According to the Comic-Con website, what was planned for the preview night:
Comic-Con International and Warner Bros. However iZombie was not delivered:
The iZombie pilot that was promised wasn’t delivered, with a Warner rep saying “cast changes” are responsible and only a clip would be screened.

  3. I'm confused - they've known about the cast changes for months, so why is it a last second notification?

  4. The cast changes explanation sounds dubious. Sounds to me like someone took a look a that pilot and decided a comic con hate-lash would be bad.

  5. a few other pilot also had cast changes but the sent screeners out for those? Is Alexandra Krosney really that bad in the pilot that CW is ashamed to let anyone watch the actul pilot?

  6. When is the iZombie panel scheduled?
I think it's quite odd that they haven't recast yet. I mean it's time for sure. Maybe Alex Krossney still has a chance to stay.

  7. Alan Sepinwall, who's moderating the "iZombie" panel, tweeted yesterday about the pilot not being shown, but said that the panel will have extended first look clips.

  8. Showfax has posted that the character of Eva played by actress Nora Dunn is getting recast. Nora Dunn will no longer be part of the show. A casting call was just sent out by the casting director and producers yesterday for her character. That's another reason why the pilot wasnt shown at Comic-Con last night.

  9. So they still haven't recast Alexandra Krosney's character and reshot her scenes. Got it.

  10. Correct... they are recasting Alexandra Krosney's and Nora Dunn's characters.

  11. I've been looking for info on the recastings and have come up empty every time. I guess this is why. They still haven't made any progress.

  12. It's because they only started recasting by sending out casting calls for their characters yesterday. I dont know why it took them this long to start recasting when both actresses exited the show months ago. LOL.
