  1. I am so glad Kara got her face back and an actual name. And A+ at brainwashing Bakshi. Great revenge.

But oh my God, that was so creepy tonight. Thank God Ward rejected her but I literally shouted "no" when Kara went in for a hug at the end because I thought it was going to get gross again. Please never do that again even though it was understandable on Kara's end.

Wat at "real SHIELD" being on a boat. That was unexpected. Poor Lance. And poor Skye.

  2. Ward is so gross. It's really stomach turning to watch an entire episode of a monster abusing a woman. Agent 33/Kara is brainwashed and is clearly in mental distress and Ward is using it to his own advantage. He speaks in so many half-truths that pretty much anything he says has to be assumed to be a complete manipulation and lie.

I'm rather neutral on the rest of the episode though because I just...don't care about Lance Hunter. He's just not that interesting that I care about his ~moral dilemma. Or any of the dilemmas, really. Coulson really is a terrible leader and it's completely reasonable based on the in-universe events that the remaining leaders of an organization want to go in a different direction.

I was very glad for the FitzSimmons speech. It didn't feel TOO preachy and felt like it laid out how both of them felt in pretty reasonable ways.

  3. I really, really enjoyed it, this was clearly a set-up episode for the end of season run but there were many things to like about it. Skye/Coulson is still my favourite relationship on this show. I love when he said he may have mishandled the situation as he probably sent away the one person that could repel a coup and one of his only trustworthy coworkers at the moment.Just going by the promo Skye is also on her own with everyone hunting her, so it looks like his move might come back to cost him big time. That is also the point where Skye probably finds Lincoln. Should be an interesting end to the season. ! Ward is definitely a better villain then hero in every sense. It was sad to see him manipulate Kara, clearly everything he was doing was for his own gain and not to help her.

  4. I think Ward is probably my favorite character on the show now. The diner scene looked lifted from Pulp Fiction and the dialogue banter with 33 was also good. Id gladly watch a show called Agents of Hydra.

    ReplyDelete
  5. I definitely think he is way more interesting as the villain and psychopath compared to his S1 character

    ReplyDelete
  6. Ward is a psychopath those scene with him and 33 were downright creepy!
Fitz wants a dog and not a monkey does anyone else think hit hints some foreshadowing about fitzsimmons
Him calling her out on her bullshit was the best Simmons really needs to go back to awesome jemma of season 1
And also next week will be intense may vs Bobbi yessss

  7. I love Ward! He's one of my favorites too.

  8. Ward is still a psycho and eeeeewwwwwwWWWWW at him with Agent 33.

  9. Great episode!!

The introduction of the "real SHIELD" was really well done! I can see why some people think Coulson isn't a great leader especially with him obsessing so much on all the alien DNA stuff that has been happening on the show so I can see where Robert is coming from. Where I don't agree with Gonzales is that he believes that Coulson's keeping secrets just like Fury which is not true at all. Coulson is keeping secrets for something bigger and as a result, doesn't want any more traitors because he has put so many trust in other people's hand who have betrayed him in the past. He's taking a more different/cautious route and I commend that. It's going to be really interesting to see these two organizations with different viewpoints go head to head. Looks like we are touching on some season finale material here and I can't wait to see more it.

Fitz finally standing up for himself when he confronted Simmons and said that she has made the scariest change out of all of them made me cheer so much. That's my Fitzy! I really hope what he said will make Simmons realize what she has been doing this whole and try to fix it.

Ward and Kara were so freaking bizarre but I would be lying if I see I didn't enjoy their storyline in the episode. And brainwashing Bakshi? Perfect payback. One thing I didn't like was Kara disguising herself as Skye with May's hair and proceeding to make out with Grant. I know she's lonely and she's just happy that someone is helping her out but that was so damn creepy. I would not like to see that again please and thank you. Also, it was great to see Talbot again! He was hilarious with trying to figure out who has the mask XD

Skye being transported to a safe house is probably the best thing for her right now. And Coulson gave her gauntlets!! That was cool. But looks like she runs away in next weeks episode so we won't be seeing her there for long. I have a feeling she's going to meet up with a special Inhuman very soon ;)

    ReplyDelete
  10. lol, Agent 33 had to put the Skye mask on, because that would be the only way for Skye to kiss Ward. Not being the real Skye. lmao. That was a great laugh! btw, I really liked this episode. Thank gos the writers are still going with Ward as a big enemy, and he said to Kara the this was only the beggining for them.

