  1. It may just be my imagination, but Klaus seems a little angry.

  4. Elijah, who I once loved, is really getting on my nerves. Rebekah had to know this was coming, she wasn't blind growing up. Sooner or later she would have had to answer for calling a father to kill his 'son'. Klaus, simmering with quite rage, holding a White Oak Stake, with a malicious glint in his yellow Wolf eyes.....and the Oh so British accent.......is Seeexxxyyyy ;-)

  5. I've disliked Elijah for a while, but you can hardly fault him...

  6. Oh I don't fault him, but he is still getting on my nerves. My admiration for his character began to decline on his last few episodes of TVD...and I just can't re-fresh him at all.

  7. I need more than one episode. The writers could make Elijah change direction anytime. The show-runner isn't exactly good at keeping consistently developed characters. Especially when she wants a ship.
I must admit Elijah vamping out did make my heart skip beats.....and watching Wolf eyes Klaus. watching Vamp eyes Elijah made it play the drums LOL

  8. so far it seems that Klaus/elijah is the only relationship on this show you can always count on not betraying each other.
Haylijah used to bug me, because i considered Elijah lusting after Hayley betrayal but after last episode, i sort of found peace, i don't think there is anything or anyone in this world that can make elijah turn on Klaus. He scolds Niklaus a lot, and chastises him but one time when it mattered most (in 1919) he made a right choice, and that's all that matters. Klauijah is not getting damaged by silly Hayley/Elijah hook up like ever. and elijah dispatched from Celeste with so much callousness and cold fury, yet again proving his loyalty to Klaus. We all wondered if he would choose her, but in the end it didn't even make him hesitate for a second.
Elijah vamped out twice! and Klaus' eyes are so beautiful, amber-like. Julie is spoiling us with so much goodness in one episode.

  9. But I am still going to reserve my heart where Elijah is concerned until season finale. Believe it or not despite sticking with TVD for 5yrs I'm not a shipper. I don't care about Elijah's relationship with Hayley, Klaus pretty much gave his blessing anyway. But I care about the family structure, dysfunctional as it is [and I love it]. I cant get past [old tune I know] Elijah conveniently forgetting his two other brothers, yet worrying about Klaus. Kol is no different than Klaus, he is worse in fact, Yet Elijah wants to redeem a brother, who has done pretty well over the centuries considering he is two opposite natures in one body/soul [vamp/wolf]....
Don't get me wrong I'm not an Elijah hater. I do love him just that the moment I am too disappointed in him...it'll pass I hope. Daniel is too cute to ignore LOL

  10. Klaus...you know we all love you but dare killing either Rebekah or Elijah and I'll be after you with the white oak stake :P

  11. Well I'm an only child, so I can imagine the bond. I have close cousins but not the same, but I would pick them any day over a boy/Relationship. I loved Damon/Stefan's relationship.....it was the ONLY reason I started on TVD. But you have to admit theirs is not the same invisible bond now as it was S1/2. Yes Stefan will drop everything to save his brother, but lately since S4, Damon only does to make Elena happy. He has little regard for his little brother now, his character can not survive without a love interest. Sad considering how awesome he used to be.
More than Klaus and Elijah I loved Klaus and Stefan....my dream substitute brothers. Then comes Klaus and Rebekah [no matter what, this is just a 1000yr vampire siblings tiff]. Klaus and Elijah are a very poor third. That's why I say I'm going to hold up still the finale. I love Elijah but I wont forget he was once conspiring with the TVD gang to kill Klaus. That he disregarded and comforted his little brothers murderer. He had 3 brothers, Finn chose his fate, Kol was wayward too, why take the big brother responsibilities with him as well. Why is Klaus special....because he is going to be a father, what if that wasn't on the cards, will he have disappeared again or tried to kill Klaus for good.
TVD has really jaded me to a character I still desperately want to believe in again.

  12. I was not invested into any of the character on TVd until Elijah waltzed in. I guess i watched for Elena getting saved by two hot brothers again and again. Despite people getting killed to save her (sometimes innocent), every time i would decide to hate her damsel in distress thing, she would have these really great moments of self-sacrifice or bravery, and she would pull me back in. she still does this thing even now, i hated her for getting more callous as a vampire, but then they had this montage of her running through forest, after being unable to kill Nadia and some chick EVEN to save her own life, and here i was feeling bad for her all over again.
And then Elijah came on screen and i spend agonizing months waiting for him to get killed off in each new episode.
Klefan - were great but Stefan just wasn't that into Klaus, they didn't know each other that long and weren't through anything bonding together (like life-threatening situation), they just sat at the bar, got drunk and killed girls, so after Stefan got his memories back, these memories were tramped by Klaus killing Elena. Can't blame Stefan for abandoning his so-called friend, klaus did nothing to cement this friendship.
Klaus and Rebekah were great in the beginning too, while Elijah laid in a coffin, for a bit it seemed like they were the closest out of the three. But then he started treating her like crap, she started choosing to try to be friends with his enemies or sleep with them, and it was all over.
klaus is special to Elijah for some reason we are about to see in flashbacks, i think. Remember they casted little kids to play elijah and niklaus. I am so looking forward to it.

