did that. He was gonna come over here after he did that.’ I wouldn’t say he’s a ninja, but he does employ some of those aspects as well.”

Panther’s retractable claws are also made of vibranium — and since Cap’s shield is also forged from the substance: Who wins in a fight?

The Russo brothers have a simple answer for that: “We shall see,” Joe says.

  • 22nd July - Original Draft Included The Wasp
So while we are expected to see Paul Rudd back as Ant-Man in Captain America: Civil War, don’t expect to see Evangeline Lilly as The Wasp in that film. Feige admits that the character was originally written into the Civil War screenplay:

“She was included in early versions of Civil War but there are so many characters in Civil War that we didn’t want to do her a disservice, like she flies in, ‘I’ve got the costume now’, and she flies out. With Ant-Man, and I’m not saying thats what Ant-Man does in the movie, but we already know him, we’ve already seen him. We haven’t seen her as Wasp and we don’t want to rob the opportunity of seeing her in the outfit for at least almost the first time, and seeing her dynamic with Scott in a way it could play out, so we’re saving it. But its going to be in Phase three for sure.”

So we will see Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) in action as The Wasp by May 3rd 2019, which is the conclusion of Marvel’s Phase three in The Avengers: Infinity War – Part II.

  • 21st July 2015 - Martin Freeman gives hints about his role
Thanks to LovelyParisian for the heads up.

"It looks a little bit like he’s playing one game when actually he’s playing another," the actor says during an interview.

The identity of Martin Freeman's character in next year's Captain America: Civil War remains a secret, but the Sherlockand Fargo actor was willing to drop some hints as to his new identity in a recent interview.

"He works for the American government," Freeman told Italian site BadTaste. It during a recent appearance at the Giffoni Film Festival. "He works in conjunction with the super heroes, and certain agencies that help to tame the super heroes’ power, I suppose. So you’re not quite sure which side he’s on. It looks a little bit like he’s playing one game when actually he’s playing another."

  • 8th July 2015 - Black Panther Confirmed To Remain Neutral
Thanks to LovelyParisian for the heads up.

SHH: You’ve already announced a “Black Panther” movie and he’s going to be introduced in “Civil War” but are you going to try to do more movies like “Ant-Man” or even “Thor” where you’re introducing the character in their own solo movie, or will you continue to play with introducing the characters in an earlier movie?

Feige: It always varies, it really does. It always depends on how the timing works out. It depends on what stories we want to tell. In the case of “Civil War,” we needed a third party, we needed a character who wasn’t on either Captain America or Iron Man’s side, which is why we went, “You know what? We’re doing a Black Panther movie, but it would actually be smart to have him fill this role we need in Civil War and introduce him here first.” So it always just depends on the story and the way we want to tell the story.

  • 26th June 2015 - Kevin Feige Confirms Spider-Man's Appearance in Civil War
Spider-Man will join the likes of Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, and other familiar Avengers onscreen next year during his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in Captain America: Civil War.

Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige confirmed Spidey's appearance and shared new information about the upcoming standalone Spider-Man film. Holland is expected "immediately" on the Atlanta set of Civil War.

"Well, we're producing it for Sony. It's exciting, and we're treating it like we treat all of our films," Feige said. "To try to make the best version now of Spider-Man and a version of Spider-Man that inhabits this universe that we've created. We're in lockstep with [Sony Motion Picture Group chairman] Tom Rothman and [producer] Amy Pascal at every turn.”

Feige then added that part of the agreement made between Sony and Marvel would allow for some of the MCU characters to appear in future Spider-Man films. He did not, however, go into any story specifics or discuss which characters might be featured.

Additionally, Feige spoke about the upcoming Black Panther and Captain Marvel movies, voicing his hopes to have directors attached to the projects by the end of the summer. He spoke to the hope of bringing in minority directors to better represent and portray the on-screen characters.

"It's an issue across the industry, for sure," he said of the lack of female and directors of color in Hollywood. "And the issue is, we need to find the best director for any given movie. And that's really where we always start. If diversity is part of that, it's great. It's important. You will start to see things across the industry as a whole change as more filmmakers come up through the ranks and become part of making movies like this."

Feige then confirmed Selma director Ava DuVernay had been among many of the directors they've met with to discuss the possibility of helming Black Panther: "We've met with her for sure. We've met with a number of people for a number of movies. She has been one of them."