But hey, Ward is not so much insane as i thought...he finally understood the Skye does not reciprocate his feelings. It was about time Ward!

I'm a little disappointed about May's reaction in this episode about Skye's situation. And i liked what Fitz said to Simmons. I'm not liking Bobbi too much right now, and I'm very angry about Mack. They will go after Skye because of him. ugh!!

    ReplyDelete
  11. In a way, Ward has more freedom now.. whereas you think he would have less being hunted and all. Its the SHIELD guys who have to be more careful with the OTHER SHIELD there in their face and not knowing who to trust.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I'm a little iffy on Ward. I felt he definitely was helping Kara find herself from his own experiences, but he also has an unknown agenda. So, I'm pretty curious to see what that is and how it ties in to the grand scheme of things. That whole Skye face, May voice, thing was sooo creepy. I had a feeling they would go there this episode, but I was still cringing even though I prepared myself for it. It was great to see the original actress back, I like her so I hope she sticks around for a bit.

I couldn't care less about Hunter and his moral dilemma. He hasn't really developed as a character too much other than comic relief to really make me care about him...so I wasn't really interested. But, I absolutely loved Olmos this episode. I would do absolutely anything his character tells me, he's that cool. I did think it was a little suspicious how he was asking a little too much about Skye, for me anyway. So it made me wonder if he had more of an agenda or if he was just interested in more of Coulson's secrets. I also can't wait to see Bobbie and May confrontation.

I did like Fitz calling Simmons out, but it wasn't very aggressive...which is why I liked it. I really don't find it necessary how some are all "burn Simmons on a stake", so I did enjoy the clearing up of her own emotions/actions. It'll be interesting to see how they react to being "attacked" by Olmost Shield.

May was right about getting rid of Skye, which honestly was the best/smartest thing they could do. Not only that, but now Skye is more conveniently placed for someone like Gordon to swoop in. Or she could possible find a way to save herself and Gordon just arrives in time.

They made Talbot look like a total idiot this episode...So like, yah.

In all honesty, Coulson is a terrible Director. But, he also has had little time to adjust accordingly to everything that has happened to Shield. So, in my opinion, Coulson isn't doing too bad. It was really nice to hear a few stories from his past about Lola and his dad. In my opinion, Coulson is the least developed character, in terms of season 1 cast...but I find that understandable because of the large cast they have. So it will be interesting to see how Coulson can find a way to be on top again.

Skye is exactly where she needs to be right now, alone. Where no one can get to her, well for now. Looks like she's gonna have to go on one mad spirit trip, where she could possibly meet some talking trees and eyeless Inhumans. What got me thinking is what happens when other agencies find out about Skye's powers (Hydra, Olmost Shield). It seemed to me Olmost Shield didn't really know specifically what was happening to Skye (my tv kept cutting in and out at those parts). So when they learn of her location and they/if they some how get some super powered resistance from her, makes me wonder whether Olmos will investigate further.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Plus, he was killing those people for Kara to get her face back and so she could keep her hands clean. It's sweet.

And I can't wait to see their friendship (that's all it better be) develop.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Yeh I thought that about the gauntlets, didn't Coulson specifically ask her to find a way to "stop" Raina and Skye's powers if necessary.

I just want ep 16 now haha <3

    ReplyDelete
  15. happy that they kept "Kara" huh? LOL, I kind of misjudged it though i actually thought that they WERE going to kill him but WOW! brainwashing him?! sweet sweet revenge! the SECOND Hunter got out the door to the outside i was "NO" NO"NO!" i can't be a boat! and then BAM! it's a freaking boat! but I WAS SO FREAKING GLAD Hunter escaped!

    ReplyDelete
  16. Yea it was much more fun watching Ward and Agent 33, no backstabbing.
I liked Hunter, how he true to his character mischievous but loyal. Glad he escaped.

And finally Skye is alone, hope she actually uses that time to learn to use her powers. And wtf kind of Bracelet did Simmons give her that will have side effects.

I ducking loved it when Fitz said Simmons has gone thru the scariest change, so true.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Definitely happy that they kept Kara! And yes, it was sweet revenge.