  13. She conspired with Mikael & Marcel to have him murdered. He's not just going to get over that.

    ReplyDelete
  14. He will get over it, he just needs to cool down.

It's hard after taking her siblings for granted for a 1000 years to suddenly realise there was a moment one of them cracked under pressure and had a momentary decision to try and kill him. He did so many bad things and they still forgave him so now he is genuinely shocked to realise there are still limits to what they can forgive.
I only wish Klaus could see that Bekah changed her decision.

  15. The Siblings as children.....oh yes I am counting the days for that. I actually have high hopes for that episode.
I loved Klaus and Stefan's friendship, however brief it was. I agree once Elena was threatened Stefan went cold towards Klaus. But I don't think Klaus did towards Stefan. He once said that to Stefan, that he thinks more of him then Stefan will ever do with him. I think if the show allowed it, they could have been the new Alaric/Damon. They both had issues with themselves but Stefan could have been the brother/friend/family Klaus always wanted and Klaus accepted Stefan's ripper self, could even have helped him to control it, plus Stefan's love for Rebekah and vice versa would have been the making of them......or maybe its all just in my head LOL. Misses potentials.

    ReplyDelete
  16. If the storylines didn't put klaus against stefan then yes they could have been friends. But it would require Klaus to make certain concession and he was unwilling.
Even after they no longer they in all out war with klaus, Stefan was cold to him. I think he never forgave Klaus pushing hi mtowards being a ripper. Stefan hates that part of himself so much.

    ReplyDelete
  17. That's Stefan's problem, he needs others to take control of the Ripper. First it was Lexi, who taught him to keep it at bay, Klaus could have been the one to push Stefan to face what he was. To learn to control it openly, sure people would have died, but there vampires!!
I personally think during S3 people were beginning to hate on Damon for being a crap brother. Even the knowledge that he was getting Stefan back from Klaus paled in comparison to the fact that he was putting digs on his brothers 'One True Love'
I think people were happy to see a different Stefan with Klaus away from Elena and Damon after 2 years of being the same brooding self.
They didn't want Klaus to become the brother fans wanted for Stefan.....but that's just my personal opinion.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Honestly what did Klaus expect?

    ReplyDelete
  19. YES! They need to stop turning against each other and focus on their main problem: the witches.

    ReplyDelete
  20. well its appears to be all together different when he's the one betraying people... he can dish it out but can't take it...

    ReplyDelete
  21. Klaus is trying to kill his siblings again. How original. Where are the writers and producers getting their new ideas from all the time?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Elijah conspired to kill him and he got over it...eventually. That family does this to each other all of the time. That's why locking them together could ironically be good for them. They need to get to the root of the problem that keeps making them repeat the same cycle of betrayal.

    ReplyDelete
  23. There's only one witch left, and she'll probably get killed off too. The damage is done. All that's left now is the aftermath. It's been said that the family will never be the same again. I'm interested to see how this plays out.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Klaus doesn't have a dagger this time. He's looking to end Rebekah permanently, and he's never tried that before. Elijah sided against Klaus again because of Elijah's own personal issues with him, and now all three of them are going to go at it until something breaks. This has never been done before, and it's been said more than once that the result will be something we've never seen before.

    ReplyDelete
  25. It's interesting that such an unlikeable character can be the lead.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Well, to tell you the truth, I don't give a damn. Sorry if you have a problem with it and if you're a fan of the show, fine with me. I hope, you'll enjoy it many more
seasons. But to me personally, it all ended when Klaus became regular on TVD.
It's just my personal opinion, but: TVD was a brilliant show. Prove? In it's first year
it became immediately a success with a huge and loyal fan base. On the series
competition it was on the top5 if I remember correctly. Then Klaus was introduced. And don't get me wrong, he was a great character and Joseph was/is a great actor. But in S3 it became ridiculous. It was obviously, that JP wanted to keep Klaus on the show at any price (and the price was the quality of the show).
First, it was a human doppelganger he needed for his army of psychos. A reason for him to stay. It was impossible to kill an original and they only could use the daggers to "knock them out". Of course that didn't work on Klaus (for whatever reason), so he stayed around. Then they came up with the white oak stakes to make it more thrilling and intense. And, WOW, it would have even work on Klaus. But then suddenly killing a original kills his entire bloodline. And of course all MF vamps were from his line so they couldn't kill him without dying themselves. When Elena became a vampire and was useless to Klaus (so no reason for him to stay), they came up with a cure. Something, no vampire in 1000 years heard off, till JP needed to came up with a reason so Klaus could stay. It became ridiculously obvious, that JP wanted to keep Klaus at any price.
Not to mention, that they tried to kill him like 10 times. They made plans, attacked,
failed, made new plans, failed again, made new plans, … We were running in circles the entire S3 and partly S4.
I think that because off all this the show lost it's quality and many fans. What is it
telling you, that the show made in 2010 the 2. place (S1 I think) and the 36. in 2013 (S4). I'm talking about the series competition.
And I read somewhere, that the actors of TVD signet for 6 seasons and that none of them will sign again after the 6 years/seasons are over. What is this telling you?
To me it seems that even the actors hate what the sow became.
I got really disappointed with S3 and S4. So I stopped watching. And I haven't watched Originals. I'm thinking about downloading it when the season is finished. You think it will be worth my time?
Back to you answer. Yes, it's a difference between using a dagger or the white oak stake. But this "I love my family" "I hate my family" is getting old. Today he's protecting them and would kill for them, tomorrow he's trying to kill them himself. JP has no idea what direction Klaus should go. It was obvious in TVD. In one ep she's showing him like a lost hero seeking for redemption, in the next ep he's killing an entire innocent family for the simple reason that he's bored. He's absolutely unstable. Wasn't there a psychology student planned to be in Originals? What happened to her? Let me guess: he was mad cause the drugstore didn't have his favorite shampoo and he killed her? No, serious. What is the situation with her?

