NOTE: This is a new feature that we're testing for the first time today.

This thread/article is to provide a place where you can discuss all shows that aired last night that we do not have individual "What did you think of" Polls.

Some of tonights shows that you might like to discuss are:

Law and Order: SVU, American Idol, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Man Seeking Woman, Workaholics, Broad City or any other show that you like that you've watched tonight.

So sound off in the comments below about what you thought of last nights TV.

NOTE:
Please note the comments could well contain spoiler discussion for any show that has aired tonight.
Please only use this thread for shows that do not already have their own threads. You should use the show/episode specific threads for discussion on those shows.

  1. Thanks for this thread. Good idea. :)

Is anyone else watching Broad City? If not, then you're missing out on a great comedy. S1 was awesome and the two episodes of S2 that have aired, have been hilarious. I find Broad City much more relatable and funny than Girls - comparing them as both are centered around young women.

I have yet to watch tonight's Man Seeking Woman (whacky yet clever show) but I have heard good things about it from Sepinwall's twitter feed.

I marathoned the remainder of the first season of Gravity Falls earlier :) need to start the 2nd soon.
Disney XD has surprisingly been really good lately with their shows.

  3. Love this idea.

So Wolf Hall started on BBC 2 last night, I think its coming to PBS in April. It was very good, never read the books its based on but Mark Rylance was amazing in the role of Thomas Cromwell and I thought it was a good choice leaving Henry VIII (Damian Lewis) off screen until the end, it was interesting spending time with Cromwell and
    Wolsey.

  4. I agree. This is a fab idea.
I got Wolf Hall recorded so I'm looking forward to seeing Damian Lewis on my screen again!

  5. How weird is Man Seeking Woman? Never seen any show like it.

  6. Very strange indeed but somehow it works.

BTW: This is a great idea to have a general overnight tv thread.

  7. Really loving broad city. One of the few comedies I watch

  8. I love how strange it is. Basically like small sketches with an over-arching story. FXX has a lot of potential, I love how open they + FX are to totally original material

  10. I had to publicly eat crow. I was so tuned out during the first episode the two boys were so obnoxious, I thought forget this mess, I'm glad I checked it out again I've always been a fan of Debra Messing the show I've got to watch each week is the mysteries of Laura, now one of my favorite shows!!!

  11. I checked out some clips of Broad City on YouTube and while it was funny at times, it seems a tad too crass. Mann Seeking Woman had a stellar second episode.

  12. Man Seeking Woman - I watched the second episode an hour ago and I completely agree.

Broad City - Crass? Hmm. I get why some people may deem it crass but I feel like it's being honest about the two lady characters - they're oddballs after all.

  13. Maybe crass was the wrong choice of words. I just found it a little too realistic, if that makes any sense. The short clips on the official Comedy Central YouTube channel were great but I just think I'd be a little overwhelmed watching 20 minutes of it in one sitting.