    ReplyDelete
  18. My question is, where the HELL was 'The Real SHIELD' when everything was coming apart at the seams? Coulson was actually taking HYDRA head-on while they hid like cowards.

    ReplyDelete
  19. me while watching this episode: "bye bye Ward's redemption storyline, you were never here, and no one will miss you"

    ReplyDelete
  20. don't get me wrong if it were me i WOULD kill him but it as cool, although what do we do about Ward (i forgot how TALL he is LOL)

    ReplyDelete
  21. Yah, he did. But I can't tell if it's something like knocking her out, or if it's something actually harmful to Skye. Haha, me too. I wish we had ep 15 this week and ep 16 next week XD

    ReplyDelete
  22. not villain OR psychopath

    ReplyDelete
  23. God look at this we're talking about SHIELD fighting SHIELD, what has the MCU come to?!

    ReplyDelete
  24. WHOA! i was thinking that the WHOLE way about the Cabal unwilling to change, eerie LOL and yeah i liked that i was right about Hunter among all his characteristics he ACTUALLY loyal, i screamed my head off when we found out he escaped

    ReplyDelete
  25. nice, they're all cowards afraid of change. the live in a world where ALIENS actually invaded Earth and they still think they can go about it in a human way

    ReplyDelete
  26. he WILL be redeemed

    ReplyDelete
  27. he just killed two military dudes, and he's using a brainwashed shield agent for his own personal agenda, newsflash...he is a bad guy

    ReplyDelete
  28. Yeh, it possibly harms her when her powers get too strong? or knocks her out like you said. Sounds horrible but I wouldn't put it past Jemma at this stage. I hate how she said "I'm trying to fix her" she doesn't need to be fixed, she just needs help keeping control. Considering Skye's powers are mostly triggered by emotion, by saying what she is she's only making Skye go on an emotional rollercoaster.

    ReplyDelete
  29. For the first time really since the big Hydra reveal at the end of S1 this felt like a filler episode, or an episode which is moving all the pieces into place for future developments but didn't really do much for me.

Though it had some moments I liked, like Fitz telling Simmons she has changed and Lance espacing.

Mostly though I don't care for Ward and his weird relationship with Agent 33, I've enjoyed the break from his character quite frankly.

Next week's episode looks awesome though.

    ReplyDelete
  30. JEMMA SIMMONS, SKYE IS NOT BROKEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! there's nothing to fix!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am so GLAD Hunter escaped but i did not expect for the cabal to be on a ship!!!

    ReplyDelete
  31. except Skyw WILL reciprocate them

    ReplyDelete
  32. nope, he is NOT a villain

    ReplyDelete
  33. This was an OK episode at best, The show keeps getting downhill since Skye's change. Now with this stupid new SHIELD, and Simmons attitude i'm getting more and more frustrated with the show and how is going.

    ReplyDelete
  34. My favorites moments were only Skye/Coulson's scenes, seriously I'm glad that Ward is back but I feel like he has an agenda(btw that was so creepy 33 with Skye's face I didn't like it), talking about Skye, I just want to hug her because based on the trailer of next week episode she's gonna be hunted. And that "real SHIELD" thing is getting on my nerves.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I agree. Clearly a filler episode. Didn't like much. SHIELD vs SHIELD confrontation will happen on the next one. The whole putting some else face is really creepy. I think the writers really like to make Ward a wildcard and mysterious character but he really just come off as a brutal murder and a creepy. It's like they are trying to make him sympathetic with some lines but then he does something that just put you off him. I feell bad for his fans.

  36. Sarah van Binnebeke25 March 2015 at 13:30

I got the feeling that those casts are not supposed to help skye controle her powers maybe inhibiting her powers instead.

    ReplyDelete
  37. "Sweet"? Did you also think Garrett and Ward's relationship was sweet?

    ReplyDelete
  38. What even though? This entire episode was literally him abusing and manipulating a woman who has no agency or ability to make her own choices. While they kidnap, threaten, murder and torture people. He's the worst villain they have on the show.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Ward's not really helping her, he's repeating the same abuse that Garrett did to him on someone who is already brainwashed so he can use her. He didn't tell her the truth once, even when she's clearly supposed to believe he's opening up to her, it's all a manipulation.

I liked the FitzSimmons confrontation too. It's right that it was Fitz because they have a lot of issues with each other right now and they're both right and both wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Liked the story with Kara and Ward (though that dude was so sincere that I didn't believe a single word he said.) Loved this episode's version of Talbot.

