The Rookie crosses over with Dropout TV (formerly CollegeHumor) this week in a bizarre new episode. Nolan (Nathan Fillion) and Celina (Lisseth Chavez) respond to a call at the Game Changers studio set and Nyla Harper (Mekia Cox) takes over Miles’ (Deric Augustine) training.
“Fun and Games” takes a turn from the season’s intensity with bad puns, super sticky super glue and a couples squabble. There’s a familiar face and also tears at the end.
Dropout TV fans can expect to see Sam Reich, Anna Garcia, Zac Oyama, Jacob Wysocki, and Vic Michaelis who each play a parody version of themselves. You do not need to be familiar with Dropout TV for the episode to make sense, but the jokes might not be for everyone.