  • 3rd June 2015 - Samuel L. Jackson Not Returning
On the Marvel side of things, we know pretty much every character under the sun is coming back for Captain America: Civil War. However, notably absent from the lineup is Nick Fury, who according to Jackson was originally supposed to show up in that film. "I was surprised I wasn't in Civil War, because the Russo Brothers told me I was," he said. "I don't know what's going on."

We know that Jackson still has two Marvel movies left in his contract, but the actor confessed he has "no idea" which two.

  • 21st May 2015 - Mark Ruffalo to Appear?
The Hulk’s fate in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been a matter of discussion as of late ever since Mark Ruffalo revealed the studio’s difficulty in creating a Hulk solo film. While fans ponder which film Hulk may appear next after “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” Ruffalo recently teased his character’s return in “Captain America: Civil War.”

Mark Ruffalo sent a rather cryptic post on his Twitter page about “Captain America: Civil War.” The actor shared a photo of the movie’s logo and captioned it, “the Marvel family gets just a little bit bigger. @captainamerica #CivilWar.” He linked his post to his Tumblr page, which in turn also revealed an interesting statement that probably hinted his return as The Hulk in the sequel. The actor captioned the same movie logo with, “Welcome to the wild party! Looking forward to this amazing cast.”

Ruffalo’s Twitter post has since received over one thousand six hundred likes and over one thousand two hundred retweets. Other Twitter users supposed the actor’s tweet confirms his return as the angry green giant in “Captain America: Civil War.” Fans expressed their excitement over possibly seeing Bruce Banner again in the sequel although the studio has yet to confirm the character’s return.

ot off the news that Emily Vancamp will be returning as Sharon Carter in next year's Captain America: Civil War, an anonymous user has taken to 4Chan and supposedly leaked the plot of the film online. If true, it tells us a whole lot about the upcoming superhero threequel, including details of who's appearing, how characters will be introduced, the fate of certain characters and the major battles that happen within the film. So, if you're ready, then come and take a look at what could be the entire plot for Captain America: Civil War.

  • 8th May 2015 - Agents of SHIELD may appear
Thanks to Randolph for the heads up.

Actor Clark Gregg revealed in an exclusive interview that he thinks that the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) TV series, "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D," could play a part in the third Captain America film, "Civil War."

Gregg, who plays Director Phil Coulson in the TV series and in earlier MCU films, said in an exclusive interview with ComicBook.com that S.H.I.E.L.D is responsible for pushing the registration of super heroes and super-powered humans in the comic books.

"If you've ever read any of the Civil War comics, you'll know that S.H.I.E.L.D. is very much part of a group that's trying to register the (super heroes), and that really divides and forces some S.H.I.E.L.D. agents... to really decide which side of that conflict they're on," Gregg explained.

The Civil War is a multi-title storyline arc in the Marvel comic books that pits two groups of superheroes against each other in a war. One side is led by Iron Man who supports the Superhuman Registration Act, while the other side opposes the Act under the leadership of Captain America.

  • 7th May - Production Begins - Press Release
Marvel Studios has commenced principal photography at Pinewood Studios in Atlanta, Georgia on “Captain America: Civil War,” the third installment of its Super Hero franchise. The production will shoot on location in Atlanta, Georgia, which serves as the base for the film’s production, as well as locations in Germany, Puerto Rico and Iceland.

Set for release in the United States on May 6, 2016, “Captain America: Civil War” is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo (Marvel’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” “Community”) from a screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely (“Captain America: The Winter Solider,” Marvel’s “Captain America: The First Avenger”). The film returns Chris Evans (“Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” Marvel’s “Avengers: Age of Ultron”) as the iconic Super Hero character Steve Rogers/Captain America along with Robert Downey Jr. (“Avengers: Age of Ultron,” Marvel’s “Iron Man 3”) as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Scarlett Johansson (“Avengers: Age of Ultron,” “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”) as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, Sebastian Stan (“Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” “Captain America: The First Avenger”) as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, Anthony Mackie (“Avengers: Age of Ultron,” “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”) as Sam Wilson/Falcon, Paul Bettany (“Avengers: Age of Ultron,” “Iron Man 3”) as The Vision, Jeremy Renner (“Avengers: Age of Ultron,” Marvel’s “The Avengers”) as Clint Barton/Hawkeye, Don Cheadle (“Avengers: Age of Ultron,” “Iron Man 3”) as Jim Rhodes/War Machine and Elizabeth Olsen (“Avengers: Age of Ultron,” “Godzilla”) as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch.

