  1. Interesting episode. Ill have to watch it again to have a better view of it though.

  2. OMG, It was just so good! That ending was really shocker, even that the cure is really something boring.

    ReplyDelete
  3. That sex scene between Stefan and Caroline was still weirdly sweet even without their humanity. But after nearly half a decade of shipping it, it FINALLY happened.

    ReplyDelete
  4. One of the better eps. I liked Stefan and Caroline as the bad couple. Really loved the creepy dessicated vampires. That was such a good twist. And I hope they show us how Kai survives them. I'm already really liking Lily Salvatore. I hope she gets to stick around awhile.

The only thing that I hated was the stupid cure thing. If they cure Elena, I am so done with this show. I really wish they had dropped that whole thing.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Damn that cure. Give it to crazy-ass Lily or dump it down the drain... or maybe slip it in Enzo's blood bag. That would be funny.

    ReplyDelete
  6. I am so tired of them throwing the cure around I cant believe they brought it back. I have a bad feeling they will wind up trying to give it to Stefan an if they do I am done with this show!

    ReplyDelete
  7. Why couldn't we see Caroline and Stefan have sex? Lol but of course delena gets to have a million scenes like that.

    ReplyDelete
  8. I figured the reason they had Bonnie go all the way up there for the cure. I think Damon might drink it though if Ian is not coming back for Season 7. Although it could be Elena, then we'd have a Stefan/Caroline/Elena triangle.

I can't believe they made Steroline so toxic. I think it may signal a return of Stelena - because Elena & Stefan was healthier than this.

    ReplyDelete
  9. It was exactly like the Forwood sex scene in Season 5. Both Forwood & Steroline had sex on the floor of that dorm room.

    ReplyDelete
  10. How clever to use the cure again, God i loved that twist! Even though i'm 99% sure that it's use to bring problems to thw Delena paradise. Maybe they will use t for Lily but she'll die like Katherine :/ Stefan and Caroline are amazing (i was hoping for a Delena dialogue saying something bad about Steroline like they did with the sire bond when Delena had their first sexy experiance :P i know i'm bad)but i hope this hole without-humanity thing won't lost THAT much cos i remember in season 4 the "without-humanity" Elena and then was the worst part of the hole show.
I don't know if i trust Lily i hope she is as good as she says she is and help her boys.
Last, I FEEL SO SORRY FOR KAI DAMN IT!!!!!!! I love him so much and now that finally Bon Bon have some more script, she has to be bitchy? :( Bring poor baby Kai back please! I'm scared that Chris is going to leave because of this new show that he's playing the leading part.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Kat Graham is criminally underused on this show. I love Bonnie, great character and beautifully played by Kat.

Loved every minute of the Stefan/Caroline interaction. Highly entertaining and massively dysfunctional. ..fun. seriously done with Enzo and sadly the Sarah storyline will continue. I loved the Kai/Bonnie scenes. Bonnie is so messed up but angry/bitter/vindictive Bonnie is a BAMF. At the same time I felt bad for how far to the darside she's fallen.

The last scene made me wonder if they really are setting up an Elena exit. Seemed weird and totally out of place so late in the season.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I have no problems with Sara but I agree with the rest.

    ReplyDelete
  13. What's freaking me out is Ian said in a recent interview that he didn't think Damon and Elena were endgame. He was hinting at something. I hope it's not the stupid cure. I'd rather he give it to Lily or Caroline instead.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Kai is the best thing that happened to Vampire Diaries in a long time...please bring him back asap!

    ReplyDelete
  15. Never take Somerhalder's quotes about the show seriously.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I don't have a problem with Sara, it's the fact that Sara is tied to Enzo, that makes me dread the continued storyline.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I get that completely. They're waiting too long to toss her in with the rest of the Salvatores.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Nina will be back for Season 7, but Ian might not be so the dynamics might shift a lot.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Another excellent episode. This season, for me at least, is shaping up to be my most favorite. I love every story line going on right now.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I LOVED THIS EPISODE I HAD SO MUCH FUN WATCHING!!! Ohhh my couple kicks ass!! They were so much fun. The banter, the back and forth games, it was hilarious!!! I even enjoyed their make out scene. But Fucccckkkkk!!! I kept saying, Please don't sleep together, please don't sleep together!!! I DID NOT WANT THAT AT ALL!!! They weren't supposed to sleep together!!! NOT NOW!!! AND HOW TF DID THEY GET TO THAT ROOM???!!!! I'm chucking this up tooo...IT WAS NOT THEM!!! I'm not counting this as a moment for them. No way in hell. AND NOBODY BETTER F**K WITH ME ABOUT IT CUZ I'm FREAKING LIVID!! Gonna move on....

I don't trust Lily Salvatore one freaking bit. She can cry and spin her story any way she likes, but I don't trust her at all. She definitely has something up her sleeve, and I'm glad Damon isn't dropping his guard. This plan is a sucky plan. I don't see it working at all. I see Lily making this worse not better. But Elena being the typical girl of "omg it's your mom. How do I look? Idk what to call her." Was so cute. Lol I know I ridiculed her earlier, but looking at the other scenes, I actually found that funny. Every woman goes through that with their boyfriends mothers, then again the mother aren't ripper imprisoned in a spiritual prison, so I don't take back my insult from earlier. But I am glad she took the picture of Damon.

I really liked my Bonkai scenes. I wanted more. But I'm glad Bonnie put him in there, b/c as much as I loved him, the OLD HIM, I need a break from this new him. Him getting into everyone's good graces is very tiresome! So if those dessicated vamps killed him...well that sucks! Only b/c I think he deserved a much better death than that! That was so lame!! Oh and kudos Kai for mentioning Crocodile Dundee. Lol I love that movie. Mick Dundee: "That's not a knife...that's a knife." Hahahahahaha I liked that joke, idgaf what Bonnie said.

Sooo we're back to this cure business. Yeahhh, I'm not even going to waste time on that. Next...

Surprisingly and Ironically Alaric and Enzo's team up was refreshing. That's very weird. But the apologizing thing to Sarah, then turning her whole life around with one "slip of the tongue"?? Ughhh, such a dick. As for Alaric, him and Jo were cute-ish. I mean nothing says love like, "I only need you for 18 years, then you can go die." Right Jo?

I really liked this episode. But I want my couple back!!! Episode 18 that's it. I want them back so they can start their loving relationship!! And not have these shenanigans!! once was enough. Not cool JULIE!! FU JULIE!

April 16th. So it begins. Heavy Sigh!!!

    ReplyDelete
  21. I like all those options. But i vote the last one.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I didn't like it. They were "sweet and happy" w/o their humanity. Nope!! Doesn't count for me at all. Not what i wanted. They need to get their switch on and have a real relationship, then i can say, "it finally happened." This wasn't them. So excuse me if i don't want to celebrate it.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Yeah Ian is known to love to toy with what you expect to hear and saying something else :)

    ReplyDelete
  24. Their sexiness would explode the television. Causing men to ejaculate and women to orgasm just from the overwhelming sexual tension. It's why Klaroline scenes were always censored too.