Love seeing EJO on screen again but the "real SHIELD" story isn't very interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Half truths! Yes. But what got to me the most was that there were moments that I couldn't tell! (I figured if I couldn't tell whether he was lying or not then he was lying.)

I agree with you about the FitzSimmons final scene.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Yeah I think the Gauntlets might have something like negative feedback, ie something like if she starts "Quaking" they shock her or something. It's why I'm afraid that this might permantly damage the Skye/Coulson/May relationship.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Only if her character undergoes serious shifts to the darkside. Seriously Ward isn't a Good guy, he's a killer that still kills. Skye's not just going to forget the bodycount he's left behind him.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Yeah that's what I'm thinking too since Jemma made the comment about "Fixing Skye", not helping her, not working with her, but Fixing. And with Coulson not being willing to tell SKye about them that plays into possible side effects.

    ReplyDelete
  45. So it's nice that he's still killing random people? Just a question, how many does he have to kill (even assuming you write off those that didn't happen on screen to make it smaller) before he's a BAD guy?

    ReplyDelete
  46. Really? I mean seriously? How many does he have to kill before he's either a Villian or a Psychopath? Cause he's sure as hell not a good guy.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I agree about the side effects. I'm wondering if other Shield is going to find them when Skye leaves and use them to make something worse.

    ReplyDelete
  48. That's not a good thought, particularly as I'm afriad that unless Fitz's comments have meant something for Jemma, I could see her being more comfortable with Other Shield.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Or they could have gone after Hydra. I like how when passing judgement on him they leave out that he's shattered the leadership of Hydra as we know it.

    ReplyDelete
  50. What does he actually have to do to make you think he's a villian? Seriously how much of a body count does he have to clock up?

    ReplyDelete
  51. I don't like it and there was no reason to kill Talbot's men - he could have just knocked them out - but I understand why he killed the guy who helped with Kara's face.

They're screwing over Ward's character for shock value and all of us are sick of it especially since he doesn't deserve that. That episode was a mess last night and it was honestly the worst one. Even the good scenes got tainted by the rest of that disaster.

    ReplyDelete
  52. That entire episode was a mess and the good parts got tainted by that.

Ward isn't manipulating Kara at all - he did all of it to help her get her face back - but I don't like that he killed Talbot's men when he could have just knocked them out. And I'm grateful that he let her down gently. Garrett and Ward's relationship was just an abusive mess and I'm glad he's finally starting to realize that.

I want Kara and Ward to become friends and help each other heal. That's all we ever wanted. Right now the only good thing that happened is that Kara got her face back and a name.

But they need to fix this because literally nobody is happy with what happened last night.

    ReplyDelete
  53. What? Literally everything he said to her and did with her was a manipulation. He's repeating EXACTLY what Garrett did to him. Ward is quite seriously abusing her right now.

    ReplyDelete
  54. All of those that want SkyeWard tinkhis character is being screwed over. I think (and so do others) that it makes sense. You have said that you are ignoring the kills that have been "off screen' as it fits your view. Well now you just had two more on screen kills that match thecharacter that killed his guards, and his family. It's not shock value, it's a good development of existing character traits.

Your just mad as the've pretty much shown that Ward isn't a good guy who isn't trying to "redeem" himself by most views.

    ReplyDelete
  55. SkyeWard shippers aren't happy, that's not everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  56. All Ward fans aren't happy. Everyone I've talked to is unhappy with the episode. This is on the writers and nobody's pleased with them.

    ReplyDelete
  57. It's shock value, plain and simple. I've read fics that were better than this episode.

I'm just sad and upset that the writers are doing this and I hope they fix something soon because last night just wasn't right.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Yah, Coulson had to basically assure her that it was his call and not hers. Jemma seemed hesitant to give them to him to give to Skye. So it makes me wonder if Skye will ever have to use them/put them on at some point next episode and it will mess her up.

