  1. Rains of Castamere does count CJ ;) nomination period is 1st June 2013-31st May 2014, Rains of Castamere aired on 2nd June 2013. We've already had 21 nominations for it. I do believe that should be enough for it to reach the main competition. I'm a little bit torn as to whether I'm annoyed that people like it (because I don't like GoT) or enjoying it being popular because it annoys CJ.

I gave up on Intelligence for a while after 1.08, and binge-watched the last 5 episodes. 1.01-1.03 were good, 1.09-1.13 were good, the ones in between were just crap. I ended up enjoying it more than I disliked it. But still not great.

I watched the entirety of Hostages and it is one of the most ridiculous shows ever. Not to mention the fact that on at least 4 occasions they spoiled the ending of an episode in the promo. Very predictable, very dull.

I didn't watch Almost Human but I was shocked that they cancelled that and renewed Mindy Project, Glee, The Following - all shows with worse ratings than AH.

42 hours of Revolution, and probably 3 of them that weren't wasted on watching drab lack of entertainment. Stories were terrible and repetitive. If not for Miles and Monroe in season 2 I would have quit and made every effort to forget it existed.

I did write 'CJ's puns continue to get worse...' but I can't say it for you being nice to me and plugging my site.

So, you think that Beauty and the Beast's fans re-enacted Hostages? I still can't believe The Tomorrow People got cancelled in favour of Beauty and the Beast. TTP got much better in the back 13.

Biggest shock renewal: The Following (more so that it was renewed early)/Beauty and the Beast
    Biggest shock cancellation: Community/Almost Human

  2. #StarCrossed should NOT have been cancelled.I am not a young girl all googoo eyed over the hot guys. When I watched the first episode my first thought was the Little Rock Nine. Nine Black students integrated, for the first time into white schools. We, as the human race still have not learned tolorance. I feel #StarCrossed could be a good tool to teach our kids about this.

  3. Unfortunately I never watched it but I always thought it was fighting a loosing battle on the CW

  4. Well I don't think it's quite fair to compare SPN and Smallville "strong following" to BaTB's. SPN does have a very loyal, vocal fan base but it translates into ratings. So was Smallville. SPN was renewed because it's performance ( it finished #1 show on the network on its 9th season), not because fans made $$storm all over social media and won bazillion online polls. So was Smallville. BaTB no so much, not even close. And "doesn't take much"? Again, you are not comparing CW's viewership with CBS and NBC, don't you? Lets imagine we put Sleepy Hollow on CW, would it keep its ratings intact? I very much don't think so, in best case scenario it would be happy to stay in low 1s. 90% of people I know (casual TV viewers) are not aware this channel even exists.
And again, if it OK to have bazillion seasons for CSI because show performs well why CW should get rid of SPN if it one of the most profitable work horses for them? I wouldn't be surprised (if season 10 will hold ratings and viewers) CW will try to keep it on for few more years to support whatever spinoff they are panning to introduce.
Anyway, my biggest disappointment was AH cancellation. Revolution lost me somewhere in the middle of season 2 so I didn't care it was cancelled. BaTB still tops my surprise renewal chart because I can not apply any logic to that decision.