    ReplyDelete
  25. But they mostly runied him so he can go.

    ReplyDelete
  26. johnsonsphotos0620 March 2015 at 01:49

ok so i guess stefan did turn off his humanity.... sorry to be rude/blunt but...idiot... lol i would of faked it. and he isn't acting like he usually does when its off... idk man... confused...

    ReplyDelete
  27. johnsonsphotos0620 March 2015 at 01:51

on another notes... bummed Stefan and Caroline's first time was under these circumstances... shame that they don't have their feelings on and it would of been really beautiful if they waited i think. but don't get me wrong... i still enjoyed it.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Interesting, for some reason I thought Nina was the holdout and the guys had both signed. Do we know for a fact that Nina signed and Ian didn't or is it all just rumors at this point?

    ReplyDelete
  29. I jut see it this way even with their humanity off they want to be together :) I don't see it as a bad thing at all

    ReplyDelete
  30. I also had a feeling that it's Nina that's the holdout, not Ian. I think both Paul and Ian have signed

    ReplyDelete
  31. I like it, they're still Caroline and Stefan without their humanity

    ReplyDelete
  32. lol I'm sorry you didn't like it, but I had minor problems with it myself.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Medication time for some people here.

    ReplyDelete
  34. NO NO NON NO NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO MORE CURE CRAP FORGET ABOUT THAT DAMN CURE COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lillian Salvatore is one CRAZY woman, damn it why did i have to feel sorry for Kai DAMN IT!!!! maybe stefan the Ripper IS back

    ReplyDelete
  35. sucks doesn't it though? i was so SURE he was faking but he was already in Ripper mode before the episode even started

    ReplyDelete
  36. not him though, like stefan said: Caroline's an embarrassment to humanity-free vampires everywhere!

    ReplyDelete
  37. same her, COME ON!!!! she's happy as a vampire

    ReplyDelete
  38. It's just not feasible that they would wait when their inhibitions are so lowered.

    ReplyDelete
  39. they can't give the cure to centuries-old vampires they'd die, they could give to Lily to kill her

    ReplyDelete
  40. Bertha Strongham20 March 2015 at 02:14

Whoa....does Kai have a thing for Bonnie?
    Totally nutty epi.
I thought Damon and Bonnie were an item.....

    ReplyDelete
  41. yeah it was strange, i h0nestly thought it was just a make-out session not the whole she-bang (no pun intended LOL)

    ReplyDelete
  42. This wasn't supposed to happy with their humanity off. That what bugs me. What i CAN appreciate is that yes, they do want to be together, Stefan definitely wants to be with her, he made that really clear in their first scene. And even after trying to kill her, he still saved her from Alaric and Enzo in the hallway. I'm THRILLED they didn't show the sex scene. B/c it would've ruined everything.

I didn't want to see them having sex so i'm glad they didn't. I believe TPTB held back on that for a reason. IT WASN'T THEM! And when it IS them, then they'll show it. Another thing i can appreciate is the way they filmed the sex scene. The angle has never been like that for any sex scene on this show. AND despite their humanity being off they sure cared A LOT MORE to make it a romantic setting!! They were cozy, and comfortable. Pillows, and blankets laid out, with laughter in front of the fire place. Embraced in one another, not wanting to get up. Possibly going another round. That's the only thing i could appreciate.

So it wasn't a total f*ck up, and wayyy better than any other sex scene in this series. I'd say it was the second best sex scene in the series. Right behind when Delena first had sex. (b/c that really was passionate), and Beremy following right after. They made that really romantic. And based off of Caroline's reaction, and Bonnie's, i think it was safe to say that Bonnie was a virgin, which is why they waited so long.

But yeah, anyway, Dark Steroline kept it romantic, so i can deal with that.

    ReplyDelete
  43. strange isn't? i mean he's being a Ripper but it's less pronounced than what we've seen before, is that right?

    ReplyDelete
  44. Caroline SUCKS at being humanity-free like stefan said but yeah same feelings about what they did BUT also agree how great the scene was

    ReplyDelete
  45. Bertha Strongham20 March 2015 at 02:19

    Agreed!

    ReplyDelete
  46. you know what's worse, they made him sane and BECAUSE he's sane it made it completely heartwrenching when he was left there, i hope he died so he won't be in pain forever

    ReplyDelete
  47. That's cool. I just see it a little differently in that it is still them with their humanity off. It's just they have no restrictions or inhibitions and can revel in the vampire parts of themselves that are always present, ie wanting to kill.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I wonder if the 'nurse' who feed Lily her blood could have possibly been nurse Lexie.

( Lily died in 1858 and was trapped in her prison world on Oct 31 1903 well at the New York Harbour )

    ReplyDelete
  49. Bertha Strongham20 March 2015 at 02:23

I bet Sara turns into a vampire, as she has Elena's blood in her and then they give her the cure.

As we know with Katherine, the cure taken by an older vamp on hastens their death. Its basically a death wish to them.

    ReplyDelete
  50. nice on the first Delena love scenes back in season 4 they should've done that, PAYBACK!, yeah Lily is a wackjob. I hated feeling sorry for Kai, why did have to make him a semi-ally!!!

    ReplyDelete
  51. Lexi?! that'd be crazy

    ReplyDelete
  52. Caroline is probably are very different, one-off kind of vampire and that no matter what she can control herself it's just for very different reasons. With her humanity off the reason she wants to stay in control is simply she doesn't want to caught, that just makes her smart.

    ReplyDelete
  53. doesn't want to get caught implies she cares and a humanity-free vampire could give a rat's behind about getting caught, so no she completely sucks a humanity-free vampire

    ReplyDelete
  54. I just think it's interesting that when Stefan's humanity was off in season 3 he didn't really care about Elena aside from keeping her safe which was what Klaus wanted. However now he clearly has feeling for Caroline and this still translates to when his humanity is off as well.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Crazy yet awesome !!!
Anyone know off hand where Lexie was in 1858 ? What year did she meet Stefan again ?

    ReplyDelete
  56. As was correctly pointed out to me while discussing this the other day, it wasn't the cure that hastened Katherine's death. It was only after Silas had drained all the cure from her body that she started to deteriorate.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I wonder if Lily's 'traveling' companions will turn out to be important character from TVD universe/mythology we have or haven't seen in flashbacks/met before once he are no longer desiccated.

Any thoughts on who they might turn out to be ?

    ReplyDelete
  58. She only cares because she doesn't want to get locked up not because she cares about peoples lives. That makes her smart in my mind

    ReplyDelete
  59. he's like Spike now isn't he? when he didn't have his soul he still took care of Dawn after Buffy died and fell in love with Buffy. He's supposed to be a completely humanity-free pyschopath!