    ReplyDelete
  59. In my eyes, whether he is truly helping her from the "good" of his heart or not, doesn't matter to me. But he definitely is playing on her emotions and he is killing two birds with one stone. He's helping her, while at the same time (and more importantly) he is helping himself. Plus, now with her mask fixed, whatever Wards agenda is, Kara is gonna be loads of help.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Do you think Ward doesn't have any alternative motive? because this is the impression we always get with him. The direction writers always take Ward now. You never really know his intentions and by last episode i didn't get the impression he is doing just for friendship.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I'm going to sound totally silly but, when Hunter made it out to the deck of the "real" SHIELD's base, did anyone else momentarily get the impression that he was in outer space and the organization is therefore SWORD? That shot was really dark so it was hard to see the ocean properly, it looked like the ship was just floating in space...

    ReplyDelete
  62. Here's an idea: why don't you discuss things based on the actual show, not SkyeWard fanfiction?

Ward's time in prison hasn't changed him one bit. Maybe he didn't kill the FBI agents who were transferring him or his family, but lo and behold - in this episode, he killed two soldiers. Innocent people who were not threatening him in any way. He is a villain, end of story. If the writers still think they can redeem him after this, they're crazy. Even IF - and that's one major IF - he deserved a second chance after all the shit he'd pulled in Season 1, he just threw that second chance away.

    ReplyDelete
  63. In an odd way, I take heart in Ward killing two more people in this episode because it suggests, to me, that the writers are wise enough not to go down the redemption route. Surely, if they wanted to do that, they'd avoid any more unnecessary killing by his character?

If they're going to try for a redemption WHILE having Ward's body count continue to grow, they're crazy. I'm just going to try to have faith in the writers, since they've been doing such an amazing job on the whole.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Sure, FitzSimmons can be the best man and maid of honor, respectively, at their wedding, and tell stories about how they almost drowned and Fitz ended up with brain damage because of the groom. Good times.

    ReplyDelete
  65. For real. Why do so many viewers want Skye to morph into Bella Swan, exactly?

    ReplyDelete
  66. Like you, I think it fits his character, and it wold play much better if he stays a Lone Wolf, playing both sides off the other.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Blunt but true, it's a huge leap to say that he didn't kill the agents and his family, but here he's clearly demonstrated that he hasn't changed at all as you have said.

    ReplyDelete
  68. It doesn't matter how many innocent people Ward kills as long as he's a hot guy with abs. Meanwhile, watch ivan make comments like "I hate Bobbi and Mack, they're the WORST!!!".

    ReplyDelete
  69. That's my concern as well, though it's just occured to me that suppose we could think poistively and think that will help Skye use her powers. I mean given her views at the moment (anti-gifted), maybe she would be freaked about something that would help Skye.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Nonsense, Ward has been killing since the fall of Shield. It suits his character completely, it's no more shocking then killing his family, or those guards. It's just "shocking" for you as you've admitted that you were aibrushing them out of his character.

    ReplyDelete
  71. And te majority of Ward fans are shippers. There's nothing wrong with how the writers have played his character. It would have been far worse if the writrs had just walked him back into the team as if he was a good guy.

    ReplyDelete
  72. No didn't think they were in space but was curious if it was a helicarrier up in the clouds.

    ReplyDelete
  73. It's crazy, itsuits Ward as a character and it makes a good falen agent storyline. It just makes no sense the rapid support.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I think little used to be sweet Jemma put a tracking device either in the arm wraps she gave Skye or Skye's bag and that is how the Alt-Shield agents locate Skye's location next week. Hate on me all you like, but right now I wish Bobbi, Mack AND Jemma would just go to a fiery place. Coulson is down to precious few allies now. The only hope I have would be if they have to all come together to fight the threat at the season's end. At any rate, right now I would not mind anyone giving Jemma a good conk on the head.

    ReplyDelete
  75. That actually could be something, though I suppose that if they have the toolbox they can find whre Coulson took her. I do think that if Other Shield is going to be around next season I could see Jemma ending up with them.

    ReplyDelete
  76. You're right, I am being blunt and I shouldn't be. It just drives me crazy when people completely ignore everything about the show that doesn't suit their own vision and preferences. I love Bobbi and Mack being on Coulson's team, but I'm also aware that they're betraying him so I'm certainly not going to root for him to forget everything he did and happily accept them back into the fold as soon as the dust from the mutiny settles. The choices characters make need to have consequences, and just because I like a character doesn't mean I'll overlook that. The Ward and SkyeWard fans, however, are happy enough to twist if not completely ignore everything that doesn't work in their favor. It's maddening. Like whichever characters you like, but call a spade a spade... Ward is a villain. End of. There's no subjectivity about whether or not someone who kills innocent people for his own personal gain is villainous.