After his debut in Marvel’s “Ant-Man” on July 17, 2015, Paul Rudd (“Ant-Man,” ”Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues”) will make his first appearance alongside the Avengers as Scott Lang/Ant-Man in “Captain America: Civil War.”

The film also includes outstanding additional cast, including Chadwick Boseman (“42,” “Get on Up”) as T’Challa/Black Panther, Emily VanCamp (“Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” “Revenge”) as Sharon Carter/Agent 13, Daniel Brühl (“Inglourious Basterds,” “Bourne Ultimatum”), Frank Grillo (“Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” “Warrior”) as Brock Rumlow/Crossbones, William Hurt (“A History of Violence,” Marvel’s “The Incredible Hulk”) as General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross and Martin Freeman (“The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey,” “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies”).

“Captain America: Civil War” picks up where “Avengers: Age of Ultron” left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.

Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” is produced by Marvel Studios’ president, Kevin Feige, with Louis D’Esposito, Alan Fine, Victoria Alonso, Patricia Whitcher, Nate Moore and Stan Lee serving as executive producers.

Directors Joe and Anthony Russo’s creative team also includes director of photography Trent Opaloch (“Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” “Elysium”), production designer Owen Paterson (“Godzilla,” “Matrix”), and three time Oscar®-nominated costume designer Judianna Makovsky (“Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone”).

Based on the Marvel comic character first published in 1941, “Captain America: Civil War ” continues the lineage of epic big-screen adventures chronicled in “Iron Man,” “The Incredible Hulk,” “Iron Man 2,” “Thor,” “Captain America: The First Avenger,” “Marvel's The Avengers,” “Iron Man 3,” “Thor: The Dark World,” “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” “Guardians of the Galaxy,” “Avengers: Age of Ultron” and the upcoming release schedule, which includes Marvel’s “Ant-Man” on July 17, 2015, Marvel’s “Doctor Strange,” on November 4, 2016, Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy 2,” on May 5, 2017, and Marvel’s “Thor: Ragnarok,” on November 3, 2017.

Marvel Studios most recently continued its unprecedented success with the release of “Avengers: Age of Ultron” on May 1, 2015. The film recorded the second biggest opening weekend of all time with a $191.3 million box office. It has also been the #1 release in every country where it has been released.

  • 7th May 2015 - Emily VanCamp Reprising Her Role As Agent 13
In the wake of Revenge ending its four-season run on ABC, sources tell Deadline that actress Emily VanCamp is returning as Agent 13 aka Kate aka Sharon Carter in Walt Disney Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War. Sharon Carter appeared briefly in Captain America: Winter Soldier as the superhero’s next door neighbor under the alias of Kate. She is ordered by S.H.I.E.L.D. to protect him. Her storyline in Civil War is under wraps. Sharon is also the niece of Peggy Carter, Captain America’s love interest in the first feature installment, who also had her own miniseries on ABC, Agent Carter, earlier this year.

  • 5th May 2015 - Martin Freeman Joins Cast
Marvel's "Captain America: Civil War" has added another name to its growing cast with Martin Freeman, who will make his debut in the film.

"From his roles as Bilbo Baggins and Doctor Watson to Tim in 'The Office,' Martin's range from the dramatic to the comedic has consistently impressed us," said "Captain America: Civil War" Producer Kevin Feige. "We couldn't be more honored or excited to have such a talented actor join the Marvel Cinematic Universe."

  • 27th April 2015 - Daniel Bruhl's Role Revealed
It is, and Hollywood has noticed, too. Brühl has just been cast in the new Captain America, as the villain, Baron Helmut Zemo – “I think I can tell you that without being thrown into Marvel prison…” – and starts shooting at the end of April. “For the first few days I’ll walk around like a little boy, just amazed by the megalomania of it. It’s such a huge project. We could do 20 films with the budget.”

  • 15th April 2015 - Scarlet Witch Will Be Included
Finally Joss was like ‘Let’s use those plates to let Scarlet Witch fly into frame, give her a big entrance?’ And that makes sense - she’s come to their side, and she deserves the cool intro, which will feed into another movie we start shooting in a few weeks.