    ReplyDelete
  60. apparently she WAS a nurse but she met him in 1864 WAY after Lily was turned. So it doesn't pan out

    ReplyDelete
  61. still shouldn't care,THAT implies fear

    ReplyDelete
  62. Enzo becomes more and more irritating with each episode. When is he going to stop being a part of the show?

    ReplyDelete
  63. Great reference I loved Spike/Buffy. But you're right :)

    ReplyDelete
  64. That's where we differ. It wasn't them w/o their inhibitions. If They had their switch on and still wanted to revel, then i'd say it was them just having fun. But even here you can see that they were in there. Stefan didn't want to kill her, he wanted his girl to take that hell ride together and back to reality. And when they're back to reality, THEN i can be happy about w/e move they make romantically. But they're definitely a pair, good or evil. That i can enjoy.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Bertha Strongham20 March 2015 at 02:44

    Hopefully it works....I guess....

    ReplyDelete
  66. Yes it does. Stefan won't have be involved with nurse Lexie turning his mother in the TB ward when he was just 11 years old. She could have been working as a nurse back then too.

    ReplyDelete
  67. I'm glad we can semi-agree? I don't want to upset a fellow steroline shipper :)

    ReplyDelete
  68. oh wow that a shot in the dark LOL i wasn't sure if you'd get the reference ha!

    ReplyDelete
  69. She doesn't suck. Her OCD went into overdrive with her humanity off. I still found her entertaining in this episode, and she was extremely entertaining in last week's episode. But she was a different kinda fun with Stefan being apart of it tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I can agree to semi-agree. And thank you. I really wasn't kidding about being pissed off in my comment. Think i'll need a few days to calm down about this.

    ReplyDelete
  71. That's why I think they started calling it the humanity switch (instead of the previous dialogue where they would talk of turning off their emotions). In every version where one of these vampires has turned off their humanity they still have shown some variation of emotions.

    ReplyDelete
  72. I can't believe we only have 5 more episodes once the show returns on April 19th.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Lol I'm a huge Buffy fan, happy to have met another one :)

    ReplyDelete
  74. If they have to use it, I'm with you. I hope they give it to someone like Sarah because I was relieved when the main cast got past considering this cure nonsense.

    ReplyDelete
  75. That's Ok, I've gotten upset over storylines before too.

    ReplyDelete
  76. I actually REALLY REALLY hope they give it to Stefan. he deserves it more than anyone

    ReplyDelete
  77. well actually i'm more of an Angel fan than Buffy but i like Buffy sorry

    ReplyDelete
  78. damn. I was hoping Lily would be way more interesting
don't really care about her "family" of vampires

    ReplyDelete
  79. it actually showed how BONKERS she is

    ReplyDelete
  80. but why is Caroline showing the MOST emotion? why her out of Elena, Damon and stefan?

    ReplyDelete
  81. not me i enjoyed the episode but Caroline sucks at being humanity-free. Caring about going to school still, caring about some audition?! come on what IS that?!

    ReplyDelete
  82. Not as good as last week but i love aroline and Stephan crazyness. I dont know why i feel ad for Kai maybe because Luke was still in him and he is trapped too? and he has a vampire to care of.

Lol for a moment i thought Damon was gonna ask Bonnie for a thresome.

The cure be like. *Surprise, bitch! I bet you thought you'd seen the last of meSurprise, bitch! I bet you thought you'd seen the last of me"

    ReplyDelete
  83. I loved Angel too until they got rid of Cordelia and then I gave up on the show

    ReplyDelete
  84. Paul confirmed he signed, Nina has as well I think, but Ian has not. Ian has always been bad mouthing the show/Delena a lot of conventions recently and I know a lot of people think he has one foot out the door. With all the Ian & Nina BTS drama, I think he may just be ready to be done and get married and move on with his life.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Katherine was fine until Silas sucked it out of her. If Damon takes it and nobody drinks his blood, he'll be fine.

    ReplyDelete
  86. yeah the Cordelia arc was heartbreaking AND disgusting because the whole Oedipus thing

    ReplyDelete
  87. They were probably rippers, too. Lily took the blame for all the killings, but if they were with her, it was probably the whole group of them. She said they were family, wonder if there's any truth to that. A few of them could be related to her.

    ReplyDelete
  88. she's cuckoo for cocoa puffs, Damon said it himself she's a crazy Ripper with a dollhouse of dessicated vampires

    ReplyDelete
  89. I'm not sure that she is, but if you're right maybe it has something to do with that she seems the most human out of all of them? Which is weird cause I didn't like Caroline when she was human. But I would argue that vampire Caroline seems to be more compassionate and humane than Stefan, Elena and Damon, so maybe that has something to do with it.

    ReplyDelete
  90. hmm that'd be cool then, it would also suck if Lexi was still alive and found the person she thought she was saving turned into into a psychopathic Ripper that's killed over 3,000 people

    ReplyDelete
  91. i could see that, because she's showing a copious amounts of emotions

    ReplyDelete
  92. Really I thought it was the other way around especially since I thought Nina wanted to go more into movies. I always think that Ian seems gracious about the show, but not necessarily Delena which probably has to do with what's going on offscreen

    ReplyDelete
  93. Hey Shannon..... I'm still not totally convinced Stefan flipped his switch....It was way too easy for him to stop feeding on the girl.... the Director was just a causality to make a point to Caro....So maybe half your couple had their emotions. lol

    ReplyDelete
  94. Yea, but that would explain her devotion to keeping Stefan on a "rippah free" path

    ReplyDelete
  95. You Misunderstand yet again. She'sssss a control freak!!! The only reason she wanted to keep that routine is so she could still have a life in a year! WHEN she decides to turn her humanity back on. She and Stefan made that very clear. Another reason she wanted to keep the routine is so she wouldn't bring suspicion to the authorities! (which reminded her of her mother, something she did not want to be reminded of) She could do what she wanted, when she wanted, However she wanted, without being caught!! That was the point. She was being careful, not stupid. And THAT'S what Stefan wanted her to get rid of, Her control, not her caring.

    ReplyDelete
  96. I know I hated it so I didn't watch season 5. Also there were rumours on the net at that time that the actress got fired because she fell pregnant, so I felt justified in not watching.

    ReplyDelete
  97. yeah part of me is thinking why i kept watching

    ReplyDelete
  98. ok agree to disagree, she's a humanity-free vampire that's showing CRAZY amounts of emotions

    ReplyDelete
  99. Hey, Sighh. Stefan has had control over his bloodlust for a long while. Killing or feeding wasn't going to change that. This is no humanity Stefan. Not Ripper Stefan. So it was no surprise. Humanity-less Stefan has control over his bloodlust. And they didn't have their emotions. So i was wrong about Stefan faking it.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Bertha Strongham20 March 2015 at 03:41

    AGREED!

