In this episode, “There’s no I in DMV,” Barb takes the team on a field trip to their rival North Hollywood branch, which is the one everyone hears about but never quite believes it can operate as flawlessly as the rumors claim. Once they arrive, the group is stunned and in awe by how efficiently everything appears to run, and Barb is especially thrown after meeting Beau, the charismatic manager whose confidence and charm leave her questioning her own leadership style. Randall Park is an excellent fit for the role and brings a hilarious, easygoing energy that quickly puts Barb on edge.

Back at home base, Colette finds herself spiraling again over her feelings for Noa. Thanks to Gregg and Vic’s meddling, she becomes convinced that she needs to present herself as more of a risk-taker to get his attention. Watching her try to reinvent herself to match Noa’s preferences adds a very relatable, romantic-comedy flavor to the episode.

Episode 7 blends workplace humor, character insecurity, and fun guest-star energy that is charming, fast-paced, and a reminder that the competition isn’t always as perfect as it seems.
