    They said someone major will leave the series in the premiere episode.I'm thinking it is his/her funeral scene and the aftermath.

    Or ashes could refer to someone rising from the ashes, like David did in the season finale. By revealing himself to the public, it could mean rising from the ashes..

    They better not keep Conrad alive. I love Henry Czerny, but seriously, 3 seasons and Emily hasn't made any traction whatsoever in her revenge? I would've preferred for him to rot in jail for the rest of his life (more of a fitting punishment in my opinion), but I'll take death, just make it stick.

    I love the actor, but the character is so slimey, I'd love to see him bite the dust. Emily has lost so many friends and allies over the years and seeing The Graysons not losing anybody would be insane.

    Her plans don't just include revenge you know.
    The major part of her plan was to clear her fathers name and stop them.
    Sure between all that time she got revenge, but that is not the main reason why she is there. it's why she tried to get revenge so soon, in season 1.
    If she just wanted revenge she would never have tried to take them down, rather just punish them.

    Besides she took down Conrad, and has immensely damaged the Grayson family and name.

    I wouldnt be surprised if this is the episode where the characters come face to face with David. Or more like either Emily or Victoria finds David and exposes him to the world to shock the other.
    But it seems like Victoria finds him first. So she is probably just gonna introduce them suddenly and we watch Emily shocked.

    Mmm. Ep 1 is called Renaissance so we should see David returning or 'rising from the ashes' in that episode