    ReplyDelete
  101. he ripped a head off, i guess after that he just got bored and wanted to turn Caroline into a TRUE humanity-free vampire that doesn't care AT ALL

    ReplyDelete
  102. ooh very very nice theory, you're good

    ReplyDelete
  103. Where to begin with this "AWESOME" episode?
Caroline/Stefan - not really with this "ship", but the "1 - up game" they played tonight was so great/funny (directors and motorcycles.............really, lol) that it made the "horse pill" ending that much easier to swallow!
Lily Salvatore - such a nice and polite "CRAZY LADY"! Can't wait to see what she does as well as the fate of her family of "six"!
Enzo - really liked his scenes with Caro and 'Ric............reminded me of how much I miss the old/real Enzo. Now if the "last chains" of his mediocre storyline (pursuit of Sara and punish Stefan..........talking to you, Jules) are broken............"Enzo one liners" for everyone!
Kai - well................so much for "born again" Mali(Kai). Lesson for the episode is don't "burn" a Bennett witch, especially when her name is..............................Bonnie (really slick of Damon to offer her a chance at revenge, while asking her for help)! And speaking of everyone's favorite witch.......................!
Bonnie - Kat Graham is so much more than just a "co - star" and Bonnie is well beyond just being a "supporting character" (both for a long time now)! I'm really liking "bad/mean/vengeful" Bonnie (talking to you again, Jules). There are to options I'd really like to see for our witch Bonnie: she takes a road trip to New Orleans to help sort $#!T out (Elijah and "Not Bex" could use the help) since the "Big Easy" is a mess or give Kat Graham/Bonnie Bennett her very own series (are you listening, Jules)...................."The Pancake Diaries" anyone? BECAUSE DIARIES ARE STILL 4 READING, I am still Nobody!!!

    ReplyDelete
  104. Was season 5 as bad as season 4?

    ReplyDelete
  105. That was revenge for Caroline's sake yes.But he still wasn't in Ripper mode. Stefan doesn't need his humanity off to be a ripper actually he's been Ripper with his humanity on and relished in it! This was NOT his ripper side. His ripper side consists of him having his humanity on, NOT being able to control his bloodlust, and shredding bodies left and right, THEN when he feels remorse, he puts them back together. Stefan has had control over his bloodlust for a long time. and when he has his humanity off he still has control. (as we've seen before) So it should be no surprise or confusion about how in control he was tonight. If you know the difference between the two (which i just explained best i could) then it's really not hard to understand.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Omgggg. Every vampire on this show whose had their humanity off, always showed a glimpse of emotion especially when it came to theirselves. Damon, Stefan, Elena, even Enzo. Sigh I'm tired of trying to explain it. Let someone else explain it to you. Maybe they can clear it better.

    ReplyDelete
  107. well they ran Wolfram and Hart, Connor's memory was wiped but then got them back, Fred and Wesley finally got together, Fred died and her soul was destroyed with an alien named Illyria who took her place on the team, Lindsey came back. you make your choice

    ReplyDelete
  108. OK I'm glad I skipped it :)

    ReplyDelete
  109. So .... since there is a 'Cure' as well as a Silas headstone in ever prison world ... what about a Other side ?

Do they still exist in 1903 and 1994 you think ?

    ReplyDelete
  110. Just now seeing this so i'll reply quickly. I'm tired.

The only reason Stefan kept Elena safe was b/c he was compelled to by Klaus. If he wasn't compelled it would've went much differently. This situation here, is so much different with Steroline. (deeper more meaningful) Stefan protecting Caroline from harm tonight, was b/c he didn't want her dead. He wanted the pleasure of breaking her out of revenge. (To embrace her vamperism) And since he was the one to get her to control her vamperism, he'd be the only one to break her. Just like he's the only one that can get her switch back on. So he's playing off his knowledge that he knows he's Caroline's emotional trigger. (just like she was aware of what her trigger was) He made it clear that he'd break her no matter how long it took. Now that he's done that. He still plans on "taking that hell ride" together for a year. And that they'd turn it on together. Which he stated tonight. That's what makes it different, he's sticking with her. It's kinda poetic when you think about it. Humanity on or off he still chooses to stay with her.

    ReplyDelete
  111. I'm so glad he wasn't Ripper Stefan (especially with Caroline as a character to bounce off of) is so much fun.

    ReplyDelete
  112. He'd die from rapid aging. Only Caroline or Elena would live because they've only been vampires for two years.

    ReplyDelete
  113. That's a hypothesize I agree with. But we unfortunately don't know if it's true.

    ReplyDelete
  114. Well the last time it was off he was compelled, so it's different. That and he wasn't around a second humanity less vampire.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Glad somebody else sees it that way.

    ReplyDelete
  116. no he won't. only if someone drains him of his blood like Silas did to Katherine. besides this is TVD if the plot requires it I'm sure they can find some witchy way to cure Stefan, Lily and even her entire "family" of vampires.

    ReplyDelete
  117. You had "problems" I'll take that as..."yes Shannon, i understand your pain. I too, felt iffy about it." (tries to smirk but can't mood messed up)

    ReplyDelete
  118. There isn;t any definitive proof of that.

    ReplyDelete
  119. Katherine said so herself. so there's no reason to question it

    ReplyDelete
  120. if it were up to me. they'd be her coven of witches and one of them is a Bennet which will help Kai escape using his blood. but that probably won't happen :\
I really hope there's some supernatural explanation why Stefan and his mom are rippers

    ReplyDelete
  121. LOL yeah but it was all throughout you know? Doyle, Cordelia, Fred a lot of deaths during the show oof it was hard

    ReplyDelete
  122. Terrific episodeI haven't been a fan of the Caroline turning off her emotions story, nor did I like the idea of Stefan doing the same thing, but wow....watching both of them off the hinge, driving each other crazy, was incredibly entertaining....I always forget how good an actor Paul Wesley is. He plays a bad person really well, atlhough. I still keep wondering if he's pretending and doing this to save Caroline. It's kind of strange that Caroline was so willing to have Liam eviscerate Sarah, but kept trying to protect everyone Stefan wanted to kill....in this episode, she almost seemed like the old Caroline, especially compared to Stefan.

My other favourite parts involved Kai and Bonnie. Now that Kai isn't torturing Bonnie, I can finally see what people were talking about when they said that the two characters had incredible chemistry.. Kat is also just killing it this season.( I never realized what a good actress she was, until now). Bonnie leaving Kai in 1903 was the perfect payback for what he did to her, although watching Kai's little sad-face, made me feel sorry for him. I do hope this isn't the last of Kai...at least not yet. Of all the guest characters they've had, he's my favorite by a mile, and is one of the reasons this season has been so much better. I wish they had made him a show regular...but I suppose he really does deserve to be the lead in his own show.

