  1. I don't get why there are so many awfuls, I thought it was a pretty cool finale and I hope we get to see how everything turns out.

  2. The show lived up to its name. There were certainly many twists in this episode. Everyone finding out that Charlie is related to Jo. That was not expected. I loved how Jack and Whitney were in it together to insinuate themselves into the Desai household was another twist. Charlie kidnapping Jo was kind of predictable since he is unstable.

  3. This show is predictable and boring and treats the character of Lacey Porter as a supporting character and that inevitable cancellation is the best thing ever for this show.

  4. I enjoy this show but some of the twists just didn't make sense to me. Biggest was that Charlie is Jo's brother. Hadn't the show already established she gave birth to a little girl? And how did Danny not realize he had a cousin. They made it seem like the aunt was a big part of his life. I have extreme doubts she would have been able to hide that she was raising a son.

  5. everybody's angry cause the show is goin in the direction of danny&jo for now. but i like how everythings going. good ep

  6. What is wrong with the writers of this show treating the character of Lacey as an afterthought? It is almost as if they do not know what to do with her, when last season, she was one of the most exciting aspects of the show. Now Danny is telling Jo, that she was always the one, when last season, she was his little sister/friend/ buddy? I love the new additions to the show but if the Danny/Jo romance happens, I will find better things to do on a Tuesday night. This show started out great but Jo was the character that should have been a part of the lesbian angle not Lacey.

  7. The finale just cemented the downhill slide of this show. Every single soap opera plot twist was thrown in desperation of something working. This poll results and the ratings are evidence that people are just not here for the Jo Show.

  8. Uh, no. People are upset that nothing on this show (characterizations, plot contrivances, relationship dynamics, etc.) makes sense anymore. For many that includes the Danny/Jo pairing that came out of nowhere (he chased Lacey for 15 episodes and friend-zoned Jo over and over only to suddenly develop feelings for her when Lacey told him he had them). But it also includes the complete sidelining of Lacey's character (her lines, screen time, plot involvement and development came to a screeching halt)and Rico's romance with Andie which also kept him out of the main action too. The over-involvement of the Mastersons and how every single story line now revolves around the insipid Jo.

  9. you say no but yet most of what u said is about how danny/jo doesnt make sense. an suddenly developing feelings becaus somebdy pointed it out is called realization. this isnt the first show to do it an it wont be the last. i get it that u dont like jo. i know that lacey got sidelined. but there was a point when the story revolved around her. an i felt then how u feel now actually. we jus like what we like i guess.

  10. How is "most of what I said" about Danny/Jo? That was ONE point. And there was NEVER a time when all the stories revolved around Lacey, never. And no, I don't like Jo (she went from being my favorite character the first few episodes to becoming insufferable) because not only is she is disloyal, a terrible friend, whiny, capricious and willful, but the entire show caters to her whims and coddles her endlessly. Theer is a reason Twisted has been nicknamed The Jo Show, and this is why the rating have nosedived.

  11. soooo....at the end of they day, this ep is awful for most becaus of the direction the show is going ie Jo/danny.??

  12. Are you deliberately trying to act stupid and not understand points people are making or do you have a reading disability? If the latter, I'm so sorry. If the former, I can see why you're Jo fan.

    ReplyDelete
  13. No, I'm not. I'm mad at how contrived it is. I could care less who Danny or Jo is with. Obviously, you didn't read what I said, which clearly stated that people are mad because of how Lacey is treated on the show and contrived plots. But of course ignore that, and focus on one portion of what I said, which was responding to your comment on Danny and Jo. Mad? I am far from it because I no longer watch this show, and it doesn't matter because it will be cancelled anyway. *shrugs*

    ReplyDelete
  14. I wouldn't even waste my time responding to this person because they clearly do not see the point and refuse to.

  15. Haha - thanks - I was just about to say the same to you ;) I'm starting to worry jubjub is so delusional she may have an actual medical disorder. #Poorjubjub

  16. lol. wowwwww. u are so caught up. u repeat my first comment. NO ONE likes the direction the show is going. point blank. call it what you want. if it was Danny/Lacey finishing the season, Jo wud be the last thing on ur mind.

    ReplyDelete
  17. then y review a show u dont watch??

  18. omgeee its trending -_-

  19. Krys is free to make whatever comment he or she chooses to make about the show, as are you. Why are you harassing the commenter?

    ReplyDelete
  20. i dont know y ppl are taking this so seriously. harassing?? thats a bit much

  21. womp your tried. Lacey fans have been complaining about her lack of story since 1a.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Thank you Emily! I didn't know giving my opinion on a show that I have watched 16 out of 19 episodes on makes my opinion invalid somehow? And I didn't write any reviews, I commented on what I know about the show and why people have tuned out and ratings have dropped by about 500,000 views since 1x12.