  • 23rd March 2015 - Rumor - Marvel Auditioned 16 Year Old Mateus Ward For Spider-Man
I had heard from solid sources that Marvel was looking at some 16 and 17 year old actors; now a new (untested) source has chimed in to say that Mateus Ward, a child actor from Showtime's Weeds, auditioned for the role. It was so super secret they held the audition at a house, not any sort of office, but word leaks out (16 year olds can't keep their mouths shut). Does this mean Ward will get the role? I don't know, and I'm not really familiar with the kid's work, but if true it does show that Marvel is indeed casting young. They don't want a Peter Parker (and look at Ward -he would be Peter Parker, not Miles Morales) turning 35 as they begin production on his third film. Like I said, this is a new source, but the information backs up other stuff I've been told by other sources I know well.

I've been very vocal about wanting Marvel to cast young for the role - I think a legitimately teenaged Peter Parker is a striking outsider when compared against the grown men playing Iron Man and Captain America. We've had 'high school Peter Parker' on film before, but this will be the first time it will be a truly high school aged actor playing the role, and that will visually pay off in spades.

  • 20th March 2015 - Plot Revealed
Following the events of Age of Ultron, the collective governments of the world pass an act designed to regulate all superhuman activity. This polarizes opinion amongst the Avengers, causing two factions to side with Iron Man or Captain America, which causes an epic battle between former allies.

  • 20th Jan 2015 - Updated Synopsis
    CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR

In the next planned storyline, billionaire Tony Stark is pitted against Captain America aka Steve Rogers in an ethical face-off over the U.S. government’s Superhuman Registration Act, which requires all super-powered individuals to register their powers and report to S.H.I.E.L.D.

  • 15th Jan 2015 - Black Widow Confirmed to Appear
Joe and Anthony Russo were in Beijing today when the Captain America: The Winter Soldier directors were pressed about returning to helm the 2016 follow-up, which they reassure will commence principal photography in April. "We've been preparing for the movie since the last one debuted last year," said Anthony. "So, we've been working on it for a long time now. We're very happy how it's coming along. Captain America 3 is gonna be called Captain America: Civil War and it's going to star Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson will be back, Winter Soldier [Sebastian Stan] will be back, and Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man will also be joining us in the next film." It had been reported previously that Natasha Romanoff, aka the Black Widow, was expected to play a part in Civil War, but it's nice to know for sure that she won't be killed off in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Furthermore, after promising that Bucky aka the Winter Soldier, will play a big part in the movie, the Russo duo were asked what new element will Civil War bring to the Captain America franchise. In response, Joe Russo stated the obvious: "The new element in this film is that Captain America and Iron Man get into a fight with each other." About that fallout, co-writer Stephen McFeely promises that it will be... "untidy." Anyhow, watch the full interview with the Russos below where they address whether or not China will have any influence on the movie.

  • 14th November 2014 - Daniel Bruhl joins cast as Villian
Daniel Bruhl (“Rush,” “Inglourious Basterds”) has joined the cast of Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War,” set to rock the Marvel Cinematic Universe on May 6, 2016.

The celebrated actor earned Golden Globe, SAG, BAFTA and Critics’ Choice nominations for his role as Niki Lauda in director Ron Howard’s “Rush.” In addition to Howard, Bruhl has also worked with other esteemed directors such as Quentin Tarantino, Paul Greengrass, Anton Corbijn, and Michael Winterbottom.

Bruhl joins Chris Evans (Captain America), Robert Downey, Jr. (Iron Man), and Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther) in “Captain America: Civil War,” with Joe and Anthony Russo returning to direct after this year's hit Marvel's “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.”

“With Daniel's ability to deliver intense, nuanced performances, we knew we had found yet another great actor to share the screen with some of our biggest heroes,” said Producer Kevin Feige.

Bruhl is represented by Tavistock Wood Management, Players Agentur Management, and WME.

Oh boy, can't wait for the trailers.

    ReplyDelete
  22. The Iron Man suit looks interesting.

    Ditto the consept art...

Not sure they need any more cast members but oooookay... It's a good thing it's Martin Freeman and I can make an exeption in rolling my eyes.

    ReplyDelete
  23. What's "HH"??

    ReplyDelete
  24. Historical_Materialist6 May 2015 at 19:46

I just noticed in the first look key art from May 4th with Cap and Iron Man: Cap has a beard.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Butterfly_fairy6 May 2015 at 21:24

Well he is a fugitive in this one so we think it's own for several months of hard living.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Butterfly_fairy6 May 2015 at 21:24

Thought he would be on the pro side.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Wasn't too hot on Emily's take on Sharron but I was expecting her to show up in the movie...

Steve's suit doesn't seem to be very different from the AoU one. Good... I like that look they've been giving him from WS and onwards the most.

