Chicago PD - Missing - Review : A Case Close To Home

I really loved this episode. The character focus episodes this season have been great and so informative of who these characters are deep down, it’s so rare that we get to see character focused episodes for multiple different characters in the span of a season and also still get to see an ensemble.

This was a really hard-hitting episode for Imani, and I loved to get to see more progression on the backstory of why Imani is in Chicago. It was so interesting to see her, and Voight get to know each other a bit more. Their relationship from the start of the season has essentially always been seeing each other as a mirror image and they’ve definitely opened up a lot to each other.

This was such a greatly put together episode and portrayed exactly how grief can change people no matter how much time has passed. I know we didn’t really get to see any progression for the family, but it did shock me that we didn’t see any progression for Imani, I assumed that she would stop looking for her sister knowing the outcome of the case. However I completely understand why she still wanted to look, I hope we do get a conclusion to that storyline be that in this season or next.

This was yet another incredible episode of Chicago PD, this season genuinely might be the strongest one yet!