Another question that bugged me: If Kai ends up becoming the next meal for Lily's dessicated family and he dies, doesn't that mean the end for the Gemini coven including Jo? He wasn't able to kill himself in his own 1994 prison, but I'm assuming he can be killed in this realm. I wouldn't be surprised if Jolaric forced Damon to bring him back, once again putting him in a tough spot between Alaric and Bonnie, who is currently in a very dark place.

The Lily storyline is somewhat interesting, but I suspect it will get better. Her "family" of desiccated vampires was very creepy, but after being trapped in another realm for over 100 years, I can sort of understand why they were so important to her, and also why she'd want to save them.given what they sacrificed for her (assuming she was telling them the truth) .

So our speculations about Bonnie getting the cure for Damon were correct! And as someone else predicted, Damon no longer wants the cure. for her, because he's probably worried that she'll pull away from him. Their chemistry has been off, ever since Elena erased their memories.

    ReplyDelete
  123. hmm that's true, like in the flashback of when he met Klaus he was sort of in control of his bloodlust, even if he ripped the head off that guy with his teeth

    ReplyDelete
  124. No. That was his Ripper days with Klaus, he didn't have control. He was relishing it then.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Not as strong installment as the previous one but pretty decent regardless.
    Positives-
1.I loved Lily this episode. Her entry was poised and with commanding screen presence befitting such important character. Can't wait to see her ripper mode along with stefan. This would be fun!
2.Bonnie was badass again, the writers weren't kidding when they said she would be changed completely after she returns. The scenes between her and kai were terrific.
3.Kai is left in the 1903 prison world, for now and i'm quite okay with that.I can't wait to find out what will happen to him now.A predictable but satisfying move from the writers.
4.Enzo is becoming less annoying by every episode.I'm still not sure why would he drop the bomb on the salvatore identity in front of sarah if he was trying to get her out of this mess especially now when stefan is in rippah-mode.Once a dick, always a dick!LOL!I loved his scenes with alaric this episode.
4.This version of stefan is so much more fun than brooding, normal stefan. The chemistry between stefan and caroline is spectacular.More of them, please!

    Now the negatives-
1.The hookup will create major problems for steroline down the line,so i'm not a fan this happened at this time!
2.Not again with this CURE storyline-i thought we were done with that,i guess not.
3.I expected elaborate FB scenes of lily of her ripper days-i have no idea why they didn't show that!
4.Not happy with Alaric's storyline this season-i'm happy that he's going to be a father and all that but still.....
5.And where on earth are Matt & TYler-Looks like the writers forgot them completely. What are they doing amongst this chaos?

    ReplyDelete
  126. then what the heck's this?

    ReplyDelete
  127. Future Predictions-1.Enzo will take the cure in the finale and start aging like katherine.
    2.Leaving
the gemini coven leader in the prison world after the merge has
happened will create major problems in the supernatural world and all
hell will break loose along with Lily's minions.
3.The nurse who fed lily her blood will most definitely turn out to be Lexie.
4.Jo will give birth to twins and die in the finale.
5.Bamon will officially become a couple.(this part is pure wish on my part,so humor me)

    ReplyDelete
  128. Katherine was fine till the moment Silas drained her. She had a couple of colds but after and hour in the Salvatore tub she was fine.
So you got to get drained.

    ReplyDelete
  129. I agree with the theory, but that could be mere correlation. The writers need to confirm it.

    ReplyDelete
  130. Think they want the lingering suspense to be over our heads till the end of the season.

    ReplyDelete
  131. Best is implication. Which could work, but also means the writers could just say f*ck it and ensure rapid aging if they wanted to be dicks if Elena or someone else takes it? I really wish it wasn't returned to the plot.

    ReplyDelete
  132. aaaaWW LOVE YOUR SUMMARY SUPER SWEET STEROLINE:)

    ReplyDelete
  133. The most underrated scene of the episode:
Damon to Lily: "These people may be your family but Stefan Salvatore is mine."
And I died! Defan feels!!!! The show is toying with my feelings...

Let me get over myself and I'll be back with a proper comment on the episode...

    ReplyDelete
  134. Omg, I know! That was such a huge Defan moment!

    ReplyDelete
  135. A lot of hate for the return of the cure here. But I liked it. A truly thoughtful gesture of Bonnie to retrieve that for Damon. It speaks to the depth of the bond they forged while trapped together. I teared up.

    ReplyDelete
  136. MEGA FACEPALM! Re-read my previous comment. Then leave me alone for the rest of the night. Please and thank you.

    ReplyDelete
  137. Ok, so...This was a good episode. I liked the previous one better but this one was pretty good too
    Positive:
1.No humanity Stefan + No humanity Caroline= an enjoyable hour of television. Never flip that switch back on please (Kidding...We all remember Elena's extended no humanity time) but it IS fun watching these two like this. I never liked Steroline but no humanity Steroline is awesome.
    2. Damon, dude, do NOT let your guard down. I repeat, DON'T! Lily seems way too calm to be without a troubling agenda.
3.Bamon made up! Good. I can die happy.
4.Bonnie was plain BADASS! I love Kai, don't get me wrong but Bonnie had every right to get revenge on him. Go Girl!
5.Damn Elena. You do have a personality...Was she drunk or sth? She seemed more fun than usual. I burst out laughing when she looked at the picture of Stefan and thought it was mini-Damon. The look on Damon's face...LOL
    6. "Saving Lily" mission is reminding me of "Saving Katherine" mission in season 1. Season 1 feelz! The look on Damon's face is painfully familiar too. Besides how similar that "Hello mother" was to that "Hello brother" we all died hearing in the Pilot?
7."These people may be your family but Stefan Salvatore is mine."

    Negative:
    1. The cure returns! Ian Somerhaldar once threatened to throw himself down a building if he was to even pronounce that word again. I'm worried. Very worried...
    2. Predictable. This episode, again thanks to the spoiler overload had many predictable parts (except for Lily's secret. The look on my face matched Damon and Elena's when she revealed she had guests)
    3. Stefan is an idiot. He didn't fake it. How easier it would be if he was faking it...It's official guys! Damon's got the IQ while Stefan has the wisdom/morals. Unfortunately neither work without the other on this show.

    so...8/10. I overlooked the cure part or I would've given it a 7!

    ReplyDelete
  138. And we are back to this cure crap, seriously?

    ReplyDelete
  139. I hate what they did to Enzo's character. I really love him but I hate his story line and how he went from Caroline's most stable friend to nothing. At least they are getting some scenes now. I just think tvd has so much information on the characters and they don't use it. It's like they make a story line and if fans like it or not they drop it or proceed. I don't know I'm just frustrated with this show haha

    ReplyDelete
  140. um, yeah! gotta looooove the recycling and the rehashing of old storylines! guess they went to their amazing roots *rolls eyes* : No humanity Stefan, Salvatore family drama, a rare cure that Elena ponders on taking for the millionth time...

can this show get any lower...!