  28. Goodbye Revenge 😢 2011-20157 May 2015 at 07:01

Good for emily! She is so excited. Sad to see her go on revenge though of course

    ReplyDelete
  29. Happy for the Sharon confirmation, hoping she may turn up in AOS next season as well.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Butterfly_fairy7 May 2015 at 12:59

Uh oh, if I remember right this isn't going to go so well. Considering what I've heard wth Sharon.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Yes!! I've been waiting for confirmation of Sharon returning! So glad that Emily is returning!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Aryam Manzueta7 May 2015 at 13:37

She NEEDS to be in the spin-off. I think in the spin-off Coulson will order Mockingbird and Hunter to form a new team, and I really hope they recruit Sharon..

    ReplyDelete
  33. Bobbi and Sharon in a team together? Too much awesome to handle!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Justin Valdes7 May 2015 at 16:47

Emily returning as Sharon Carter in Civil War - All the YES to this!! Best news all day.

    ReplyDelete
  35. SO I assume the Spiderman casting has to be announced in the next couple of days.

    ReplyDelete
  36. and apparently William Hurt as General Ross. Now THIS is awesome :D

    ReplyDelete
  37. He only has a cameo in the movie so it could still be a few more weeks.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I thought Cobie was supposed to return too?

    ReplyDelete
  39. Yey i was kinda worried that vision and don chedel character were not going to appear but they are which is good. As well as having antman and william hurts character in the movie is a nice touch at bringing all the movies together. :D

    ReplyDelete
  40. Justin Valdes7 May 2015 at 17:36

Yup, just read that a few moments ago! :D Also Paul Rudd is going to be in it as well! This movie is jampacked with so many characters, I really hope the Russo brothers can deliver (they honestly should make the movie 3 hours long IMO since so much stuff happens during Civil War).

    ReplyDelete
  41. Wait what? Only a cameo? I thought he would have a bigger role in this whole struggle about declaring or not? Why even appear at this point? o.O

    ReplyDelete
  42. Yay EVC! Now I need her to have more than 5 freaking minutes of screentime... if you've seen Revenge, you know how much dramatic range and talent she's got. She needs to appear on AoS or its spin-off, too.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Thought the same thing....

    ReplyDelete
  44. And in a corner somewhere in America right now Mark Ruffalo is crying, seriously pretty much everyone else is in this film apart from Bruce and Thor (who at least has a solo movie), I feel for Ruffalo as I know he loves the character and so do I *sighs*

In happier news really great to see Vision has being confirmed. Very intriguing that General Ross is back, maybe he is hell bent on trying to find Bruce for the destruction caused in AOU (even if he doesn't appear).

    ReplyDelete
  45. So that press release pretty much confirms that everyone and their mother will indeed be in this movie...
Betcha Laura and the kids will pop up in there too eventually...

    ReplyDelete
  46. Butterfly_fairy7 May 2015 at 18:38

Hope so if Clint joins Cap they'd need to batten down the hatches

    ReplyDelete
  47. It will give the Russo Brothers practice with juggling all those characters because Avengers 3 is gonna be much much bigger!

    ReplyDelete
  48. Justin Valdes7 May 2015 at 18:52

Oh you're so right, Lou!! Infinity War is going to be absolutely insane, with all these characters!

    ReplyDelete
  49. No Samuel Jackson or Cobie Smulders? If it's true color me very surprised.

    ReplyDelete
  50. This is gonna be great- Plot not so much, but just seeing capt doing his thing. each Capt. America Movie has been a very good surprise for me.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Adrianne and Chloe were "randomly" both in the same city in Georgia at the same time a few days ago so...

    ReplyDelete
  52. I would love if they made a small cameo... just to link both movie and tv series.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I'm very much hoping she'll at least recur on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. next year.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Ooh boy, the cast of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. may appear? PLEASE!!

    ReplyDelete
  55. That would be great!

    ReplyDelete
  56. Butterfly_fairy8 May 2015 at 17:01

Oh please have mercy! Please let Coulson believe in Cap don't turn your back on him now Phil!

    ReplyDelete
  57. Let's cross our fingers, that would be so cool.

    ReplyDelete
  58. At least in the comics SHIELD is executing the SRA. And the way Coulson is acting against the Inhumans, who want exactly the same as Cap, there is not a chance for that.

    ReplyDelete
  59. I have no idea how they will feature so many people in one movie. Fans love when they add people but when they watch the movie they will complain certain characters were not developed properly, of course not. Look at the ridiculous big cast this movie has.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Given what is going on and Skye's powers I could see it actually make sense to have a cameo...