    ReplyDelete
  77. I'm sure I've seen some Fanfic's along those lines. The amount of airbrushing that's required to have Skye/Ward at this stage is simply epic.

    ReplyDelete
  78. I think that's where she is headed - remember Mack overheard her side when she was talking with Fitz.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Right with you there. As you've said before actions have consequences for the characters in their lifes (in the show that is). I'm not too gone on Mack so I wouldn't mind if he stays with Other Shield, but yeah I want Bobbi in the next season. Though sure as hell May and Coulson aren't about to just ignore that she led a full assualt team to the base.

    ReplyDelete
  80. That is true, it seems to me that Ward is still psychotic and twisted, if he thinks brainwashing Bakshi is a totally healthy thing for him and Kara to do. The Stand with Ward fans can scream all they like about redemption and how Ward is being a kind soul to Kara but killing people and brainwashing is not a path to redemption.

your profile pic is everything :)

    ReplyDelete
  82. Ward as a fallen agent and bad guy is VASTLY better than straight guy Ward, or Hydra Ward. It suits the character that has been created.

    ReplyDelete
  83. I love Ward.. hope he doesnt have something bad in his mind, i want to see his redemption not a villain..

    ReplyDelete
  84. That real SHIELD thing is BS. please let that plot line die soon.
Ward, he really works better as a bad guy than a good one, im having a hard time finding something good about him rn.

    ReplyDelete
  85. I like the idea that Coulson had Simmons make those gloves to help Skye use her powers. It seems like the show is teasing her getting the gauntlets. Or maybe the unstable/unknown nature of Skye's powers will make what Coulson and Simmons thought would happen if Skye wears the gloves incorrect.

    ReplyDelete
  86. I think I'm in two minds about this. It all depends on why Jemma looked upset giving Coulson the gloves. Was it something that she thought was going to cause pain to Skye (in order to stop her using her powers). Or did Coulson ask her to build something that would help Skye actually use her powers (which would explain why Simmons would look upset).

    ReplyDelete
  87. It could go either way I think. I'm hopeful that it's something good for her but given Simmons at the moment who knows.

    ReplyDelete
  88. I've got to say I prefer him as he is right now, rather than being on the team.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Does this mean Agent 33 is technically an enhanced human? She now has a (fairly permanant) shapes hitting ability (even if it only limited to her face).

    ReplyDelete
  90. I have to say I like it. It shows how dysfunctional the fall has left the remenants of Shield and the different views the remaining senior members are.

    ReplyDelete
  91. lol, i really don't think so..

    ReplyDelete
  92. I've entertained the second option and if that's the case, it will be awesome. It makes both Coulson and Simmons look much better while still explaining Simmons' trepidation about the whole thing. Plus, beginning of Quake suit, yay! Hopefully she gets the full version soon, and people can stop complaining about the lack of superheroes in costumes as opposed to the CW shows.

    ReplyDelete
  93. I think Ward will get redemption at some point, maybe in season 3, or season 4, if we get there. Because of all the bad things he's done, it will take a lot of time. (It's not much of a difference, but one kill, I think was Kara's, probably the guy she took face from). He said clearly to her that he is made to be the killer. I guess that is easy for him, just like is for me to drink coffee. So, I think they want to show us that he can't stop being one so easely. He has an hidden agenda, maybe with good intentions? I don't know... The only thing I'm sure of is that he will do bad things for the cause he believes in, without hesitation. For now.

  94. i still find it weird someone being named "Kara" in Marvel

  95. That would be great if it happened. It might also be a way for Simmons to get out of the loop of hercurrent thinking. I'd be sad if it turns out that it's something that hurts her to stop her/inhibit her (though I could see her doing it). It would cetainly explain why Simmons was unhappy giving Coulson the box. I can't wait to see what they do next week.

  96. Everyone seems to have interesting names in the MCU/the comics so I'm fine with it.

  97. I don't know if they will make a redemption ark for him or not but if they don't i feel like they will end up killing him at some point. Those type of character don't last long on series. The core team members won't ever trust him like this after everything and he is always going to be on the sidelines of the main plots so he end up being expendable. I don't know it's hard to tell what they have planned for him because they never make it clear his true intentions. Brett seems to be working with the team a lot an they are shooting the last few episodes of the season so who knows what still coming. There should be a lot of surprises. I don't count anything out.