    ReplyDelete
  23. That is where you are wrong. People have been complaining since the end of 1A, and even when Danny and Lacey got back together this half of the season as well, people were still complaining about Lacey's treatment. So, stop assuming that you know why Lacey fans feel the way they feel, when clearly you do not. I didn't quit the show because of Danny and Jo, I quit the show before Danny and Lacey even broke up due to the characterization and treatment of Lacey Porter. Thanks for trying though.

  24. haha - thanks Krys ;)

  25. did i say something was invalid?

  26. excellent.. that's it in a nut shell... I have stopped watching it already.. stopped after that ep return from that winter break.. there's alot more on tv on the night that it airs that I can and will watch.. besides this...

    ReplyDelete
  27. maybe it boils down to people that haven't the slightest clue how to write for a tv show..

    ReplyDelete
  28. Thanks renee - you were smart to stop watching it back then - saved yourself tons of angst. Each episode just got worse and worse until we ended with the travesty that was this finale.

    ReplyDelete
  29. You're putting words into people's mouths and being disingenuous. You are all over this page. Why not let people have their say?

    ReplyDelete
  30. It got a 0.3 in the ratings. Couldn't have been all the great of a finale or a season if hardly anybody tuned in for the finale.

    ReplyDelete
  31. The writing especially 1B was aweful! And focused too much on Jo, who is such an unlikable character, while other characters like Lacey, Sarita, etc were sidelined. Too much Tess, no one cares about the adoption story. And Danny changed a lot in 2 weeks. Season 1A wasn't perfect but they should have kept Danny mysterious and ambiguous. They shouldn't have taken the mystery out of it by saying he didn't kill his aunt. They should have kept it ambiguous. Vikram shouldn't have died, it also killed the mystery and we still didn't why he pretended to be dead, why he was sleeping with Regina's mum and the others in town. Why wasnt the inheritance mentioned in part 1A. Lacey should have her own life to live instead of being the help. And Dacey was gold, why did the writers mess with that?

  32. Everything about the second half of this season was atrocious.
    - Lacey's storyline was dull and went nowhere at all.
    - Charlie was a creepy little weirdo from the very beginning and a horrible cartoonish character. Any time that kid was onscreen I wanted to throw a brick at my TV.
    - Danny was written in a frustratingly inconsistent matter and was being a total dick most of the time.
    - Jo was thrown at Charlie in such a horribly contrived manner it made my stomach turn.
    - The way they change the Jo/Danny dynamic at the drop of a hat makes no damn sense at all.
*Danny had the hots for Lacey and thought of Jo as a sister, but all of a sudden...
*Danny is all about getting him some Jo because it was "always" her. But wait...
*Jo doesn't seem to know how she feels about Danny anymore even though Danny originally choosing Lacey over Jo made Jo's whole damn world fall apart. So basically...
    * NOT ONE G*DDAMN THING ABOUT THE ROMANTIC ENTANGLEMENTS OF DANNY-JO-LACEY MAKE ANY SENSE WHATSOEVER.
    - Rico is a pointless character who instantly kills what little momentum any episode has and needs to go.

    - Both the Whitney/Jack and the Charlie/Tess plot twists were so horrible I literally laughed out loud when they transpired.
    - Jo's dad is the world's worst police chief.

Never in my life have I seen a show completely implode so quickly as Twisted has. The writers completely nuked their own show over the course of nine short episodes.

The Three leads of this show (Avan Jogia, Kylie Bunbury, and Maddie Hasson) all did a great job with the crap material they were given and the best thing for all three would be for this show to get canceled so they can find better parts elsewhere.

  33. LOL, the thing for me is just that the only thing I expect from a show like this is to be entertained, and I was, but I do believe I would be dissapointed if I expected more quality.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Well, this explains why there are forty comments.

    ReplyDelete
  35. lol. i apologize. never again wud i say anything on a Twisted poll

  36. I think the Charlie reveal was interesting, but the way it unfolded was so poorly done that I really don't care anymore. This show started off as one of my favorites, but I'm ready for them to put the actors out of their misery and cancel the show. The writing has always been shaky, but what made the first half of the season so compelling was the quality of acting from the 3 leads, their chemistry with each other and the mystery of Danny's involvement in the two deaths and the new showrunners made a mess of all three things. The Charlie story had a lot of potential, and with better casting and a better team of writers, it could have worked, but it didn't. It also didn't help that I found the character absolutely cringeworthy, and for a TV villain to be effective, you have to be somewhat drawn to them, or at the very least like their scenes. I would have much preferred to see them give more screen time to someone like Rico.

One of the things that turned most people off this show was the new showrunner's decision to turn the two more compelling leads into supporting characters and make it the Jo show. Given that Avan Joggia and Kylie Bunbury have the potential to be major breakout stars, it was disappointing that the writers decided to de-emphasize their role. It made no sense, given that popular characters are usually rewarded with more central time rather than less! I'm sure that many fans are disappointed about the complete 180 with Danny switching from liking Lacey to Jo but I think that people are even more disappointed about the sidelining of one of their favorite characters, Lacey. Relationships take a turn all the time, but what keeps people watching a show is if all parties involved, continue to get a decent story, which hasn't happened here.