    ReplyDelete
  61. Most of them will be glorified cameos... that's a given

    ReplyDelete
  62. Re the AoS possible crossover
Well they've been setting up a Civil War vibe on the show, so it seems like a logical idea to crossover with the movie... baring how the movie pans out.
I think it might end up being more crossover-y than the last two times, but not too much more...

    ReplyDelete
  63. is he really though? i mean he didn't even start the War and especially after finding out that Jiaying was Skye's mother, his stance changed

    ReplyDelete
  64. Agents of SHIELD might appear in the movie?! AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  65. He's still the director of SHIELD and he even put Skye on the Index. At least he wanted all Inhumans on the Index a conflict was inevitable and SHIELD has no permission to act that way anymore as it is a rogue organisation on the run from every government of the world itself since "Winter Soldier".

    ReplyDelete
  66. Yessssss, our AoS have to appear!!

    ReplyDelete
  67. Butterfly_fairy9 May 2015 at 20:31

    Proof or it didn't happen.

    ReplyDelete
  68. This is rough if the plot really leaked. Read just a couple of tidbits, seems quite interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  69. If AOS appears in the movie OMG that would so amazing and pretty cool to see Steve's reaction if he sees Coulson alive and well and Director of the SHIELD.

SHIELD definitely should do somethig about the leaks, it's really a problem.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Butterfly_fairy9 May 2015 at 21:14

    How'd you read it?

    ReplyDelete
  71. Butterfly_fairy9 May 2015 at 21:17

Omg if it's true! Sounds very exciting

    ReplyDelete
  72. That leak is probably complete BS especially as its 4Chan and they troll a whole lot.

Also it doesn't mention anyone like Ant-Man or General Ross who are definitely in the film.

So yeah not really believing it. Leaks happen but not usually this early and its more respectable movie blogs that get the scoop.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Greice Moreira9 May 2015 at 22:28

A lot of people reading the leaked script got trolled. It's so obvious fake. The author didn't know that antman and gen Ross would appear and this was their mistake. 4chan house of trolls XD

    ReplyDelete
  74. Greice Moreira9 May 2015 at 22:28

It's not a real leak. It's fan fiction hehe

    ReplyDelete
  75. Greice Moreira9 May 2015 at 22:30

It's so obvious fake. I can't believe people are falling for that.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Yeah but we can dream about it ;)

    ReplyDelete
  77. TheLensOfTruth11 May 2015 at 00:11

Dr. John Watson, a new agent of SHIELD who was requested because he's the only one who can tolerate Tony Stark's ego for extended periods of time, given his experience with Sherlock Holmes.

    ReplyDelete
  78. I think I can refrain from reading that leak...

    ReplyDelete
  79. Emily looks stunning, not that I'm surprised or anything. I wish her to snatch a good pilot in 2016.

    ReplyDelete
  80. LovelyParisian15 May 2015 at 10:50

Oh Chris ! <3 Looking dapper boy....*dirty thoughts coming*

    ReplyDelete
  81. It's obviously fake. The author of the script didn't know the cast list yet.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Honestly, I don't get how they get from "it may play a role" to "the cast might appear". Steve can mention in an offhand manner how SHIELD handled registration so far and that's it.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Butterfly_fairy15 May 2015 at 11:56

    It begins!

    ReplyDelete
  84. It´s look like a funeral...Peggy Carter?

    ReplyDelete
  85. LovelyParisian15 May 2015 at 12:23

According to Tumblr and the medias, they were shooting a funeral scene, so yeah it could be Peggy Carter since Sharon is there...

    ReplyDelete
  86. It's Hawkeye's wife funeral.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Historical_Materialist15 May 2015 at 17:40

I agree. This is Peggy's funeral. I suspect this is also where Steve finds out that Sharon is related to Peggy. They go for coffee afterwards and the rest is history.... that is of course until what many of us knows happens on the footsteps of the courthouse at the end of the movie..... duh, duh, duh!

    ReplyDelete
  88. I think it is :( Poor Peggy I knew it would happen eventually but still

    ReplyDelete
  89. Emily looks great! I love love emily vancamp❤

    ReplyDelete
  90. Historical_Materialist15 May 2015 at 20:48

Yup. That's Crossbones. Looks like its gonna be one hell of a fight. Cap's shield looks like its taking major explosive fire and Crossbone's hydraulic fists look quite bad ass. The Russos know how to put an action sequence on screen so this should be good.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Maybe it's not a fake but it could be a very early draft...

