Rude to killing off Jennifer. Will forever be bitter about that, just like I was about Claire's death. And my OTP was Duke/Jennifer too!

ReplyDeleteto the guys complaining about female recurring characters getting killed, i know you don't like it but calm down already. first off, according to eric's tweet from three months ago, emma decided not to return due to family issues. secondly, be happy we got gloria and charlotte.
ReplyDeletePeople are expressing how they feel about Jennifer's death,its not complaining. We come to Spoiler to discuss the shows we watch,to let out our feelings about the characters,where the show is heading,or when a character that one cares about gets killed for whatever reason. There is no reason to 'calm down'.

ReplyDeleteJulia? At least she didn't die .She left with no further mention.Claire? off screen? Jordan - horrible death ? Evi ? Duke mentions her once , never again? Arla (not confirmed due to the CK factor) Jennifer? Not even a proper death,she just goes off ,like sleeping.
Like it or not the show suffers in the female department, including their main female character - at least she can't die so far ,who knows maybe in the series finale.
Jennifer was introduced as a key role character and remained that way.Of course you can't blame the writers about Emma not coming back.Still people complaining and being upset about it it's valid.
Hey at least we get Gloria,minor female character - sure we have Laverne as voice in times. And the new doctor who will be inserted after the first half of 5a.
The show has issues with how they view women and how they treat them , getting a back up of two characters doesn't erase the past.And people can be upset about it ,especially if they liked Jennifer.
I like how vague most of them are except the one with Jennifer. Most of us knew already since Eric/Emma confirmed it. Still Haven continues the tradition. They might even catch up with SPN in these standards.
ReplyDeleteUsually the show is divided arc wise in two halfs per season. I give Audrey not being there maximum 6 episodes.