    ReplyDelete
  141. Thanks what I meant except you said it more eloquently than I did lol

    ReplyDelete
  142. No Kai! I heard the actor has signed up for another show, but I really hope this is not the last time we see him.

    ReplyDelete
  143. It was a great gesture. The fact that Bonnie retrieved the cure and gave it to Damon instead of directly to Elena, spoke volumes of their friendship. I wonder what Elena will think when she finds out that Bonnie let Damon decide whether to give Elena the cure instead of giving it to Elena herself. Will she see it as a shift in loyalty? Also, Bonnie mentioned that she wasn't giving it to her mother because surprisingly her mother was happy as a vampire. That was news to me....I really thought her mom hated being a vampire. .

    ReplyDelete
  144. Cure? Again? Why?

    ReplyDelete
  145. Stefan did nothing but piss me off in this ep, he was super annoying!
I loved Bonnie in this ep, it's fun to see her like a super bad ass.
I felt kind of bad for Kai tho.. when they left him in the prison world (omgwhatishappeningtome)
and I'm pretty sure Elena is not the one who's going to take the cure, Damon's probably going to give it to his mom or maybe even Stefan idk...

    ReplyDelete
  146. I agree. Bonnie has just made Damon's life infinitely more difficult by "gifting" him with the cure, because now he has the responsibility of what to do with it.

Things are different now than they were a couple of seasons ago. Elena has made peace with being a vampire and if she takes the cure that would mean the end of her eternity with Damon, assuming she still wants that. Stefan doesn't seem to be angsting over his vampirism any more. Caroline makes a better vampire than a human, current events aside. Give it to Lily? Damon is still angry at his mother because she abandoned him and Stefan. He hangs on to the past like crazy. But even should he change, and Stefan is happy to have her back, Lily has gone creepily insane! What purpose would it serve to turn her loose on the world, human or otherwise?

So, that leaves only one person - Damon. I know, he said to Bonnie, suppose he doesn't want to give it to Elena. Does that imply he's just toss it? But please - doesn't ANYBODY remember that in Season 2 Damon drunkenly and tearfully confessed to the ill-fated Jessica that he's not human and he misses it every day?! When he told Elena he would never want to go back to being a weak human I thought well, he's just saying that because he wants her to have no reservations about taking the cure for herself if she wants it. Are we supposed to just forget about one of the most dramatic scenes in the entire series and say "never mind"?

I almost wish they hadn't started this game of musical chairs with the cure again. But of course it sets up conflict and you can't have good drama without that.

    ReplyDelete
  147. I love your predictions #1 and #6, I definitely don't mind watching Enzo losing his hair and teeth. And Bamon really needs more screentime. I agree with 2 and 4..leaving Kai in the prison world is going to have its consequences, especially if he ends up as vampire food. And I don't think that Jo and Liv can merge the way Kai and Luke did...so doest that mean the coven will die out? Liv and Jo's father is still alive, so maybe he'll have to be the acting leader. I agree about prediction 3. Jo will give birth to twins, who may be forced to merge when they get older.

Regarding Enzo, I think he's going to end up being Damon's real father, but not Stefan's, which might explain the hostility.

    ReplyDelete
  148. I was wondering if one of them might be a Bennet witch. However, since they're now vampires, I don't think they can be witches anymore....at least that was the logic Damon used to prevent Esther from using the Bennett bloodline. He killed Abby and turned her into a vampire, so that her blood would no longer be any good.

    ReplyDelete
  149. LOL. Exactly. Klaus got Stefan to become a Ripper by feeding him tons of blood, not by making him turn off his emotions. Unfortunately, I'm not sure that the writers have always been consistent about the difference, though.

So this episode was actually REALLY good, I missed Ian’s touch on it but it had some awesome moments (mostly with dark steroline):

    1) I’m so glad that the whole stupid, too risky plan was Elena’s idea! And that Damon kept calling her up on stupidity of it! That girl really IS getting dumber and dumber every single episode, gosh... Dumber and more annoying (also did Damon just really say that himself, LOL), it was almost over the top in this episode, i.e. Elena is officially a complete moron after this.

    2) Dark steroline! Oh, goodie... Can I just say that they are THE funniest and one of the hottest plots we’ve ever had? Seriously, I was looking forward to them so much and yet they managed to blow my mind. They are absolutely killing it! And no, I don’t really think this is recycled plot – so far we’ve always had one vampire without their humanity, but two vampires without their humanity interacting, that just gives a whole new dimension to the thing. (And I totally loved how Caroline „rippered“ Stefan’s motorbike, LOL). And I STILL have no idea whether Stefan is faking it or not, so that was nicely done as well.

    3) Bonnie is officially the new badass in town. The „So have I! “ was super powerful, for a second I almost felt sorry for Kai...

    4) Bamon, my bamon! When Damon and Elena were making out like that, I just KNEW that Bonnie is going to catch them. Omg, they really aren’t subtle about bamon anymore, are they? Not that I mind, not in the slightest, LOL... And I feel it in my bones that it’s only going to get more pronounced in the rest of the season, because the amount of bamon scenes we get these days and then THAT scene, *bamon teasing intensifies*...

    THE MOST ACCIDENTALLY HILARIOUS SCENE:

„Who said YOU're coming?“ – I had to pause the episode after this because I kept laughing for a good minute. Oh, boy, Damon is really beginning to realize how horrible and risky is doing such plans with Elena, isn’t he?

    FORSHADOWING:

Ok, so with the amount of bamon teasing and how much heavier it gets every episode... And with Damon getting way more realistic about Elena (did somebody else also feel like he’s not THAT into her anymore? at least not as much as he used to be?) and closer to Bonnie... I’m completely sure that before this season ends, we’ll get some BIG step from delena to bamon, either delena’s breakup (for good this time) or something like a scene where Damon makes out with Elena, only to catch himself imagining Bonnie instead (oops). Really, after this episode I’m willing to bet that they ARE going to go there with bamon.

    ReplyDelete
  151. I liked the episode and I’m looking forward to seeing where this takes us. I can’t see Mama Salvator as a sweet, calm, collected lady (Damon must get his snarky, cockiness from somewhere right?)….when she’s not a ripper, I’d like to see her as a mix of Damon and Stefan’s characters. But I hope this isn’t another woman in Damon’s life who preferred Stefan over him….cause that will just tick me off. Time will tell I guess. Anyway, I wonder what Lily will say when she finds out Elena has loved both her boys?? I think I’d enjoy seeing Elena have to work for Mama Salvator’s approval. I can just see Elena now, that would drive her nuts! lol

One thing that didn’t sit well with me was Lily’s comment that she had heard Damon and Stefan had changed….ok, HOW?!?! There’s definitely more to this than what we’ve seen.

