  1. Okay, what in the photo?

  2. It doesn't make sense but it could be a photo of Red smothering her adoptive father death. Or more likely it could be photo's proving that he was in the hospital around the same time that he died and an autopsy report that shows he was murdered, so if she puts two and two together...

  3. ironic that i now think that tom is actually one of the good guys when he was pointing a gun at liz lol

  4. That was my thought too..
Some sort of in-room security or spy camera that captured Red killing Lizzie's adoptive father.

To me the promo looked like it was another one of Liz's "I'm done with you , Red" tantrums we have seen numerous times before and not a real legitimate game-changer. Nearing the finale though, I suppose anything is possible.

  5. I never wavered on thinking Tom was an agent, but I have never had a solid idea who he works for or his prime objective - protect Liz or work against Red. The two are not mutually exclusive of course....

It's so hard to be certain of anything without knowing Red's true motivations for his interest in Lizzie!

I have kinda settled on both Red and his nemesis want to use Liz , but use her for what I don't know. ... yet.

  6. I enjoyed seeing Red use this week's blacklister to his advantage to grab Tom for Liz
However, I was not a fan of what Liz did after Tom was delivered to her!

I cannot be the only one that thought "Don't break his thumb Liz! - Or if you do at least retie Tom at the elbows so he cannot slip the zip-ties"
    Ugh!!

I loved Red rambling on with the intercepted drop messenger, Jeffrey...
~ "You sure you don't know him? Leather vest, mustache...Tracy Woods... Shame."

I enjoyed the episode but it felt like a table-setter to me. It moved the arc forward, but nothing shocking or monumental happened.I think we all suspected tom would rabbit once he was positive his cover was blown.

The thing that stood out to me in this episode was how good Megan Boone's real hair looked! XD
No obvious wig or bulky hair extensions... Her head looked 2 or 3 sizes smaller! XD
    Refreshing!

Thank you! I know I'm no expert but I've seen enough action movies to know everyone gets out of handcuffs by breaking their thumbs. I know Liz isn't a torturer but you'd think she knew better.

I agree that the episode was a table-setter and that really was the point. We have 3 more episodes in the season, this was the last shot to set everything up for the finale run to the finish line. So in that respect it was a great episode especially with Tom delivering his own potential bombshell.

  8. I find I have to watch each episode twice...one for the storylines and then again to catch all reds amazing one liners!! Loved it, well done cast and crew :)

  9. awesome episode! great action and of course some classic Redisms(Let's be honest...these are why most of us watch the show lol)

i have to say i've always been fairly certain that while tom is an @$$ for faking the marriage, he wasn't a 'bad guy' or after Liz. My theory has always been and seems somewhat verified that he's working for Red's adversary and keeping an eye on Red through Liz. another possibility is he's actually from our government, and they know about Red's fascination with her and so sent an agent, again, to figure Red out through her. Either way sucks for her though:(

and for the record, i'm fairly certain that picture is proof of some sort that Red killed her dad. In the promo when she says she's done, she's crying pretty hard, and after everything, i don't think anything else could put that hard a tear between them. before when she said it it was matter-of-fact and merely a necessary step, but this looked and felt different. she may mean it this time, which will make for some interesting drama:)

i also wonder what she's gonna do about Tom. Will she out him to her colleagues or play it off as they just broke up and he took off?

the biggest question for me though is Ressler. When Cooper asked him why she hadn't been there and not to try to lie, Donald got a look on his face. Guys i think Red has been keeping him informed!!! If he does in fact know, which i really think he does, he really needs to let Lizzie know RIGHT NOW! i don't think she'll be honest about Tom being a double agent, and with a rift between her and Red, she needs someone she trusts. She'll be pissed he knew and didn't say anything, but she needs someone. Ressler has had an engagement dissolve, albeit and much less harsh way, so he'd be perfect i think...

  10. Awesome episode! Tom's character has gotten so much more interesting in the past two episodes. It must be awful for Liz, not knowing who to trust. If I were her, I'd probably move to the other side of the continent and start a new life away from Red and Tom! This series really gets better and better, and all I can hope is that the writers have a true endgame in their mind where Red and Tom's characters are concerned and that they aren't "figuring" out Red's agenda as they go along.

  11. Yeah! They kind of blew Mentalist like that!

  12. Where's the 'heartbreaking' option :'( poor Liz!

  13. Looks like Liz needs to go back to "Torture 101".

Strangely, I would think he's on Berlim paylist. I don't know, he is always going after Red, even after Red essentially saved his life and helped going after his fiancee killers when no one else could help. Just someone who has a direct order of going after Reddington would still question him. And Liz never told Ressler on this episode bout any problem in home. He's probably the real handler of Tom.

  15. In past episodes Ressler has heard Liz talking to Tom on the phone. He has been there in the office with Liz when Liz was upset because of Tom.He was going to go out for dinner and instead Ressler stayed and and spoke with her.I don't remember If i remember correctly but i do remember her saying 'i'm losing Tom.

  16. I don't think Tom is from our government and keeping an eye on Red through Liz. Red only came back recently and Tom and Liz have been married for 2 plus years. Unless he or the government knew Red was coming back years before he actually did i don't believe that is the scenario....

  17. They are trying to make make Ressler and Liz happen and pleaseee dont do that.
Tom and Liz were great on this episode Tom could be lying but he also must be telling teh truth he spent two years doing his "job" and Reddington didnt show up until now, as i always said. I believe she is with Liz to try to figure out Red someway or another.

  18. Picture has me rather puzzled but Tom & Liz were together well before Red revealed his interest in Liz or acted on it from other things he's said, unless someone else knows the true connection between them and were expecting Red to make contact at some point and they were preparing by putting their agent in place.

I also wondered whether he does work for another government department (eg. NSA?) and

thinks he's doing the right thing (though killing 'Jolene' would hardly fit that theory. Seem to have a lot of resources though.

  19. I hope the story will develop on Mr. and Mrs. Keen. Neither Red nor Tom is the good guy, but i am quite sure that most of the audience want to see more about Tom Keen even more than Red

    ReplyDelete
  20. I can not say what is in that photo but what musnt be in that photo should be Red and Elizabeth's father, it should be to simple, i hope they had more complicated thoughts about that picture

    ReplyDelete
  21. Hmmm really?

I personally never really cared for Tom as a character and was only interested in him because I wondered who he worked for. That got even worse with the domestic issues at the Keen house when Jolene was on the show..

Red makes every scene he is in and the more Red in an episode the better the episode is.

    I will take more Red.

That said, I still wonder who Tom works for, but I'm glad he will be on less since his character was wearing on my nerves the second half of the season....

  22. I would like something more complicated in the picture too.

Something that really moves the story forward and not just causes Liz to be mad at Red again. We know she will get over (or at least deal with) any anger towards Red since those two are the main thrust of the series.

  23. Was I the only one who thought the dialogue in the end between Ressler and Cooper was strange? like they knew something about Tom?

    ReplyDelete
  24. In my opinion they only suspect cause of the behaviour of Mrs.Keen. But they will try to understand what is happening between Mr. and Mrs. Keen while Mrs. Keen try to hide what is going on . Clasic scenario. (my guess :) )