    ReplyDelete
  27. If you haven't watched the show how would you know what is happening in it. I agree one important reason TVD was ruined was because the roles of originals were extended. But this is a brand new show and situations are different. You should give it a try and if you don't like it then don't.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I was on Spoiler for Teen Wolf (and GoT and Lost Girl), was curious and watched the trailer for the next Originals and TVD ep. Speaking of which: why is Damon chained in the dungeon again?
Yes! That's exactly what I was saying the entire S4 and part of S3. The originals were great on TVD. But they should never became regular. I always said, they came, they had their part and it's time they leave. But JP was unable to let them go. The result was all I mentioned above. And the result of that was, that one of the best shows in years war ruined.
Well, I said that I will probably watch it when the season ends. Both TVD and Originals. I just hope, it won't be a waste of my time.
Isn't it sad? In S1 and 2 of TVD I was up all night or got up early the next morning to watch it. Oh, I'm in Europe, so Thursday evening in US is actually Friday morning here. But you get my point. I could hardly wait for the next ep. Now I don't care? So sad.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I would say try The Originals and don't waste your time with TVD. The Originals is having a good run. They have witches that do shit, warewolves and vampires trying to back stab each other. Its different from TVD.

I tried to watch TVD this season. Its really bad. Made me wish for season 4.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Oh … If you say S4 was good compared to S5, then it really must be bad. I hate JP for ruining this great show.
The thing is I fucking love Damon. For him I'll probably take the torture to watch S5. Someday, when I have the time and nothing better to do.
What a waste. It was a great show with potential and some great young actors. When I think of Nina playing Elena and Katerina in S2 … Perfect. Or Ian playing Damon with 2 personalities (the psycho and someone who tries to do the right thing) … Yum
    A waste.

  31. Um how come SPN.Arrow.TTP are returning on 18th and 19th but TO are airing next week??

This series is about them as a family, so they won't walk away from each other. They can't live with or without the other, but I am sure their relationship will mend. (I guess there will be a lot of: "Now we care about each other, now we want to kill each other moments")

    ReplyDelete
  33. Since Davina is back i guess Rebekah won't be daggered and instead Davina will force Klaus to stand down.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I bet Elijah regrets giving the stake to Klaus now, lol. You don't give the one weapon that can kill you and your siblings to the brother who is bipolar and repeatedly daggered his siblings, you just don't.
I wanted to see a real fight between Elijah and Klaus for a long time, and how nice it is that Elijah for once is not backing down to klaus like he almost always does, well the stakes are higher than usually, it's not just daggering anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  35. If TO runs for a long time i hope they don't eventually show some flashbacks with elijah betraying klaus too. I think klaus/Elijah relationship will remain strong throughout series run, like Damon/Stefan who fight a lot but never really can kill each other and always save each others lives.
The way it was shown on TVD Finn and Kol were never close to our main trio. That's why Finn spent 900 in a coffin, and nobody avenged Kol. I only have one brother but i guess when you have 7 siblings, you choose to love some of them and to hate others. Sad but true to real life, i know several families in which there are several siblings and they hate each others guts and fight for inheritance. When you have only one you love him/her no matter what, due to lack of choice.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I was losing my admiration of Elijah too but last episode restored it and even strengthened a lot.
Elijah choosing Klaus facing white oak stake pressed to his heart by insane Mikael - how can you not love it?
And yes Klaus is so sexy, and so is Elijah when he is vamping out, i hope we get to see more of it next episode, a lot more <3

    ReplyDelete
  37. The stupidity that brought all three of them into that situation had better have a good ending. I'm not sure if I can tolerate much more of Elijah protecting Rebekah, Rebekah hiding behind Elijah and continuing to let Marcel manipulate her, and Klaus and Elijah chasing each other around when they both know that they're giving the witches what they want. I hope all three of them realize that they're a disaster, not a family, and save themselves by walking away from each other.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Am I the only one who is upset with Klaus? I mean, he did awful things to both Elijah and Rebekah, but he can't forgive his sister for do ONE stupid thing (motivated by love) against him? He should worry about the witches, not about killing Bekah. Klaus is more upset with Rebekah for destroy the progress that he did with New Orleans than with the people of Mystic Falls, for killing his two brothers.
