Damn! :( I love this show!
ReplyDeleteDoes this means Syfy wont air it?
ReplyDeleteThat sucks the finale was awesome they can do so much with this show since it has time travel possibilities. And now we will never know Macks time line but i guess its cool maybe netflix will pick it up or syfy.
ReplyDeleteOh darn it all to heck!! Second cancellation i am sad over in the last few weeks. And normally i am so lucky. Guess i gotta lose some sometime.
ReplyDeleteI don't see a reason that one thing would have to do with the other. It's a new audience and new source of revenue.
ReplyDeleteThat's a bummer. It was uneven but showed some potential.
ReplyDeleteLets say it's a success with season 1 on Syfy what are the chances of them picking it up?
ReplyDeleteProbably slim to none. Sadly, SyFy is notoriously cheap and hesitant to produce a new of new SyFy shows. That's why several of their most recent new shows have actually been imports. It feels like they'll do one or two centerpieces (like the upcoming Defiance) but they don't really seem to want to get into the science fiction production game.
ReplyDeleteLike Sanctuary that show was amazing and worthy not to mention the ending was breath taking and now we wont see it :(

ReplyDeletegood luck on getting a tv network to respond to the public - a friend started a website when nbc cancelled a really good sci fi show called surface - about a boy who finds an egg and other creatures are giant like plesioursaurs - you can still find the dvd for this show - anyway friend set up website for fans to complain to nbc - we sent salt - dont know if you knew when cbs cancelled jericho fans sent peanuts - at least cbs went back and did an ending but nbc just let the show job - was very good creatures had been cloned - i did tape all 15 or so shows and later bought the dvds - i hate it when a network or station starts a good sci fi show and then just drops it - surface had a lot of viewers and even worldwide - friend was still getting hits on his website - think you can find it on facebook - called savesurface.com unless he took it down - so hundreds of thousands of fans worldwide were screaming for anyone to pick up show - including syfy channel which is part of nbc but no body did - that was like 2004 or 2005 and we are still mad - i never watch nbc
ReplyDeleteMany companies listen to the viewers/fans.
ReplyDeleteI just got to watch it on syfy and enjoyed it, hate to hear it is already cancelled. Ruined my day. ;)
ReplyDeleteI thought it was alright. It was a very uneven series in terms of writing and pacing. The one thing the show definitely did right is having Canning and Matter as the leads. They were great as a duo.
ReplyDeleteEDIT: On the bright side, the show was canceled early enough that maybe both leads can find themselves another pilot before pilot season is over.