    ReplyDelete
  92. Really Bucky you didn't cut you hair?

    ReplyDelete
  93. LovelyParisian16 May 2015 at 18:50

    Darth Bucky ! 😈 😂

    ReplyDelete
  94. Aneta Maćkowiak16 May 2015 at 19:03

Bucky now officially looks like Snape :D

    ReplyDelete
  95. Chris has one more movie in his contract doesn't he?
I'm unclear if Infinity War counts as one movie or two.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Bucky's photo is not from Civil War!
It was taken on the set of CA:The Winter Soldier. It's an old photo. The only picture we have of Bucky is the one Sebastian Stan uploaded on his Instagram.

    ReplyDelete
  97. The flag confirms it. That's Peggy's funeral. :(

She's one of my favourite female characters in the MCU and while I know we'll see more of her (at least one more season of Agent Carter) I still think it'll be really hard for me to see her funeral.

I care too much about these fictional characters..!

    ReplyDelete
  98. LovelyParisian16 May 2015 at 20:30

Oops my bad ! I was the one who send the link to the mods. And yeah, apparently it was from CA : The WS :/ So dear mods, please accept my apologies and feel free to delete the picture :)

    ReplyDelete
  99. agreed that's certainly Peggys funeral but that isn't neccessarily a bad or sad death. She lived long, lived to see her love return. She had a fullfilled and long life. Not many Marvel characters are going to be blessed with that.

Hell, we pretty much know that at some point Steve will die a horrible death, Spider-Man will turn into a spider creature a fifth time only to then never return as he dies within his cucoon and the worst fate is what the incredible Hulk is going to endure: he'll live forever

    ReplyDelete
  100. No worries..I didn't realize it at first either and I got really excited for a while.Alas,we need to wait some more. ; )

    ReplyDelete
  101. That will be a tough moment for Steve! Their timing is incredible and that death will certainly push Steve in this movie.
Honestly it's a pretty good call to do it in this movie. I just hope we get a couple more Agent Carter seasons. ^^

    ReplyDelete
  102. Surely will, she was pretty much THE woman in his life. If only he could travel back in time :P (time gem)

Certainly is, killing her now is going to fuel the fire in Steve to push him into that fight with Tony.

Didn't Agent Carter do rather underwhelming in season 1?

    ReplyDelete
  103. Really looking forward to Civil War and somebody finally kicking Stark's metal ...

Carter did well. Think averaged around 1,4, what is good I think it could be way better of course. Overall I think the fans loved it and for a filler show that aren't bad numbers. U didn't watch it?

    ReplyDelete
  104. Wow alive for 95 years!

    ReplyDelete
  105. lol, I'm not sure anyone's going to kick Starks butt, in fact isn't he the one who holds most cards in this one?

    It did? Good :D
I did, only long after its premiere

not sure where else to post this one:

    ReplyDelete
  106. I don't know to much about the plot, don't want to be spoiled to much. I know that CA and Iron Man will fight about that Hero registration law. And I hope they will actually fight and that Stark will get whaylt he deserves. He annoys me so much.

That is a neat poster. Official artwork or fanmade?

    ReplyDelete
  107. I knew it... :(

Well she's in her late 90s'... It was a-comin'... heartbreaking as it will be...

    ReplyDelete
  108. Butterfly_fairy18 May 2015 at 20:48

Poor Bucky, first a slave now and escaped fugitive.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Ramon Leonardo18 May 2015 at 22:10

So Civil War is basically an Avengers 2.5, which is awesome by the way.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Sad for our Peggy but hey, how many comic book characters can say they lived well into their 90's and died a natural, non-horrific death? I'm guessing you can count them on the fingers of one hand, and won't even need ALL of those fingers. So that's a comforting thought.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Holly molly how bad are they in keep stuff secret. They should really work on their security.
And how lame does tha fight look. I assume in the movie it'll look like they fly. #lmao

    ReplyDelete
  112. Justyna Kubica20 May 2015 at 11:02

I absolutely love these daily updates! Makes the waiting for the movie so much better ;) Thank you team!

    ReplyDelete
  113. Well, it's B-Roll footage. Everything looks lame and silly in B-Roll.

    ReplyDelete
  114. It's stunt footage. It's not supposed to look theatrical yet.

    ReplyDelete
  115. It was a joke. Didn't meant it seriously.

