  1. Orphan Black!!!

The beautiful and incredible Tatiana Maslany portrays each and every clone with such dedication and attention, that you forget it's her, and sometimes wondering Tatiana is friends with the actor playing Alison or Cosima, she's just that good. Jordan Gavaris is also quite brilliant, his British accent and his friendship with Alison is awesome. Clone Club is one of the best things I've been apart of :)

The characters are awesome, it's nice to see a soccer mom and a cool, hipster student can be friends. I really enjoy the complex characters, I like there's a little something for everyone to enjoy.

Not only is the cast amazing on screen but off screen. At Comic-Con a fan told Tatiana how much the show impacted her, and Tatiana cried, and then after, pulled her in and hugged her, it went crazy on Twitter and Tumblr, that love for the audience is what makes me love this show even more. One day I hope to meet her, one of the reasons I wish I lived in America, she's amazing and incredibly humble :)

The technical aspects of the show are really well done, the writing is great, there truly isn't anything like this on TV.

The fan base is incredibly kind, even here on SpoilerTV when I started posting about my thoughts and love for the show, I was greeted by such kindness, it's truly amazing.

Canada must be incredibly proud of this show and how far it's come, it's actors. I don't think I can ever stop praising this show :)

  7. Defiance is not Canadian... It's only filmed in Canada, but produced and created by American people...

  8. Bitten and The Borgias. I also watch Lost Girl (getting more and more ridiculous) and Orphan Black (first season was great, second not so much).

  9. Murdoch Mysteries. probably because I love the way they include the historical facts in their scripts:)

  13. Only shows of these I watch are Haven and Orphan Black, so they get my vote. Tried watching Lost Girl, completely failed to be dark/bloody/weird enough to hold my attention...

  14. No Corner Gas? Surprising, given it was really popular (well at least in Canada).

  15. Orphan Black and Continuum. I like Defiance and Bitten, but i they are not on my favorites list. I've haven't gotten to Haven yet, but it is on my need to watch list.

  19. Haven, Orphan Black, The Listener, Continuum, Bitten and Saving Hope in that order. But there are other shows on the list that I think are pretty good (I just don't have time to watch them regularly), like Motive, Remedy, Flashpoint, Lost Girl and Rookie Blue. I love the Canadian SyFy shows!

Saving Hope was the first medical show that I got into. Mostly started watching for Erica Durance and Daniel Gillies and the fact that it had some supernatural element :P. Orphan Black is amazing, it started airing on CTV last year which is where I watched it and then continued on Space for season 2. Remedy I wanted to watch because of Enrico, Sara Canning and Dillon Casey who I have seen on Veronica Mars, TVD and Nikita. I find the show pretty good as a filler but I watch so many shows that if I had to, I would stop watching it. Mostly because I'm not a fan of medical shows, I enjoy the actors and the story lines that are outside of the medical aspect. Bitten has been a great addition to my supernatural shows and it has Laura who I enjoyed on Smallville so that is great. Love the concept of course and it's in between Vampire Diaries and True Blood in terms of the balance of violence/gore that they show. I'm not into full nudity, swearing or very graphic violence/torture (I skipped some of Clay's torture scenes).

Lost Girl is one of the most awesome shows on. Although if they don't bring Kenzi back I might nnot continue watching? Love Ksenia Solo! And I know lots of people are over the whole lesbian thing between Bo and Dr. Lauren, but I hope they get back together!

Never heard of some of these shows here in the states?

    ReplyDelete
  44. Faves: Haven, Continuum.

    Runner Ups: Flashpoint, Rookie Blue.

I chose Haven and Continuum, because I watch those shows regularly, and really like them. I also enjoyed the little bits of Flashpoint and Rookie Blue that I saw, both of which I'm hoping to marathon and get caught up on, at some point. Lots of fans on here seem to really love Orphan Black, but none of my friends have ever heard of it (I live in America). I am curious about it, and may catch a few episodes, to see what all the fuss is.

  45. My vote had to go to Orphan Black. It's not often a Canadian show makes it into my Top 10 list and Orphan Black is currently my favourite show on TV, followed closely by Vikings. Top 10 Canadian shows in the last two years for me are Orphan Black, Vikings, Continuum, Degrassi, Arctic Air, Republic of Doyle, Remedy, Bitten, Blackstone and Heartland.

    ReplyDelete
  46. And Blackstone. Blackstone contains a lot if the same actors as Arctic Air.

    ReplyDelete
  47. My favorites are definitely Lost Girl and Defiance. But I watch a lot of the shows on that list :-)

    ReplyDelete
  48. Two words: Tatiana Maslany. Period.
Orphan Black is definitely the best show and script on that list, but my heart is, and always will be, with LOST GIRL. The most addictive show I've ever watched in my life. And they are the best cast ever.

  49. My dear, I know of a site where you can watch the rest of the series online (I did a search for your show, and tried a link to make sure it's valid). However, I am unsure whether I am allowed to post it here, without getting into trouble. If you are interested, please let me know how to contact you privately.

  51. Thank you for the warm welcome Nirat! :) Is Clone Club what Orphan Black fans are called, or is it the name of an official club, or both?

    ReplyDelete
  52. You're welcome, Yeah Clone Club is the offical fan club name, it's used for Tumblr and Twitter, from what I know :)
    It's a awesome and growing fandom. #CloneClub