  98. I hope we get an answer soon. I'm too damn curious about that thing.

  99. Yeah, or he will get the redemption, or he will be killed of, because 'wild card' status, as you said, can't last long. But I don't know if they're willing to let Brett go, he brings a lot to the show. And yes, he is shooting with the team, and also with Chloe (who is maybe separated from them, I don't know). I have no idea what his motives might be.

  100. yeah in a weird way, that's what i was thinking. That's she's kind of an Enhanced human like you say

  101. Actually thking about i again, this ma be a way to kee Shield out of the Avengers storyline... If they are still dealing with Other Shield.

  102. Yeah, it's pretty clear that they have more resources thn Coulson and Co. had at the start of the season. That they chose not to us them speaks a lot for what they are up to.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Hopefully Coulson brings that up. The whole we are the good guys angle they are trying to play is hypocritical.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Exactly they are complaining about keeping secrets, but they stayed secret when Coulson needed them. Hell Hartley might have survived since the op might have been different if they had a Quinnjet. Not to mention the fact that up until he meets them Coulson might have been under the impression that he was the senior surviving agent.

  105. Ha yes it was released by ABC I'm glad they did because that scene was so badly edited we never got to see fitz with bambino :(

  106. oh MY GOD that would've been SO AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and instead of sea pod that Hunter escaped from in reality was a SPACE pod

  107. I've actually had issues with 2B since it started but I chose not to say anything because I thought it was just me (spoiler alert: it's not just me) but something's been off since the show's return (Maurissa Tancharoen's pregnant and has lupus so we don't think she's around as much to help run the show the second half of the season). I want Skye angst about her powers that has to do with her learning how to control them and how it's changed her life, not FitzSimmons arguing about it all the time.

There are people who don't ship Skyeward/don't like Ward who are angry with how the writers handled Tuesday's mess of an episode.

And none of us want that either because redemption's supposed to be hard and long and painful. I wouldn't have wanted them to walk him right back into the team either.

I want to trust the writers and what's ahead but it's hard to after they did this.

  108. Whats off? Since season 1 we know that Ward can be manipulative and a killer. He admitted to Raina how he played the team from May to Jemma to Coulson and was proud of that. He admitted to Skye how long he was undercover on Ops without a problem. Him playing 33 is no different, and he's a proven killer without question (no matter how you try and spin it).

Jemma/Fitz is a micro sample of how the team must be dealing with this. Somebody they know has changed utterly. To just show Skye having to deal with the aftermath wouldn't be realistic, nor would having everyone in the team automatically jump to Fitz's position of Avenger powers. Of course the two brains of the team are going to be the ones that are the most involved and it's not surprising that they have different views.

I think 2B is handling the fallout of 2A perfectly and showing the characters well.

  109. He's abusing her for his own gain, yeah. It's not help and can't ever be help.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Screwing over Ward's character in what way though? Things we know about Ward: he's an abusive murderer who is willing to manipulate everyone for his own ends; he's a terrorist; he hasn't stopped killing people yet; he's unhealthy obsessed with Skye; he has violently kidnapped Skye twice.

This episode is perfectly in character. He's abusing Kara the way he was abused, except he had more of a choice than a girl with literally NO ability to make a single choice. So basically he's destroying a woman from the inside for his own gain.

  111. I did think they were in space for a second but it came to my mind that that wouldn't make sense since Mac and Bobbie keep going back-and forth.

    ReplyDelete
  112. I hate it too. And how many times does Coulson need to be betrayed already?

    ReplyDelete
  113. Not only him, what will the others do or feel and feel, This new SHIELD is going after Coulson and what Fury gave him but the rest of them are not gonna stand there watching. It's going to bring back some bad memories.

He is. At least since Fury put him in charge, and possibly regardless.

  116. Nothing in particular. I couldn't help but be reminded of Pocahontas and a Family Guy episode I watched at some point when the promo showed Skye running through the forest.

    ReplyDelete
  117. I was hoping they would turn out to be SWORD (which they could slowly turn into as the show progresses, so long term I guess it's still on the table) but nah... Can't say I got the feeling they were in space.

I did think they were on a hellicarrier though, not just a regular ship.