    ReplyDelete
  116. i like the hulk but i dont want him to appear in CAP3

    ReplyDelete
  117. Will Scarlet Witch get her code name??
Very excited to see her and Vision again!

    ReplyDelete
  118. Aryam Manzueta22 May 2015 at 04:12

Maybe someone can confirm or deny this, but I'm pretty sure there are more people on Captain America 3 than on The Avengers 2...

    ReplyDelete
  119. Love Mark... love his Bruce... but I don't know if I want him to appear in this... as much sense as it might make... mostly because the cast is too over-bloated already... I'm sure they'll make it work though. We'll see.

    ReplyDelete
  120. No Nick Fury?! Only two Marvel loves left for Jackson?!

God damn. I hope Marvel extends his contract (and also for all the Avengers members).

    ReplyDelete
  121. I bet Jackson at least ends up with a cameo in this. I can't imagine no Fury at all.

    ReplyDelete
  122. STOPtheMADNESS4 June 2015 at 00:45

I like how they're slowly fazing out the original characters (which was inevitable).

Heres my guess at who replaces them.

    Fury - Coulson
    Widow - Mockingbird
    Hill - ?
    Iron Man - War Machine
    Thor - Vision
    Hawkeye - ?
    Hulk - Scarlet Witch
Cap - Falcon takes over as Cap or Ant Man takes over as leader.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Thought the cast is supper cluttered, Fury not being around is weird... hope they have a good explanation for his absence at lease.

    ReplyDelete
  124. You're right, it's gonna be weird not seeing him, I love Fury and Samuel L. Jackson has such a good prensence and is really good as an actor.

    ReplyDelete
  125. This is so disappointing to me, after AoU. I wasn't truly happy with how he was used in that movie and now to hear that he won't be in CW. I don't get it.

    ReplyDelete
  126. You are right about Marvel phasing out the originals. Their time is almost up and Marvel is looking to the future and that means building a truly shared universe that isn't working out so well now because a lot of the MCU as it is now was shaped years ago as they were still figuring things out with their solo titles back then. I still see much of the original cast as MCU Phase 1 that, up until AoU, didn't include anyone else outside of their little group and now it's time to start expanding and shift focus in order to grow the brand because RDJ, CE and CH, the big headliners are nearing their end. We've seen Rhody and Falcon before but the level of characterisation is still very minimal that you could do without them, not like Wanda in AoU but eventually marvel's going to have to start pushing these secondary characters from being background noise or Stark/Steve's sounding boards.

    ReplyDelete
  127. I do get it, because I think part of the reason he was underused in AoU was because that cast too was also overcrowded.
And even though I'm sure the majority of the confirmed appearances will in fact be glorified cameos, CW still has a huge amount of characters to cater to. I'm just sad that Fury probably got dropped because of that.

    ReplyDelete
  128. I get it too but it's still so sad.....for me as a fan. It's worse when realising he's only got two more appearances in his contract. Marvel needs to up it so he can appear in more. I want more Sam, they need more Sam in these movies.

    ReplyDelete
  129. SLJ just makes everything better...
I'm sure they'll try and renew his contract, and I don't think he'll be that hard to resign himself. He always seems too chill about work and is just in it for the fun.

    ReplyDelete
  130. I'd rather they keep Spider-Man away from my Captain America movies but there is something seriously going on with all of these appearances.

    ReplyDelete
  131. I think Falcon won't take over for Captain America. I've got the feeling that he will be sort of Hawkeye while The Winter Soldier will be the new Captain America..

    ReplyDelete
  132. Kevin Feige confirms what everybody already knew... but ok... nice to have official word I guess...

    ReplyDelete
  133. Pretty sure that trailer is fake..

    ReplyDelete
  134. Absolutely no way that is fake.

    ReplyDelete
  135. I've seen some trailers and clips before that I could have sworn were real, but ended up just being really good fakes ( like the fake Spider-Man Post Credit Scene). I have a feeling this trailer is one of them.

    ReplyDelete
  136. AWESOME TEASER!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  137. This came out a while ago and I think it's been confirmed that it's fake.
    It's really impressive though..

    ReplyDelete
  138. LovelyParisian15 July 2015 at 23:44

I have submitted to SpoilerTv the Ant-Man post-credit scene, in which Sam, Steve and Bucky appears. It was posted into Ant-Man movie news roundup ;)

    ReplyDelete
  139. How many movies does Chris Evans have left in his contract?
