The Rookie goes into spy mode this week when the LAPD-FBI task force organizes a covert sting operation. Meanwhile, Wesley goes on the campaign trail for the DA race and ends up facing a public scandal.

“Spy Games” is one of the strongest episodes this season, but it doesn’t follow the usual format. Expect tell-all interviews, the return of several nemeses, an epic elevator fight and political damage control.

This was a tough one because a lot of characters have a moment to shine. But Wesley’s interview and Tim’s elevator fight stand out.
