I was so excited about this show last season but then it turned out to be such a self-commiseration fest I couldn't wait for it to be over (especially after Nico Mirallegro's character died).

Seems like it may be a show I can appreciate, but only when in the right mood...

LOL it's not. It was still a great show, and I'm really interested in the whole idea of it (they plan to follow the kid's life throughout the century), but yeah... the first season wasn't always easy to watch.

ReplyDeleteIt's one of those series that fell through the cracks for one reason or another. I just have not gotten to it yet. Much like The Fear and season 2 of Top Boy.