Plus side, I’m glad Bonnie isn’t mad at Damon anymore! YAY! And while I don’t blame her for leaving Kia there (or trying to kill him) I was actually kinda sad cause I like his character. As Forest would say “he’s like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get” I wonder which Kia will make it back from this prison world…?

    What is Enzo’s purpose again….????

Caroline needs to wash her hair….. O.O

Ok, time for Sarah to join the family reunion!!

    ReplyDelete
  152. well while they are at the "cure" why dont they go to nova scotia in 1903 and get that one also??? then Damon and Elena could both take it and have Babies...lol

    ReplyDelete
  153. AND now that i think about it....Kai said last week that if he died the coven dies and all the prison worlds ,,,,, so will all those Vampires be free , and running loose? Then that would be kinda like a repeat of Ghost world ..

    ReplyDelete
  154. Qwerty1212 no.220 March 2015 at 13:58

    Completely agreed on 2, 5 and 6.
I always thought that the business of leaving Kai in the prison is going to be much more complicated then they think (after all he is still in control of the prison world) and now with Lily's companions in the mix... This is going to be interesting.

Enzo being connected to Lily is rather obvious at this point. Hopefully they will use it to improve his storyline and not ruin it (I swear I've seen some progress with him in this episode).

And Bamon becoming a couple is also imho obvious at this point, especially after this episode. That scene with Bonnie catching Damon and Elena making out really wasn't subtle at all... Before this season ends, I'm pretty sure at least one of them is going to realize their feelings for the other.

    ReplyDelete
  155. I really think Enzo is going to have something to do with Lily... they both died of consumption
Enzo has that europian accent. and he has something against Stephen?

    ReplyDelete
  156. Qwerty1212 no.220 March 2015 at 14:05

Agreed on all the positives. Although I don't think the cure will be a problem - with Lily being a crazy ripper, there is like 10% chance that it's gonna be Elena who takes the cure. Instead, they will probably use it to just get their mama Salvatore back...

    ReplyDelete
  157. Qwerty1212 no.220 March 2015 at 14:10

"I wouldn't be surprised if Jolaric forced Damon to bring him back, once again putting him in a tough spot between Alaric and Bonnie, who is currently in a very dark place."

That's quite possible... aaand now I'm worried again.

    ReplyDelete
  158. Didnt watch the episode...but nothing here surprises me.Just like when I knew that Stefan would become a ripper because of what Care asked to do to protect Sarah,I knew that the cure would be brought back.I do not like the Stefan and Caroline pairing and the writers are showing that they had to have sex with their emotions off to click.Stefan has become what he has always fought and here is Care asking him to become that dreaded thing.Worst pairing ever and what a way to start a relationship.Either ...have them coming together with both persons on board..not I like you and Care constantly pushing his buttons for him to feel something for her or leave them as friends.Now..what is Enzos' purpose?I see that he is between Stefan and Elena in both posters and he has "a thing" for Stefan but really??Poor Damon...NOT!!...Mama Salvatore should bring a different story-line and I know that Elena will be become human..either by accident or by taking the cure.

    ReplyDelete
  159. Shhhh.....with that epic love thing.....the writers are really mucking up.

    ReplyDelete
  160. I'm not sure about that, but I'm also not sure he would still want the cure anymore, if he wants to hook up with Caroline. I've read enough paranormal novels to know that if the vampire hero falls in love with someone who's not immortal, the author always finds a way to make them immortal so the couple can have their happily forever after. Caro's already a vampire. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, I say.

    ReplyDelete
  161. Great, now I hate Bonnie's character too. I hope Kai isn't dead, cos if he's gone I'm gone and I just got back into the show :/

    ReplyDelete
  162. I also found myself feeling a bit sorry for Kai. But truthfully his sudden change from completely evil guy to sort of nicer guy, who on top of that seems to be falling for Bonnie, is as difficult for me to absorb as Enzo's semi-rehabilitation. Also, how could Damon put Bonnie in a position where she could revenge herself on Kai? Isn't he smart enough to know that revenge isn't going to make Bonnie feel any better? It might even make her worse because no matter how much she feels she's changed, her violence is not going to sit well with her conscience. I'm very disappointed in Damon. As has often been said on TVD, that was a dick move.

    ReplyDelete
  163. Qwerty1212 no.220 March 2015 at 14:49

IMHO vampires without their humanity act on a mixture of logic and instincts (without emotions). So Caroline's behavior wasn't a sign of emotion, just like you said, it was simply very logical at the moment, plus Caroline is instinctively OCD. And the same thing also perfectly explains Stefan's interest in Caroline this episode, because it runs so deep that he instinctively wants to be with her and protect her...

    ReplyDelete
  164. Qwerty1212 no.220 March 2015 at 14:57

I have to second Rebecca and Morrigan, all signs point to Nina being the one who's contemplating leaving now, not Ian. Nina seems to have more problems with Ian than he has with her now, after he got engaged. Plus she's heavily rumored to be actively trying to push for her movie career. On the other hand Ian is happy that he got the chance to direct an episode, which fits him really well. And while he certainly hates delena, he's more and more confident and chatty about pushing for bamon, which seem to be happening. And he loves working with Kat and the rest of the gang, so...

    ReplyDelete
  165. Qwerty1212 no.220 March 2015 at 15:01

But lately he's noticeably more confident about voicing his opinions in interviews, which makes me think that he has a reason for it (i.e. they are moving in a direction he likes and cares about)...

    ReplyDelete
  166. Probably due to lack of quick and easy transportation in those days!

    ReplyDelete
  167. You're right...that's probably how they'll escape. Having the security of the prison world rely on the leader of the coven being alive doesn't sound like the smartest idea. In fact, a lot of the Gemini coven rules make no sense (like the coven dying because the leader dies)...It just seems like a bunch of lazy plot devices that the writers concocted to achieve a certain end-point..

    ReplyDelete
  168. Oh man not the fu*king cure again, LET ELENA BE A VAMPIRE, she wants forever with Damon, period!!!!!!!
    Overall a great episode

    ReplyDelete
  169. Plus, it would then make sense why they killed off Katherine and haven't brought her back despite the request of viewers. It was probably their first step in gradually phasing out the actress. I didn't like katherine, but she seemed to be popular with a lot of viewers, and TVD doesn't tend to get rid of very popular characters...they just give them their own show! So I'm thinking it will be Nina. D.

    ReplyDelete
  170. I forget when Enzo was turned (mostly cuz I don't pay that much attention when it's about him O.O) was it around the same time as Lily?

    ReplyDelete
  171. So i wasn't the only one who got that vibe from that bamon scene. They stopped a delena makeout for that scene-if that doesn't us something,i don't know what will.I wonder what will happen to elena now if stefan is now with caroline & damon with Bonnie(hopefully)? She surely can't be alone, kai is not an option,so is tyler. So matt??

