    This is weird. Like, Beckett looks like she's trying to hold back laughter. And the whole "I never seen this man before in my life" sounds staged.


    I'll be disappointed if this turned out to be one big prank by Beckett. Lol.

    Ugh - that would be awful, yeah. They've already done something a bit like that, though, (100th ep), and it would be massively cruel to pull a stunt like that on a guy still missing months of his memory, so I really don't think that will be the case.

    My guess: that trace of amusement is either "there's a strange guy here acting a bit crazy," or more likely, "My favorite author just ran in looking a mess, claiming to know me, and I'm not about to admit that I'm a fan!"

    Isn't the AU set in the present too, though? Or are you saying she'd never have loosened up enough to grow her hair out if she hadn't met Castle? That would have worked well, actually, yeah.

    this episode may for the most part portray them as not knowing each other, but I'm willing to bet the chemistry will still be so electric that he flirts with her and she'll very subtly respond. Which makes it even more fun.
