Person of Interest - Season 4 - Jamie Hector gets Recurring Role

22 Jul 2014

During an interview at CBS's summer TV press tour party, Plageman revealed to Zap2it that Jamie Hector will be playing a new character in the CBS drama. Though he wouldn't specifically state the role Hector has to play, he did tease that the actor will be on the show "for a little bit" in a seemingly villainous capacity.

"He will be interacting with all our guys," Plageman says of Hector. "As HR and the Russians have been vanquished in the municipal storyline of the show, someone is going to step into that vacuum."

Plageman and his fellow showrunner Jonathan Nolan have already wrapped the Season 4 premiere, and Plageman jokes that "we've blown up a lot of things already." The new season will pick up about four to six weeks after the events of the Season 3 finale, but Plageman thinks viewers will be surprised by how easily some of the "Person of Interest" characters fit into this new world order.

  3. This is by far my most anticipated season premiere this fall. I really cannot wait.

The time jump is interesting - POI haven't done that in the 2 prior returning premieres. I am a wee bit concerned that we are getting too many "villans" but at the rate they come and go, and with the current void in that area that the showrunners pointed out, I'm still more than positive about season 4

  4. New head for Vigilance maybe? And yes i know they showed us who run Vigilance, but that doesn't mean that they can bring them back for their own agenda.

  5. Wow this season looks like it will be really different than other seasons, but I'm looking forward to that. I think we'll have a lot of characters that will be villains one day and friends tomorrow kind of thing, which we saw a little bit of this past season. Could keep things loose and little unpredictable!

  7. Season 3's premiere came after a time jump. Not a considerable one, I don't think, but one nonetheless.

This is awesome! I'm always excited to see an actor from The Wire in another show..

  10. I hope this doesn't blow up in their faces. And I sure hope that Reese and Finch continue to be close-knit friends still. That is a big part of the draw for me. I"m a little nervous but hoping it works well in the new season.