    ReplyDelete
  172. If they give the cure to Lily she will die the cure speeds up the age of the person who takes it so the only 2 vampires who could take it and survive are Caroline and Elena which would be so dumb to do. Better to keep it hidden for now and maybe use it as a last resort.

    ReplyDelete
  173. told you he would show her what a real bad vamp looks like ihihih. Love Ripper Stefan he's so entertaining. Hope it doesn't last too long.

    ReplyDelete
  174. Interesting episode. Liked all the Stefan and Caroline parts, although i was a bit confused about them mom-son reuinion, it didn't lived up to my expetacions, but i expect Mama Salvatore story to be much more interesting than that. Didn't really care about Bonnie/kai stuff but i feel sorry for Bonnie, everytime she gets an interesting plot they find a way to exclude her from it.

    ReplyDelete
  175. Qwerty1212 no.220 March 2015 at 17:36

Definitely not the only one :) Yes, I think that there is zero chance that this was just a coincidence, in fact it was shot in such a way they I knew that Bonnie is going to interrupt them before she did. Like you said, if this scene doesn't tell us something, I don't know what will... Also was I the only one feeling like Damon is not THAT into Elena anymore, i.e. he's beginning to realize how risky/dumb her plan is, how it's not a good idea to take her on the trip to 1903, even admitting that her over optimism has been rather annoying (while cute as well)?

Good question. I would love to see Elena alone for a while, to catch a breath and do some soul searching since she's the only one of the gang who hasn't spent a minute being alone, so she could really benefit from that. At the same time I know they are probably not going to do that, so... Maybe they will let her leave like Nina wants? And if she is to just find another guy then... If, I repeat if, they can manage to introduce some intriguing new male character in the next season, it might be a good choice. Because I can't really see her with any of the other male characters we have now...

    ReplyDelete
  176. yep you were right LOL

    ReplyDelete
  177. true if you can even call Caroline a humanity-free vampire

    ReplyDelete
  178. There is a second one. If they go back to 1903 and get it I could actually see both Stefan & Damon being cured and that's how the show would end.

    ReplyDelete
  179. That's another major problem this show have-Don't know what to do with a recurring/guest character in the long run-Remember aaron, meredith, tripp, april, ivy ,wes,shane,sloan,liam,liv.luke-etc.Even if they introduce a new male character, which i'm pretty sure they will,he is will just end up as plot-device at best and either get killed/cast off from the show abruptly(remember Liv-Ouch)-So,to be honest,i don't think they will add another series regular in season 7 which very well might end up as the final season. So,the best option here is for elena to get out of Mystic falls for good.

    ReplyDelete
  180. Caroline Dries said Bamon isnt happening so...

    ReplyDelete
  181. She also said Kai will not be redeemed and we all know how that ended up so i wouldn't believe a single word that comes out of her stupid mouth ever again!

    ReplyDelete
  182. He was talking about the 1920s Flashback. But yes, that too. You're correct. And They definitely have been consistent when it comes to that. And even when I'm clearly telling him the difference, he's still not getting it or maybe just refuses to understand. So I can't do anymore. Let him stay confused, or he can have a marathon, and figure it out for himself. Shrugs. No skin off my back.

  183. 1.How did bonnie open the cave back in 1994 when it was closed without the help of a hunter's tattoo?
2.How did the other vampires land up with lily back in 1903 if the prison was meant for lily alone?

  184. 1. I got no idea, I´ve been asking myself the same question.
    2. I suppose that when the Gemini coven saw that they were all together, they inprisoned all of them

  185. Isn't there another cure in 1903? Maybe two vampires will get it. I'm thinking maybe both Salvatores will be cured.

There almost definitely is, but like somebody else here correctly pointed out - how would they get to Nova Scotia and back in reasonable time? I doubt there would be many cars in 1903... They can't use horses or any of these either...

I you are talking about the same article I think you are then no, she didn't. She said that they are doing delena and that they are just doing bamon friendship now, quote:
"I know there are a lot of eager Bamon fans out there, but for now no. His eyes are on Elena 100 percent."

but she talked about the situation back than, i.e. the episodes in January.

If anything, she actually gave us some hope for it because when she was asked if they are going to move towards bamon, she first replied very vaguely and then said that pretty much the only thing that matters for whether they are going to make a ship happen or not, is the amount of on-screen chemistry. Now we all know how much chemistry do Ian and Kat have together...

That's very true, these characters tend to end as a simple plot device... And yes, it WOULD be weird to add a new main character in the final season, or make Elena finally end up with some Mr. Random (looking at you, True Blood), so I agree, make Elena alone or even better, let her leave Mystic Falls and get herself together...

  189. I think maybe Ivan refers to the fact the they are no-humanity Vampires, i mean in the end you still are a vampire and you feed on blood, she should be less in control of herself(even an OCD like Caroline), but i agree that is Caroline personality so logically makes sense, she's more careful and controlled than others Vamps.

Btw can't help it, one more thing about that scene - have you also noticed how hilariously wtf reaction did Damon have when Bonnie caught them? It's really... interesting, LOL

    Perfectly described in this post:

Well, while I have always been a Damon girl, I was a lot like that about Bonnie - I can't believe I've never noticed how amazing can she be... But I absolutely love the new Bonnie that won't let anyone walk over her anymore :) I just hope she's not going to get too dark, i.e. dark enough that she would lose herself or got caught in the guilt spiral...

And I have to agree with Ian that Bonnie really IS the healthy choice for Damon, she not only makes him more likable and less chaotic, I believe he is more himself with her, actually not being afraid to open up and be vulnerable once, which again makes him less psychotic and more happy (he looks so much happier whenever Bonnie is around, awww).

  193. As for Bonnie,i always liked that girl.I knew if given proper treatment in the writing, her character would flourish and that's exactly what happened this season.Bonnie,Alaric,Katherine(R.I.P) & Caroline-these are the only 4 characters for whom i have always felt nothing but love & admiration since the pilot till date.I used to have a crush on stefan earlier, but now i'm indifferent to him.I loved elena in season 1 & 2 but then everything changed and now i can't stand her for one second!
    How times have changed!

And you have obviously been right :) Exactly, things change so much on this show... I actually used to like Elena, in seasons 1-2 a lot, in 3-4 less, but I can't get myself to like her anymore, not after the whole thing with the mind erase etc. Stefan is one of those characters that could be great if they got better writing and more things to do (poor Paul). And I always loved Caroline and Alaric... But while I have been cheering for Bonnie, they never let her be very funny, herself or badass, god forbid, she was mainly used as a plot device, so sadly it was easy for me to underestimate her. What a mistake! And Kat is such an amazing actress as well... I'm so happy they they finally let Bonnie to show her potential :)