  37. People are sooo ridiculous , so you don't want to watch the show anymore because now the writters want to put jo and danny togather ???!!! What a lame and stupid excuse !!! Well that mean that you'r not a real fan of the show. I mean in Vampire diaries , i'm team stelena but i didn't stop watching the show just because they put elena and damon together !!!!! People are really immature , that's all ! And excuse me but if you think that danny and lacey belong togather , you'r really blind ! Since his comeback in town , Danny always came to Jo when something gone wrong .He always came to her first because she's his person. With lacey , it's about attraction but he can't talk to her . I think that lacey is better alone than being with a guy who doesn't trust her enough to tell her her when something go wrong. or ask for her help.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Do you not know how to read? If not, then I apologize, but clearly you are capable of forming words and making sentences, so I don't understand why you are saying people are not watching because of a relationship? There are a number of people commenting under this poll and not ONE single person say they stopped watching over a 'ship.'
And please tell me how Jo and Danny belong together? He has called her his sister, denied every effort of her passes to him, told her mom that the girl he wanted to be with was 'not Jo, by the way,' and when she asked him in 1x11 if he had feelings for Lacey he said yes, and if they ever stood a chance he basically shut her down AGAIN. Danny, has always gone to Jo first, because she was more inclined to forgive him than Lacey was, so of course, he went to her first. But who was Danny chasing behind for all of 1A? That's right, Lacey Porter, from the pilot episode it was more than clear that Danny had an interest in Lacey and not a single one in Jo, except in friendship or sisterly shall I say?
The writers messed up 1B completely and now they are going to pay for it when the show gets officially cancelled. If you think that Danny has ever had any interest in Jo except in this out of character 'love story' they are trying to sell then you are just as delusional as the writers for writing it. The proof is in the pudding, when all you have to do is google Twisted and read the numerous reviews stating how awful the show has gotten, how Lacey is treated, and how Jo and Danny was forced and came out of nowhere. Thanks for trying.

  39. I waited for Whitney to be Tess' daughter, because she said that she gave birth to a girl. But on the other hand she also said that she never held her in her arms if I'm not mistaken, so my guess is that Vikram only told her that it was a girl and faked the papers etc.

My guess is that the aunt found out about Charlies real mother or whatever and blackmailed Vikram and that is why he killed her and let his son take the blame (although that wouldn't be enough for me as an explanation why a father does something like this to his son).

But I'm wondering how Jack und Whitney got into play with Charlie. Were they working together or was Jack just using/pushing him in the direction he wanted to.

  40. Umm, no you are wrong. People are mad because how one of the lead characters, Lacey, get shafted every week in favor of Jo, people are mad because of contrived plots, and how it seems that nothing from 1A even matters. Danny and Jo is so ridiculous that no one cares about that, Danny chased and pursed Lacey every chance he got, while also shooting down Jo every chance he got. From calling her a sister, to telling her mom that the girl he was interested in was 'not Jo, by the way.' So stop spouting off your opinion as fact.

    ReplyDelete
  41. ok. so you are telling me u are not mad at danny/jo pairing??? cause u sound a bit peeved.??

    ReplyDelete
  42. This show is awful. The first half of the season was okay - there was somewhat of a set-up for a big reveal. But then they decided to get a set of new writers, all of whom made a mess of everything. I don't think a show like this needs 8 writers for a total of only 19 episodes. It's not science fiction. It's not like each episode can be a stand-alone with a different concept/theme. Too many random writers = a plethora of nonsense = no proper character development. I'm not sure why they decided to make Jo the lead. The fandom is obviously 50/50 when it comes to Jo/Lacey, so why alienate half your audience, especially when before the show started it was advertised as both being second-lead to Danny? This strange attachment they have to her character... it's like she's based on the creator's daughter or something. And why hire the writer that got Jane By Design canceled? By the finale, nothing really made sense. None of the twists were logical. I know it's called Twisted, but there should be some reasoning behind what happens, shouldn't there? There was no focal point, no resolution, nothing... just random twists for pure shock value. What a waste.

  43. if people don't like a show, they will stop watching. Clearly you don't understand how writing works. Either the writers can create something great, or they can screw up. Most people who did stop watching couldn't care less about Jo/Danny. They just don't want to watch yet another dramatic teen show, filled with nonsense, that focuses on a woe-is-me white girl. Also, if you were actually paying attention to the show, instead of trying to live your fantasies out through Jo, you'd notice that he only runs to Jo when Lacey pushes him away, and vice versa. He uses both girls, tells them what they want to hear, when they want to hear it. Then lies to both. He's an awful character and the fact that some of you think people stopped watching simply because he's with Jo... wow. lol. And we are all real fans, or we wouldn't be angry about the awful writing. So get over yourself. And these comments, from all of us, twitter attacks, insults thrown back and forth, will only make it worse for the state of the show. So keep going...
