There was a big casting announcement with the revelation that Mary-Louise Parker would be joining the series in Season 2 in a recurring role as a character named Naomi Highland. While he didn’t reveal any more details of the former Weeds star’s involvement on the Blacklist, EP/creator Jon Bokenkamp described the character as “completely tied to Reddington". While there were no sneak peeks at Season 2, fans were treated to a video mash-up of the highlights of Season 1.

  2. Wow now this is something impressive. And I think it's good casting, she could totally be related to Elizabeth.

  8. I'm happy. She's a formidable actress, and NBC is in needs of a flagship star. I can see Mary-Louise Parker being NBC's next icon actress after Poehler's gone with Parks & Rec.

  9. Don't even remind me of Parks and Rec ending. Mary-Louise is one of my favorite actresses so I'm happy for her.
