how did Elementary go down.......by 0.2........there was not that much competition

  3. So, despite no Grey's, a weaker lead-in and scripted competition from CBS, Scandal adjusted up to a 3.1.

    Huge.

  4. It was pre-empted.

I think Two and half men should be the lead in to Elementary not the McCarthy.........I do expect it will rise next week

  6. And what would be 2.5 Men's lead-in? The McCarthy's?

  7. Wow, nearly the entire CBS line-up is asjusted down. I expect The McCarthys to be canceled in a few weeks and then replaced by Mike and Molly.

  8. The McCarthys will be canceled and The Millers will replaced it, with Mike and Molly or Odd Couple taking the spot on Monday.

  9. Three out of the four shows I watched got less that a 1.0 in ratings :(

  10. I'm surprised that TBBT is so low this early in the season. Must be a fluke.

  11. yeah happy for TVD

  12. 1.2 is a series low for Elementary. A real shame, as its a really good series.

  13. Yay for TVD! I hated seeing it hit a 0.7 especially for such an amazing ep, soooo happy it adjusted up! :)

  14. Scandal really is on another planet, that's just amazing. ABC is killing CBS on this night, jeez. Elementary did terribly. Worse than the Friday and Sunday dramas. I wonder what kind of sub 1.0 numbers it will pull on those nights when inevitably gets moved there. The McCarthys will be gone by the end of November sweeps as we all predicted. They should double up on Men in some weeks to make room for odd couple. I am sad that Mom got adjusted down but then again, Big Bang was contained for its standards last night, so this number, while not very impressive, isn't awful either.

  15. Ouch for Elementary. My McCarthys prediction was spot on. Can't see it lasting long

  16. So Elementary matched Hawaii Five-0 and Blue Bloods. It's still going to get renewed though.

  17. Is this show available free anywhere online? I've been interested is watching it from the beginning, but I haven't found it. I often get hooked thru the binge-watch (that's what got me into Bones ... until they killed Sweets, anyway. Yep. Still and forever bitter.)

  18. Scandal is killing it!!!

  19. i hope they cancel the millers the show suck

  20. I never expected Elementary to return so low; I mean, the show is fine, its 3 million syndication package will keep it alive even if it airs on Saturday, but it's still shocking to see it so low.
The McCarthys looks DOA, it'll be replaced by either The Millers or Mike & Molly by January.

I'd say something about Scandal, but saying its a monster hit is overstating it, so instead I'll just drop by a comment on how well Reign is holding up; this show is steady!

  21. If TBBT goes up in the following weeks- and it should- Mom should do better from here onwards

    ReplyDelete
  22. Well, CBS have found one of their Friday slots for next year.

    ReplyDelete
  23. While that's true, if I am CBS I am still very worried that I got my ass kicked by a not at full force ABC and against my premiere night. Especially when some other things will come against them:
    1) GA wasn't even on last night
    2) NBC will significantly improve its act come midseason and one may argue that even FOX will too to some degree
    3) They will need a few nights without Big Bang to prop it all up, which won't be pretty. They will probably do that in January to avoid NBC and ABC competition, otherwise it would e a bloodbath

  24. Revenge and OUAT31 October 2014 at 21:16

Both scandal and murder were great last night. Only two more weeks until we find out Who killed sam!!!!! OMG cannot wait

this wait til feb is gonna be horrible. i think it's technically 3 more eps tho cuz the fall finales are airing the 20th. I'm hoping they'll come back a little earlier in feb (unlike last year) cuz Scandal has a full ep order this year and last years fall finale was episode 10 and this one's will be episode 9.

  26. Revenge and OUAT31 October 2014 at 21:26

Yeah true. I HATE waiting. Well waiting for shows like revenge is even worse but the Fall finale for HTGAWM will be the episode where Sam is killed. It will probably be INSANE

    ReplyDelete
  27. you can download it as a torrent.

  28. It's a shame for other CBS shows that Elementary is this low for a time slot like this yet it will most likely be renewed due to their syndication deal. Is it a possibility that syndication deals might get pulled back? If ratings like these stick around for another season (Imagine the numbers on Fridays), what good will 3 million an episode do for the syndication networks?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Plus, The McCarthys had it lowest-rated CBS comedy debut ever, if my memory serves right.

    ReplyDelete
  30. CBS just needs to hold out until Nov. 20. In December and January, it will eat the ABC filler product up since with exception of TBBT - the rest of lineup with be 'new.' Obviously TAHM still has some decent juice to it. I know it's hard to believe. TMcC will be replaced by M&M.

    ReplyDelete
  31. In hindsight, CBS probably should have kept it as The Big Bang Theory-Two and A Half Men - Person Of Interest - The Mentalist. Because they experimented and tried to prop up their "problem slots", they now have this lose-lose situation where Person Of Interest and The Mentalist are doing way worse in the "problem slots", and the new shows are turning these originally "good slots" into new "problem slots".
